The owner Shelly is a lovely lady with a passion for fine pastries and delicious coffee. One of the best traditional macchiato I have ever tasted. I can't say enough about this Gem in CDA. I was visiting CDA for the weekend and was super excited to try this place when I saw they had macaroons. there were a good variety of flavors to choose from, however, I only wanted to order 2. The lady working said we could only order 6 or 12, which I found weird and slightly annoying. I ordered 6 and only ended up liking 2 of the flavors. The filling was really thick and felt like I was biting into cold butter. however, the caramel and the honey lavender were amazing. But $17 for so-so macaroons? It's a bit much. Maybe my expectations are a bit high since I've recently come back from France lol. Maybe I'll try something else next time. read more

For the price point I'd say it's worth it but for the location (cost of living) I'd say it's a bit on the high side. Solid chocolate croissant and scone. The place is organized well and has a simple, bright quality to the decor. It brings together the trendy, crisp feel with the neighborhood cafe vibe. One of the better bakeries in the area to hit the sweet spot whether you're a macaroon lover or not just be ready to pay the price. read more

This place has the best atmosphere for meetings or catching up with old friends. They also have the BEST coffee. Our favorite is the dirty chai. It's not overly sweet and is well balanced with vanilla and spice. The macaroons are also delicious and would make for a lovely gift. read more
