I went here with my dad and they have an awesome selection of work boots, they don't really have any hiking type boots but they have awesome work boots. GREAT customer service!! We were starting to get discouraged with trying to find work boots for my husband in his size. We decided to try one more place. Came to Work Boot Wearhouse and were instantly impressed. We were greeted at the door and the guy helping us was super attentive, asked what we were looking for in detail and brought out a selection of different boots to try on and laced them up for my husband. Even when other people came into the store he didn't rush or try and hurry us through the sale. He took as much time finding us what we were looking for as we needed and was pleasent the whole time. To put a cherry on top the prices are leaps and bounds better than anywhere else we tried...given that you are going to spend a few bucks on good works boots, having great customer service makes it easier to bare. read more

Bought my first pair of boots more than a week ago after coming here two weeks prior. I had a few boots in mind to try out before buying. But my man Isiah recommended me a pair of chippewa which I bought. The original pair was not perfect as with ang other handcrafted goods. But Isiah took out anothrr left show with the same size to address the imperfection. But I had an unequal shade of color but he told me that he will oil it up and the shade would be closer. Few days after I was rearing to use it. But found out that the oil dried up and the left shoe became more lighter than the original one. Called them up and told me to come at their place to address the problem and that they did they oiled them up with another specialty oil and told me it should stay at the same shade. They sell seconds and will not give a refund. I bought shoes and returned them 22 HOURS later. They only give store credit. You will not know they only give store credit until you read the receipt. They post no signs, so you lose your money unless they have something you like. Remember, their shoes are factory seconds. They do not sell first quality merchandise. This is a bad business and their goal is to get your money, not sell you a quality product. Do not waste your money on their inferior products. If you spend a dime there, it's theirs. read more

Warning: DO NOT BUY FROM HERE! I bought a pair of Thorogood station boots . I hadn't worn them and I bought them them three days ago. I ended up going to galls and got a better brand new boot from them. Needless to say, they will sell you a junk boot with imperfections and and scuffs. I went to return the Thorogood boots and the employee told me they only give a store credit. I told them that is a ripoff and they are cheating people out of a lot money for mediocre boots. As a first responder, I want to warn my fellow law enforcement, firefighters, and ems brothers to stay away from this business. I went into the store on 05/29/2013 to buy a pair of work boots. (First time there) To start the service was slow but helpful. The sales rep showed several boots until I found a pair that felt at the time ok. I asked him how the boots were and he said he didn't know they have only been in two weeks. He said I would be the Guinea Pig and to try them out. So I purchased the boots ($86.06) walked on them the next day a few hours felt like something was poking my foot and tried returning them on 05/31. This is when everything changed. The clerk there said that they had been used and couldn't be returned. i said something feels defective in the boot. I wasn't looking for a refund just a different boot. He said well 'I will give you back $40, what a scam when all there going to do is return them to vendor and get a full refund. i asked to speak with the manager same thing occurred except he rude and said sorry no luck take 1/2 or nothing. I took nothing left the boots and called my bank and place a dispute with the merchant. If you need work boots I would definitely stay away from this place. Bad service, rude manager and bad return policy (However good money making scam) to only want to give back 1/2 of the purchase price. not worth it. I called the Work boot Warehouse on Friday 08/02/2013, and spoke with Adrian regarding my complaint. I advised him that my end resolution to this would be for a refund based on the fact that the boots were not even a day old and they wanted to not even offer a refund at first. After discussion the day of purchase he offered 50% of what I had paid for the boots. I felt cheated and that they were treating there customer's unfair. When I spoke to him on 08/02/13 he agreed for a full refund and to come in on Monday 08/05/13. I called him on Monday to verify he was there and during that conversation he stated that he was rescinding his offer that he has changed his mind and to do whatever I wanted. Not only do I feel cheated and lied to now to add insult to injury. Again my suggestion is to stay as far away from this place and go shopping somewhere else that offers an honest return policy not a scam. Sears allows you to wear their boots for 30-day and if for any reason you are unhappy, they will give you a full refund. I learned my lesson unfortunately lost money and boots. Went in to purchase some work boots..sales guy showed me some wolverine moc toe work boots with durashocks and told me they were the newest model of the ones I usually buy so I said ill take them...I get home and do some research on the net and cant find them anywhere...so I call wolverine direct and they tell me they were discontinued...I went back to exchange them for the ones I usually get that were 34 dollars cheaper....They said I could not get my money back and only offer a store credit......If you purchase boots from work boot warehouse make sure they are what you want because they only offer store credit and will not give you your money back and make sure you do your research on the boots before you buy....seems like they sell alot of out dated or discontinued boots for full price...also there website says they will refund your money within 30 days if boots are still new...that is bull read more

Worst boot store ever! I went in yesterday, 07.20.14. to purchase slip resistant boots. I work in a restaurant. The service was extremely slow, but the salesman was very helpful. I chose a pair of slip-resistant, oil resistant and steel toe boots. They were on sale so I paid $65, including tax. As I was checking out, a second salesman assured me those boots were specifically made for my line of work. I went to work an hour later and wore my new boots. Within two hours, I had slipped countless times, one of those ending up on my butt. I was pretty upset. I went back in today, 7.21.14., looking to get an exchange at the very least. The salesmen's attitudes were COMPLETELY different. They had me standing around waiting for about half an hour, even after I told them I was pressed for time. One of the young salesmen began to help me, then out of nowhere handed me off to an older man, who seemed like he was the manager. He was SO rude. He tried to show me this ugly shoe that he swore was slip resistant and pointed out that the style didn't matter. However, I told him I wanted boots and said I didn't want to spend more. He ended up arguing with me, calling me a liar when I told him the boots he sold me were slippery and also refused to give me a refund since they were used. Of course they had to be used in order for me to find out if they were any good. I argued that it was false advertising to claim a boot was slip resistant if it's not. And he blamed the manufacturer even though he's the one selling them. He ended up giving me boots that were a few bucks more expensive for the same price and acted like he did me a huge favor. I will NEVER be going back to that place and I recommend no one does. They will rip you off! read more
