For almost three weeks, I suffered from severe 10/10 pain around my left shoulder blade and ribs after weeks of terrible coughing. The pain felt like someone was stabbing a knife into my back and chest. I could not lie down to sleep and had to sleep sitting upright. Breathing deeply and especially coughing were extremely painful, sometimes the pain literally brought me to tears. I went back and forth to Kaiser. They did X-rays, urine tests, and lab work to rule out a fracture, kidney problems, and other possible causes. Everything came back normal. I was given a muscle relaxant, pain medication, and cough syrup. My cough improved, but the severe shoulder pain did not. I was exhausted, barely sleeping, and still trying to go to work every day.I could barely concentrate and sometimes felt like I was going to collapse from the exhaustion and pain. Luckily, I found Dr. Song after searching for traditional treatment options and reading his many positive reviews. He explained where he believed my pain was coming from and placed a few acupuncture needles around my left hip and later my neck. Within seconds after the first few needles, he asked me to stand up and move my shoulder, I immediately noticed less pain and tightness. After the treatment, I went home and realized that about 70% of my pain was gone. For the first time in weeks, I could lie down and rest without that horrible stabbing pain. I almost couldn't believe it. I am going to return for another session. After three weeks of severe pain, being able to lie down, breathe more comfortably, and finally rest after just one treatment felt like a miracle to me. The clinic does not bill insurance, price $140/ session. When check in, I was given paper to inform about fee and docs that need to sign. Clinic accept cash and card. Thank you, Dr. Song. First of all, the cupping all reviewers are mentioning about is very basic where you can easily buy from Amazon and it is the air cupping. He didn't clean the cupping even before he used it on me. During the cupping, some were loose and he didn't even bother to re-do it and tie them up. You can tell from how he did it that he is so amateur. The one cupping he used with the machine is toy-like. Again, he didn't sanitize or clean it at all. After the cupping, I felt no difference at all. Besides that, he used some "energy water" he said he created himself to help blood circulation. That almost made me laugh in front of his face. There's no hygiene in his little office at all. He used the same cloth that cleans your feet to clean your ear. What the heck is that? The worst experience with this guy is he tried to brain wash people during the entire "treatment". He tried to adjust his voice high and low almost like a little clown to make you feel better, however during the half an hour session he literally did nothing! He used the toy cupping for probably 5-10 minutes, he used his "home-made energy water" to clean my feet and ears for 5-10 minutes and then he told me how to breathe so that i have better sleep for another 5-10 minutes. The whole concept of breathing and sleeping is all from the internet. I would rather watch Youtube for half an hour. This is a completely joke. I recommend no one to go see this guy. He has no license and probably learned some from Youtube and now tries to make money off of it. He kept bragging he used his treatment to himself and now feels better than when he was in his 20th. One of my $5 bills had a small piece of tape on the corner, and the cashier refused to accept it. I asked her to return my money so I could pay with my credit card. She simply placed my cash on the counter and walked away without saying a word. I found that extremely rude. She didn't ask whether I still wanted my drink or if I would be paying another way. Walking away and ignoring a customer doesn't solve the situation. I had to call her back and say, "Excuse me, since you don't want to take my cash, I'd like to pay with my credit card." She returned with an obvious attitude, turned the credit card terminal toward me, and walked away again before I had even finished paying. I was truly disappointed by how I was treated. A little courtesy and communication would have gone a long way.
