A variety of vegetables that compliment the specific dish would add interest and subtle texture and flavor. Broccoli? Lemongrass? Everything is expensive now due to the trump administration- and people simply can't afford to eat out as much or at all. When a dish is presented miserly, it becomes an easy to decision not to eat out. Also, the dishes are a bit overly salted. Thai food has such an abundance of spice to make it unique, over salting is a rookie move. The staff we have encountered seem mostly professional and friendly, however, lately staff seem disinterested, bored and we were surprised and disappointed to see two staff members, eating at the front register while people came in for take-out orders. Surely a health code violation to be eating while handling customer food orders and money at the cashier station. Big turn-off for us. Slaw is also unique but needed for some freshness. Okra was a bit greasy and could have been a bit crisper, but if you like okra, you won't be disappointed. They got some cool merch too. As nearly zero level spice tolerance, I was a little nervous to even go with the mild level. We got the Zinger basket with the coleslaw and the sidewinder fries. The fries were really good! If I were to order again, I'd go with the mac and cheese instead of the coleslaw, but it was super hot out and didn't seem like two hot sides + hot chicken was a good idea. The chicken was hot, that's my opinion. It was hot even at mild. I might have baby taste buds, but I was thankful the fountain drinks were self serve because I needed the cold soda and ice cubes. It was well cooked though and flavorful. I was bummed they were sold out of the pudding because that would have been a nice relief. I should've done the no spice but tried to be brave, a "when in Rome" situation. There were people sitting behind us that eating the hottest level they had and I was convinced they were seconds from combustion. It was much denser than last visit and honestly lacked some flavor, but the garlic naan I've had before wasn't much different so I opted for the lower price point. All in all, it's hard to complain. The family does a really good job ensuring patrons are satisfied, which is key. The prices have increased about 25-30% since they opened and I feel like the portions shrank a tad, but considering I'm one person and I always order two entrees, I always have left overs. I ordered the Fruit Tea Madness with boba. It was my first time here, and I was surprised that the fruit tea actually had a strong tea flavor instead of just tasting like sweet juice, and it came with plenty of fruit. Unfortunately, the boba was too chewy and seemed a bit old. The shop is spacious and has a few cute statues, along with a good-sized artificial tree toward the back of the store. I haven't been to any other Boba Cucue locations, so I'm not sure if they all have the same menu. One thing I found interesting is that this location offers more than just drinks. They also serve ice cream, Waffle Pops, and Hong Kong-style dim sum. We didn't try any of those this time, but it was nice to see the variety on the menu. I try, I review, and I might come back to try the Waffle Pop.

One word.."wow!" The smash burger was hands down amazing! They make the patties fresh on site and the fries were perfectly fried. The place had a hole in the wall feel but a very cool vibe to it...so the feel was very laid back and cool. I would highly recommend checking them out!
