This resort is fairly large and is at a good location. It is close to Stanfield Marsh boardwalk, Alpine Pedal Path, Woodland Trails and Discovery center. It is also close to Vons and Stater Bros markets. This resort has many onsite amenities. It has a recreational center with arcade games, billiard table, fools ball, air hockey, a fitness room. There is also pickle ball courts, basketball court, table tennis, corn hole, bocce ball , a mini putting green area and a children's playground. In addition, there are swimming pools and jacuzzis. Each unit has a full kitchen stocked with the basic necessities for cooking. Each unit also has a private bbq grill, washer and dryer for laundry. They even provided seasoning packets you can use to season your food. I especially liked the "garlic junkie" seasoning. It really enhanced the chicken and the burgers I made while I was there. Staff were friendly. I had a very good experience with this resort. My only complaint would be the floor to my unit could be cleaner. I wonder if they mop the floor after each guest checked out. I would recommend this resort. Each unit is spacious and comfortable.

Bathroom. And yes there was a bath mat.

If I could rate it a 10 out of 10 I would. This is your home away from home get away. Guarantee safety and comfort and ease of access. Also so many on property amenities and activities that can keep your family busy. At the time of our visit, the winter blizzard just had passed and left the property with tons of inches of snow. Never had to leave the property for snow play. All for free. CONCERNS PRIOR: booked through booking.com and was afraid of bad service or last minute cancellations by the resort as said by previous reviewers. SERVICE: 5/5 Welcoming and friendly COMFORT: 5/5 Beds including the murphy bed was comfortable IN ROOM AMENITIES: 5/5 Full kitchen, with plates, utensils, cookware, fridge with freezer, oven, microwave, and basic seasonings (salt, pepper, chili flakes etc). No rice cooker though. Washer and dryer, private outdoor propane grill. Hair dryer and extra toilet paper and tissues, trash baggies. Even your own dustpan, broom, vacuum. CONS: Sensitive smoke detector. Sets off instantly when cooking in the kitchen. Heard the other nearby neighbors alarm go off too. Bobby the maintenance guy was so kind and let us know that it wasn't uncommon to go off. Made us feel better as it was embarrassing loud and frequent. SUGGESTIONS FOR IMPROVEMENT: gets cold in big bear despite the room heater. Would love to see the resort include disposable house footwear/hotel slip ons for walking in the unit. And a freezer in their little shop for frozen snacks/ice cream for last minute sweet cravings. Would I stay here again? 100%. Also, if you're staying on the bottom unit, it is common to hear the above units foot steps. Luckily it wasn't that bad.

We just checked in last night but I already love this location The little cabin we booked was two bed, two baths, and has a pull out bed in the living room so it comfortably fit the five of us in my family. It has a full kitchen and an outdoor grill. It was warm and cozy. I love how they also have a basketball court, foosball table, ping pong table, pool, jacuzzi, arcade, lounge area, a gym, water refill station, and a children's outdoor playground. It's fun for the whole family of all ages! The whole site was peaceful, serene, and the perfect amount of chilly (came during October). I also love how it's driving distance to a lot of great restaurants so it's a perfect getaway but we can still get our needs met

We wanted to get away from the scorching heat so we booked a night here. Upon arrival, we expected that our room isn't ready yet. So we went to look for a charging station, bought some supplies, and walked around the lake. By the time, we did all those, we received a text saying our room is ready. Great!! This time, we were given an upstairs unit. I would have loved the patio if a tree didn't obstruct the view. We checked out early to avoid the inclement weather. But we made sure everything is clean and left the unit organized as much as possible. We don't want to be charged $250 for housekeeping as one Yelper mentioned.

We have been coming up to big bear for years but this is the first time we used our timeshare up here. This by far is the best way to do Big Bear! The condos are equipped with everything (washer, dryer, bbq, cookware, fireplace, shampoo, conditioner) . We got to have breakfast and bbq throughout our time here on the balcony . The pool and tennis courts were closed but they had 2 separate jacuzzis available. There are pickle ball courts about .5 mile away so we got to play . We played basketball at resort and they have a great game room with pool tables and arcade games. The parking is free and the staff were all nice . I must add that they run on solar panels. This is a big plus because they often have power outages up here , don't have to worry about it ruining your trip. This place is worth every penny!

This place was super clean inside and out. The entire grounds were well kept as far as the lawn being cut, the trees groomed, and zero trash nowhere. It was just beautifully maintained. We stayed only stayed a total of 2 nights but this place has everything you need if you really wanted to stay here a while or even live here! Washer and dryer units, bbq grill, vacuum, large fridge, TV, fireplace, pots and pans, plates, utensils, coffee, etc. Everything was stocked up as well. They even supplied a small stash of herbs and spices in case you wanted to cook some food up. We decided to take advantage of the grill so we bought some burger patties and essentials down the street at the Stater Bros, waking distance I might add. Our check-in went smoothly and everyone was polite and very helpful. The check-out process was super easy, you can send a text to a number provided on the fridge to checkout and voila, you are outta there!

    Looking out our backdoor.

Well, we had a couple of vacation days burning a hole into our planner and we needed a quick get away place. Having had good luck at this Big Bear location before we decided a repeat visit was in order. Got a great little studio for two, clean, comfy, and cozy all come to mind as I search for descriptors. The location is surrounded by a lot of place to check out, but we just wanted to chill for a couple of days and this place was perfect. Nice.

my stay was so nice. I highly recommend this place. It was so beautiful this time of year. I bet it's even more beautiful for winter. Definitely coming back with my family. Great costumer service props to the timeshare guy in the lobby he recommended the dinner munchies

We didn't expect such a spacious two bedroom condo unit. At first we thought it was a one bedroom which would've been fine but with two bedrooms and all that space it made us smile as we walked through it. The only downside was the low pressure shower but other than that we really enjoyed our stay.

We chose a room with a kitchenette, and even for our short stay, it was a great convenience. Service is a little hit or miss. When we arrived our room was a bit stuffy so we tried to use the thermostat, which kept indicating a low battery. We called the front desk and the man who answered hesitantly said they'd tell maintenence. On our way out for dinner, we stopped by the front desk to remind them of our request and it was the same person who answered the phone. He was surprised and scrambled to find a sticky note to write it down. After all of that, we come back to the room to a note that it's been "fixed." The A/C and heat are controlled on the unit by the window itself, not the thermostat. So why not say that the two times we asked about it? The entrance and exit are towards the road behind the main street through down, which has restaurants, a 7-11, and other places you can easily walk to -- if they had an exit facing the main road. We had to walk around the building, climb over the railing and then make our way to the sidewalk.

However, I was disappointed that the bathroom in Room 363 already had some maintenance issues. The toilet was loose and wobbled every time we used it, and the shower handle was also loose and moved around when adjusting the water temperature. For a newer property, I expected these basic fixtures to be in better condition. The complimentary breakfast was a simple American-style breakfast with a few hot items, which was convenient but nothing particularly special. Overall, the hotel has great potential because it's clean and well maintained in general, but the maintenance issues in our room definitely affected our experience. Hopefully, management will address these problems soon, as this could easily be a 4 star stay with better attention to detail.

They made us feel right at home, which was a great way to start our stay. We booked a room with two queen beds, a fireplace, and a balcony. The lobby is nice, and the hotel has a spacious breakfast area along with an on-site restaurant. Our room was on the first floor, though, and the balcony overlooked someone's backyard, so we didn't really get to enjoy sitting outside. That was probably the biggest disappointment. The room itself was comfortable enough. The beds were decent, and it looked like some of the decor had been updated. The bathroom, however, could definitely use some work. There were patched areas on the walls, cracked baseboards, and it felt a little worn. The hallways could also use a refresh. The game room was a nice surprise. It had a pool table, ping pong, foosball, a few board games, and vending machines. There's also a small outdoor pool and jacuzzi, which looked like a nice place to relax. Breakfast was included and had a good variety of options, which we appreciated, especially on a busy holiday weekend. Overall, while parts of the hotel felt a little dated and even a bit creepy in places because of the older chateau style, we still enjoyed our stay. For the price we paid during one of the busiest weekends of the year, it was a good value. A few updates would make a big difference, but the excellent customer service and included breakfast definitely left a positive impression.

It's certainly strange- you take an elevator up, stairs down, more stairs down, some up, and you finally find your second floor room. It similar to the Winchester House in San Jose. We didn't eat breakfast, although it is provided, but we did have dinner at Tiffany's. Dinner was great, with live entertainment. The hot tub is small, five person max, but the pool was nice, with several chairs around to relax. There is an outdoor bocci ball court. Inside is a game room with a pool table, foosball, air hockey, ping pong, checkers, and connect four. All free. Parking is free. Overall, nice place. There is plenty of lodging in Big Bear, but if you get an opportunity, I would try this place.
