Great comedy club. Went for the empire comedy festival and enjoyed all the comics. Loved that they came from all over with different stories. Attention of the staff was great from the host to the bartender. Looking forward to returning soon

I had a great time. My friend Patty and I arrived early. Let ourselves in and the gentleman there explain it was closed and recommended to eat next door. When we came back he did reserve the table I joked to reserve. It was a great experience. I will go back.

    Absolutely.

Bobby and Kalvin are AMAZING! Every time I come here it is ALWAYS a great time! Yesterday did a Karaoke Brunch and we had a blast! Food was provided by a caterer and was yummy! On a normal day Upstage provides GREAT! Food! Try their empanadas! Go check out a show NOW! They do sell out and bar is amazing! Clean bathrooms and super friendly atmosphere! Perfect date night!

Hosts and employees were nice, professional, and accommodating. The place was nice but did look a little dated, not bad, though, and yes, it was clean. Prices for food and drinks were a bit high, so I definitely do not recommend ordering. A few of the comedians were not to my taste in humor but all in all it was a positive experience. I Probably won't be a repeat but it wasn't bad.

What a great comedy place. Truly hidden gem in San Antonio. This has been the second time we went. Tonight we saw Josh Pray. Awesome! This is a must see place. They have great mixed drinks, beer and food.

We got a pic with the owner! Super cool guy!

Great atmosphere, funny drink names that were tasty, good food to eat during the comedy show, and great comedy acts! The server we had was really attentive as well. Me and my best friend had such a great time! We loved that it's veteran owned, and we got in for free on the special the night we came! We definitely will be back for the comedy and for the karaoke nights (as soon as we can get a baby sitter again! Haha!)

Nice place to just sit back and relax. Food is good. Drinks are weak other than that. I will be going back.

I've spent plenty of time here, and there's something special about how they've got it set up. The stage is absolutely perfect--it's got that ideal intimacy where you can really connect with the room, making it a great space to test out new bits or just refine your set. And when you're not watching the show? The patio is the definition of a homey hangout. It's the perfect spot to decompress, talk shop with other comics, or just kick back with a drink. The vibe is always right, and it's become one of my favorite go-to spots in the city. If you're a local comic or just looking for a solid night of entertainment, you owe it to yourself to swing by on a Tuesday.

Prepaid garage or valet parking options are available as well as a convenient parking lot a short walk away. The show was loud, especially for an acoustic performance, but the sound quality was great. Overall, there is a variety of price points, so you can splurge on club seating with table service, or choose the balcony to save the piggy bank. We sat in the mezzanine section however next time I would prefer to sit closer to the stage. While some of the ticket prices were on the high side, you can sign up for the newsletter to receive discounts on upcoming shows. The price of drinks was outrageous but sadly typical for a concert. I did not order food or beverages but be sure you view the menu / price list ahead of your visit. There was no meet & greet or photo opportunity offered for this event but I hope that is an option at future events. Definitely consider the Tobin when your favorite band is in town!

Would recommend a visit at this beautiful venue!

Unfortunately, they hold this event once a year, at 4:30am on a Friday. You gotta get up EARLY, or the lines get so long. It's amazing how many people will line up for free tacos in San Antonio! They need to label their lines better. I jumped in the shortest looking line, and found out that it was for coffee and not food. Oh well, the coffee was from a local coffee place. There was a band playing live music for the lines of people. There were all kinds of vendors out here pushing their products and giving away swag. Parking is a mob scene. I advise you to try to find a spot on the edges, so you don't get trapped in. Parking was absolute chaos, with people getting blocked in by people not knowing how to park.

This is our list of things we pay attention to at a venue and Zombies passed with flying colors: Vibe- from bouncer to bartenders (the main couple bartending are the owners) everyone is super friendly and welcoming and always acknowledges everybody Menu- digital menu accessed by a QR Code on the bar opens to a site full of great house drinks with a description of what they entail; really great prices and makes it a place we love to get drinks from and try new things Recreation- Pool, Punching Bag, Air Hockey ($1 per game quarters only) as well as Darts for free Cleanliness- bathrooms are scary at first due to the painted hands on the walls but are cleaner than your standard bar Misc. - Temperature is great, I get hot and she gets cold easy but we were well balanced throughout the night -Safety is a priority and the setup attracts people who all seem to be very chill and friendly -Owners opened up a neighboring smoke shop that has GREAT prices and we're always sure to stop by for a preroll or whatever else we're craving that night Last but not least, it's a Karaoke Bar, starting at 930 every open night, we LOVE to watch people go up and try their vocal cords out at a song they know every word to, and there's always a great response no matter how the performance went. 10/10 would recommend Zombies to anyone that asked

The vibe I got from her was that she was racist and she was passively aggressively letting me and my significant other know that she didn't approve of our 'race mixing '. I suppose some one should gift this bar a confederate flag or swastika banner so they can display something that offers as a warning to potential customers as to what this establishment's 'values ' are. I have been to this bar several times before and never had an issue with any other staff member. My old band even played there before and was treated well, when we did. It looks like they are mid-renovation. Much of the interior is either outdated or under construction. On the ground level there are a couple kiosks to purchase your ticket and a ticket taker employee before you get on the long and steep escalator. At the top of the escalator you have a hallway of theaters. There is a concessions area, but I had to ask an attendant at the top of the escalator where the concessions was. It was located on the other side of the wall (of the hallway). The concessions is fairly small in size, but they offer most all of the typical Regal treats The staff were helpful and professional. And it's not a bad movie going experience. I think I was just put off by the construction and the confusing layout. There wasn't a usable escalator to get back to ground level and I had to use an elevator (I only saw one), and this felt like a fire hazard, but there must have been stairs somewhere Some tips: Join regal rewards to earn points with every purchase.
