Corned Beef Hash and a Bloody Mary!
    Rachael R.

We were the first customers in on the 4th of July. Payne greeted us and quickly took our drink orders...Bloody Mary's are great and husband's Hazy from Fort George was just as good! We ordered breakfast, Corned Beef Hash and the Workers Breakfast! Both were pretty good... For a dive bar breakfast! We'll definitely be back whenever we're in Astoria! Great service, Great Food, and Great Dive Bar atmosphere!

A group of us stopped into Worker's Tavern for breakfast on our way home back to WA. Free street parking can be found. Discover is an accepted form of payment. Worker's Tavern offers a full bar along with slot machines. There is an ATM on-site for those who need to take money out to gamble with. Indoors is small but has tables to seat large groups. In the back one will find an outdoor seating area with a dissimilar vibe than the tavern. During our visit, the kitchen staff was about 45 minutes late so we weren't able to order breakfast right away. Once the kitchen staff decided to show up, there were quite a few people ready to order their breakfast which caused disjointed and undercooked meal deliveries. Table service was not offered inside or outside. All transactions are done at the bar. The breakfast menu doesn't list pricing and when I asked about the prices, I was told they change regularly. Shady statement. While waiting for the kitchen staff I sipped on a Bloody Mary for $12 and my wife sipped on a Screwdriver for $6.50. The Bloody Mary seemed a bit overpriced to me. Two people in our group ordered the Chicken Fried Steak and it was still frozen on the inside when served. Worker's Tavern corrected the meals; however, I'm certain the meals were undercooked due to the pressure of the late kitchen staff and the hungry demands of the morning patrons. It is imperative that staff show up at their scheduled shift times. I wanted to try the Cheddar Fritters & Syrup but was told they were out of the item. My wife and I shared the Mushroom Swiss Omelet for $14 + $4.25 up-charge to add sausage to the omelet. We were both happy with our meal choice. Overall, Worker's Tavern has potential; however, that potential was severely during our visit.

Walking in it definitely has a locals vibe but welcoming to visitors. The bartender was super sweet and we got to learn all about meat bingo--what?! You get to play bingo and win meat?! Sign me TF up! Good selection of beverage options and breakfast looked really good and at a decent price. Has a nice back area not on the main drag to enjoy an outside break and smoke if that's your thing. Will definitely return when back in the area.

The vibes were great, stayed in the air bnb above the bar. Highly recommend. I got the burger and fries and it was delish! Bartenders were very friendly

Great staff!! They really make you feel like you're just old friends instead of customers. Very reliable service, they are open 9 AM -2 PM, seemingly regardless of weather. Breakfast is tasty and the coffee is surprisingly high quality. We only tried a couple dinner items but they were all solid. Fries are great. Dirty balls are really different and give you a good laugh. They regularly come up with fun cocktails, but you have to get the yucca!

This place is awesome! Jennifer took great care if us making sure the drinks weren't empty. She is pretty awesome and had some good stories. The food was delicious. I had the turkey pot pie and let me tell you if you leave hungry, you have one hell of an appetite. Later on we sat by the fire pit out and back met some other cool peeps. Will be back next visit!

The views of the bridge, the…read morewonderfully high ceilings and decor, and of course, the food make this, in my humble opinion, the best address in town. Tonight I had the fried oysters, a Caesars salad, and the ribeye steak. This was all perfect (I described the same appetizers very enthusiastically in my first review) and I'd like to highlight the fantastic ribeye steak, which I ordered medium rare. This was so delightful and expertly executed, it easily exceeded some steaks I've had in designated (and more expensive and pretentious) steakhouses. The service was excellent as usual; so were the Manhattan and pilsner on tap. When in doubt, pay the Bridgewater a visit and thank me later.

The locations is fantastic. I love that they have a parking lot so we could park right outside…read more Inside is spacious and the views are great. The hostess was very friendly, something we didn't see from the rest of the staff. We got seated right away, but it was about 10 minutes until the server finally made it to our table. We placed our order and it took 20 minutes for our appetizer to hit the table. We got the chili-lime prawns. They were the highlight of the meal. Perfectly cooked and seasoned well. I saved the honey lime sauce for my fries. It was 35 MORE minutes until our entrees hit the table. Ridiculously slow. We both got the fish and chips. The batter was light and tasty and the fish was cooked beautifully. The staff on the floor were generally disagreeable. They were rude to each other and the guests. I watched one waitress walking around holding knives out in front of her as she walked, just missing guests as she navigated the floor. Safety hazard... there's something I haven't had to include in a review before. Nice venue, great food, horrible service
