I was so happy I finally got to see her perform live. If you are looking for a good drink, get the Big Blue Lagoon! That drink was well poured, tasted great, and arrived quickly. Now for the bad. The service timing was absolutely HORIIBLE. There's a two item minimum and an automatic 18% service charge regardless of party size. For a mandatory tip, I expect efficiency. We ordered buffalo wings, coconut shrimp, and fries before the show started and it didn't arrive until halfway through the headliner's set. It's time to go at this point. Make that make sense...you cannot! Anywho, FYI...seating is first come, first serve, but the venue is small enough that the almost every seat is good. So no need to arrive one hour early unless you're dying for a front row seat.

At halftime I enjoyed from their selection of beverages and snacks. 'Torpedo' improvised a song about squatters rights that made me literally laugh out loud, even the DJ appreciated a quote about sand and how "it's coarse and rough and irritating and gets everywhere." I really enjoyed the intimate nature of the venue ...they're are truly no bad views no matter where you're sitting. It enabled a lot of great audience interaction to happen. Davis was the headlining act and two other comics preceded him. All three were great! There's a cocktail lounge called The Library next door or you can also conveniently have drinks served directly to your table by ordering via a QR code. I really enjoyed the venue, service, and entertainment. We even had the opportunity to have a photo snapped at the end and meet the comics outside in the lobby area between the bar and the comedy club.

It was not packed, but all the comics were hilarious minus the headliner, his comedy was way too dark and demonic. We could have did without him and ended with the comic before him. I laughed the whole time from the host to the second to last comic. It was also nice that a two drink minimum was not required and located in a very nice establishment. Way nicer than the location in Houston. Overall, highly recommend and would come back next time in town. Ps, would have given a 5, if the last comic did not perform.

The woman at the front was very friendly and said we looked trustworthy or something along those lines. The reason why this is a pet peeve is that I have run into issues with this before. It was not at this theatre but another. Someone else was already in the seats that I paid for. I decided not to make a big deal of it and sat somewhere else. At the end of the show, I could hear someone taking about how good the show was and how they couldn't believe it was free. This did not happen at this theatre but it could if they continue with not checking tickets. I recommend this place for good plays and good drinks.

They had a bar open and some snacks available in the lobby. The seating seemed like the view would be pretty decent from most seats and plenty of ushers to guide guests to their seats. Also, I tried to get in line for the women's bathroom, but the stench that came out was horrendous, they definitely need to update their air fresheners. Prepaid garage or valet parking options are available as well as a convenient parking lot a short walk away. The show was loud, especially for an acoustic performance, but the sound quality was great. Overall, there is a variety of price points, so you can splurge on club seating with table service, or choose the balcony to save the piggy bank. We sat in the mezzanine section however next time I would prefer to sit closer to the stage. While some of the ticket prices were on the high side, you can sign up for the newsletter to receive discounts on upcoming shows. The price of drinks was outrageous but sadly typical for a concert. I did not order food or beverages but be sure you view the menu / price list ahead of your visit. There was no meet & greet or photo opportunity offered for this event but I hope that is an option at future events. Definitely consider the Tobin when your favorite band is in town!

I will say if you go for an orchestra, avoid the lower orchestra outer edge seats as there's no exit aisle. You have to walk past your entire row to get to the spot if you are a bigger man. Most shows will have an intermission which allows you to get up, use RR, grab a quick snack and get back to your seat in time for the action. Modern meets classic. Classic exterior, modern exterior and interior. I suggest coming for a classical music performance and when coming with a date, sit in the mezzanine. Great view and feels more intimate.
