After a friend recommended Brooklyn Cat Sitting to me on a whim, I reached out (Brooklyn Bark never got back to me for what it's worth) and Brooklyn Cat Sitting was quick to respond with a lifeline. The communication from the coordinator was excellent. The warm enveloping cloud-like pillow of comfort I felt when I chatted with my weekend sitter Kris via FaceTime left me feeling carefree. Kris had delivered the knockout punch to my stress. But this was only the beginning. We communicated via the Time to Pet app. As I thought of things I forgot, I messaged Kris and received a quick responses followed by with waves of relief at having made the right decision. I received lovely photos and wonderful updates that made me smile and great little messages (and white lies) about how well-behaved my little cuties were. We haven't had a single trip that's gone without major issues because of sitter neglect and lack of care. We decided to try boarding to help with our cat's separation anxiety and we still can't believe how well it went. Communication and expectations were open and clear, and the sitter went above and beyond to make sure our cat felt safe and cared for, even with her timidity and fears. She did so much to ease her anxiety and help her in the stressful situation of unfamiliarity and interrupted routine. It was a dream come true to find someone like this. I was also reassured by concluding a contract with the company, which clearly stipulates all provisions of the boarding and when we'll receive updates/photos, etc. It eased our minds so much compared with past experiences when communication was totally sporadic despite someone living in our home. This is her second visit and my experience has seriously been top of the line. I made an appointment a week ago and we arrived on time, Cee-Cee was immediately seen and the groomer remembered her from the last visit. Cee-Cee recognized him as well. Cee-Cee was returned to me later that afternoon unscathed, clean, and smelling like a million bucks. The shedding treatment has been a great success, I've noticed that the shedding which is usually a lot this time of year has decreased significantly. In six weeks we will take her back for bath, nails trim, and a shedding treatment, definitely worth the money.
