Great Meat Market Lots of choices…read more I did come for a sandwich. NO SANDWICHES anymore just a meat shop

I've gotten the Korean style short ribs at $4.99 a pound. It was delicious! Great meat to fat ratio. I've found that sometimes those cuts can be too fatty or that amount of meat can be uneven from one side to another. Not the case with the purchase I made here. Just marinaded it with some Korean BBQ sauce and threw it on the grill...nom nom nom! Their polish dogs are super yummy! Great snap to the casing and great flavor! I slathered it with some Dijon mustard and ate it with a super soft hoagie roll. I just bought their beef hotdogs, will update the review when I try those. So I've been craving a good, solid sandwich around here. From R&Ds to Luigi's...THIS place makes a better sandwich. I've had the Italian and the tri tip sandwich, both on a French roll. Soooooo goood!!! The bread had a good chewy exterior and a soft pillowy interior. The flavors of both sandwiches were perfect! Get the habanero jack on the tri tip with BBQ sauce, that's a yummy cheese. The sandwiches were a little pricey ($7.99 and $8.99), but are still worth it to me. They don't have many other specialty sandwiches, but can make some basic sandwiches if you prefer (ham, turkey, roast beef, etc). Oh and the service there is great. People were friendly and helpful. They answered all our questions and even recommended things for us to try for our next visit. I'll be back to try their enchiladas. They were $3.99 for some fatty ones. Also can't wait to try their in-house made bratwursts.

As a housewife who does all the grocery shopping and a former child who grew up watching The Price…read moreis Right, I have a good grasp on what items cost. I visited this location as someone who doesn't live in the area and was shocked to see that the prices are way higher than regular Costco and are equal to or sometimes even a dollar or two more than just buying the exact product at Walmart or Fred Meyer. For the price of 1 loaf of Franz gluten-free bread, $7.79 for less than a dollar more I could go to Costco and get 2 loaves of Canyon Bakehouse gluten-free bread. 14 oz Tajin is $7.99. I can buy the exact same size from Walmart for $6.98. Here, 19 oz Mae Ploy canned coconut cream is $3.49 a can. Walmart online sells it individually and as a 6 pack for $2.58 per can. $3.59 for American Beauty 8 oz manicotti shells here. It's $3.49 at Fred Meyer in Medford. 16 ounces of jumbo Campfire marshmallows here are $3.39 whereas 16 oz Kraft Jet Puffed marshmallows are $2.99 at Fred Meyer in Medford. $8.69 for 24 Flav-R-Pac frozen corn cobettes or $2 for 6 Great Value frozen corn cobettes at Walmart. $14.19 for 2.125 lbs dried hash brown shreds here. Same size at Costco is $8.99. Costco sells in-store and ships #10 sized canned products so I'm confused why people are shopping here when the prices aren't wholesale, they're often slightly higher than retail at the local Fred Meyer and Walmart. There aren't many specialty products here for varied diets or cuisines, so if you're needing gluten-free or something more diverse than soy sauce or tortillas, you're going to need to order from elsewhere. I ended up buying a box of True Lemon (they didn't have the True Lime I came for.) Visited October 2024.
