We just checked in last night but I already love this location The little cabin we booked was two bed, two baths, and has a pull out bed in the living room so it comfortably fit the five of us in my family. It has a full kitchen and an outdoor grill. It was warm and cozy. I love how they also have a basketball court, foosball table, ping pong table, pool, jacuzzi, arcade, lounge area, a gym, water refill station, and a children's outdoor playground. It's fun for the whole family of all ages! The whole site was peaceful, serene, and the perfect amount of chilly (came during October). I also love how it's driving distance to a lot of great restaurants so it's a perfect getaway but we can still get our needs met

We wanted to get away from the scorching heat so we booked a night here. Upon arrival, we expected that our room isn't ready yet. So we went to look for a charging station, bought some supplies, and walked around the lake. By the time, we did all those, we received a text saying our room is ready. Great!! This time, we were given an upstairs unit. I would have loved the patio if a tree didn't obstruct the view. We checked out early to avoid the inclement weather. But we made sure everything is clean and left the unit organized as much as possible. We don't want to be charged $250 for housekeeping as one Yelper mentioned.

We have been coming up to big bear for years but this is the first time we used our timeshare up here. This by far is the best way to do Big Bear! The condos are equipped with everything (washer, dryer, bbq, cookware, fireplace, shampoo, conditioner) . We got to have breakfast and bbq throughout our time here on the balcony . The pool and tennis courts were closed but they had 2 separate jacuzzis available. There are pickle ball courts about .5 mile away so we got to play . We played basketball at resort and they have a great game room with pool tables and arcade games. The parking is free and the staff were all nice . I must add that they run on solar panels. This is a big plus because they often have power outages up here , don't have to worry about it ruining your trip. This place is worth every penny!

This place was super clean inside and out. The entire grounds were well kept as far as the lawn being cut, the trees groomed, and zero trash nowhere. It was just beautifully maintained. We stayed only stayed a total of 2 nights but this place has everything you need if you really wanted to stay here a while or even live here! Washer and dryer units, bbq grill, vacuum, large fridge, TV, fireplace, pots and pans, plates, utensils, coffee, etc. Everything was stocked up as well. They even supplied a small stash of herbs and spices in case you wanted to cook some food up. We decided to take advantage of the grill so we bought some burger patties and essentials down the street at the Stater Bros, waking distance I might add. Our check-in went smoothly and everyone was polite and very helpful. The check-out process was super easy, you can send a text to a number provided on the fridge to checkout and voila, you are outta there!

Well, we had a couple of vacation days burning a hole into our planner and we needed a quick get away place. Having had good luck at this Big Bear location before we decided a repeat visit was in order. Got a great little studio for two, clean, comfy, and cozy all come to mind as I search for descriptors. The location is surrounded by a lot of place to check out, but we just wanted to chill for a couple of days and this place was perfect. Nice.

my stay was so nice. I highly recommend this place. It was so beautiful this time of year. I bet it's even more beautiful for winter. Definitely coming back with my family. Great costumer service props to the timeshare guy in the lobby he recommended the dinner munchies

We didn't expect such a spacious two bedroom condo unit. At first we thought it was a one bedroom which would've been fine but with two bedrooms and all that space it made us smile as we walked through it. The only downside was the low pressure shower but other than that we really enjoyed our stay.

This is by far the best accommodations in Big Bear. It is so hard to find a friendly staff anymore. The staff here is so wonderful and kind! Such a beautiful and well maintained property. We will definitely be coming back. They allowed us to bring our mountain bikes inside as well. The only downside is if you are downstairs you will here everything above you.

Not much rental activity except in the winter, damage to the property that went unreported by housekeeping, and just the general vibe that our small cabin was a very low priority for them. Finally, we made the decision to change management this summer after we completed a remodel. I found Leanne in a Big Bear FB group online along with several other PMs who responded to a post I made about looking for new management. Leanne was the only one who provided helpful, tangible information when she reached out to me. We spoke and then I decided she and SkyHigh cabins would be our new managers. The onboarding process was smooth and detailed. They are extremely professional and walked me through the different stages of getting ready to "go live" on the various platforms they use. It took about 6 weeks to get everything completely switched over. But when we did go live in mid-October 2025, all I can say is WOW!! We've had 12 reservations made in just over a week's time! We didn't have 12 reservations in the last year total with the old company, so this has been very, very exciting for us. Aside from all of that, Leanne, Jennifer and their team are very communicative and helpful. If you are looking for new management, I cannot recommend them enough. Just do what they tell you to do, use their vendors, and follow their lead. They have figured out the algorithms and rental platforms to such a degree that your property will actually start to pay for itself. The pictures are exactly what you get. It's a cute 1 bedroom cabin with an upstairs loft. The good thing about this place is it's not as old as some other cabins. Not overly decorated or cluttered...it's simplistic/minimal. During the day, we stayed upstairs with our 9 month old son. It's carpeted so it was easy for him to crawl around and play while we watched movies from Redbox. The kitchen had all the basic amenities and it was easy to use all the appliances. We brought food with us in a small cooler so we were able to cook our meals without having to go out to town. During the night, we stayed in the tempurpedic queen-size bed. There were extra portable heaters in the closet which came in handy during the cold, snowy nights. The fireplace kept the place nice and toasty (just make sure you get a fire-starter and some fire wood). The location of this cabin is great; we drove to The Village and Boulder Bay Park. There's also Vons and Stater Bros for groceries and a Starbucks nearby. The slopes are close by but we weren't able to go boarding at this time because of our baby. Overall, we enjoyed our short stay. But there is one thing I wanted to point out...As part of the property rental agreement, just remember to take out your trash with you when you leave. I found that sort of weird because our car was fully packed with our luggages and there was no room for us to drive our trash out and dump it to the 2 locations. I did call the housekeeper to let them know when I was checking out. I was hesitant at first due to the lack of Yelp reviews; but look into their TripAdvisor reviews also. The mansion has so much history, is perfect to accommodate multiple families with en suites, huge kitchen, many places to relax, and plenty to do. We had kids from ages 4 to 10. We thought we would run out of things for them to do. Not at all. The mansion is so huge, they had plenty of room to stretch out, the hills on the property provided for fun sledding and snowman building. The adults were either at the sauna, jacuzzi, kitchen, outside in the snow walking the 2 acres of property or just relaxing in one of the many comfy nooks. I highly recommend Edgewood Mansion for any type of event whether it's a birthday trip, family reunion, corporate retreat or any other purpose where you want to feel like you're at home, or provided for like a Queen. The location which is located higher up in the mountains is away from the traffic. The accommodations are immaculate and the concierge services provided by Chantal who was available to us 24/7 before we got there and during, was spot on. This is super dangerous and luckily my youngest daughter did not get burned. There is no reason to allow your water heater to pump out scolding hot water, that is a simple adjustment. Fan in the bathroom is broken upstairs so to get air flow from a shower, you need to open the window which is in direct view of the neighbors living space. How the cleaning service does not notice this is confusing. The towels in the bathrooms are literally rags, all mixed matched, some with holes and super thin. Just a bit odd when you need 4 towels to dry off. The kitchen did not have a decent quality or array of items needed. The dishwasher had a rubber band holding the utensil tray on. The fireplace/living room was why we choose this location so that was as expected. The lingering Christmas decorations were a bit odd but with the overall quality of the property, it makes me think the property is just not either rented often or maintained. And last but not least, while we stayed for 2 nights, keep in mind we were out and about all day, a critter chewed all the wiring in our engine. It definitely was at this cabin since our engine light went on when we were departing on our last day. We assumed it was a faulty sensor since my car is new but as it turns out, $1,067 later, something ate through our engine while it was parked at the unit. And, that $1,067 may not fix it. If it doesn't work, the dealership told me they would need to replace this entire section. I did not bother to ask how much that was going to be. There are signs all over reminding you to not feed critters and you can not use their city issued trash receptacles. They want you to take the trash with you to this local dump which for this cabin, was in a convenient location. Not a big deal they want you to take the trash, but I am assuming the critter issue is a much bigger problem. We also opted to have the trip insurance just in case of weather. Although they cover a wide array of random things, the one thing they have listed as being not covered is.......VERMIN. I notified the management and they responded with a we will look into it. Take pictures of the cabin when you arrive and when you leave. The condition of the cabin was OK and i had no major issues during my stay. My problems started two days after i got home. I received a request from the booking agent for $500! The message read: 'Thank you for taking care of the deck repair. Michelle' I responded immediately asking what had happened and that i was unaware of any issues while renting. I feel like this type of communication was rude and absolutely presumptuous that i caused the damage. You see, i went to Big Bear when everything was covered in snow. It had been covered for the last weeks from a previous snowfall, and the snow had not melted yet. When i arrived at my cabin, it was completely covered - including the deck. We were not able to use the deck for this reason. Obviously the rental company did not shovel the snow in between renters. There was no further response from her and she escalated the issue to the AirBnb team. There was no dialogue or attempt to speak with me regarding this, which I believe would have deescalated the situation because i attached a picture clearly showing that the deck was covered in snow/ice. It did not snow while we were there - this was obviously from previous snowfall. The damage pictures she sent looked like a burn marks on the deck. Those burn mark pictures were soaked in snow melt and ice. Obviously this could not have been done by me i my picture shows the deck covered in snow. Till today, after escalating the issue the rental company has not followed up with myself or AirBnb. It is unprofessional and unnecessary to work with your customers this way. This company turned my great vacation into anxiety when i came home. I would never rent with them again. Be professional, do you diligence and don't accuse your renters of damage because you don't adequately check your properties in between rentals. -Renee
