Yummy pasta! My kids loved it, my pasta was delicious service was great, they were kind, place is small but clean!

Sigh I actually wanted to like this place. It was a Sunday night and I had a cardio session and was pretty hungry to eat something for dinner. Wow Spaghetti has been on my radar for awhile so I decided to drive over here and give it a try. I went with their house special pink spaghetti with shrimp and all the other toppings. I used a yelp check in and got free garlic bread. I was the only walk in at that time and they had a few pick up orders. They cooked my food fresh so it did take over 10 minutes to get it. The workers were super friendly, inviting, and the place was clean. Afterwards I picked up some boba tea and then drove home, so I really didn't get to the food until an hour later. When I opened my food it was adorned with tortilla chips, something I didn't see from the pictures online. Not sure why I got the tortilla chips, something new that they are doing? Regardless, the chips were so soggy from sitting in the food, so that was not good. As for the spaghetti itself, it wasn't memorable. The sauce was so dense by the time I got to the food that I barely ate even half of it. I honestly just munched on the shrimp and ate maybe 3 fork full of the spaghetti and tossed the rest. With the limited menu and their house special spaghetti not being so great, I won't be back. Maybe it was an off day for them, but I would say give this place a try to see for yourself and maybe eat the food on the spot. read more

I really enjoyed the Bulgogi Creamy Pasta with Pappardelle. You get to choose the type of pasta and choose Pappardelle. It was very delicious. Added on spinach and mushrooms to the pasta for $1. The bulgogi was sweet but perfect combination with the pasta flavors. The Wow Spaghetti was okay not so wow for me. It did come with a sandwich where you can stuff the sandwich with the spaghetti. Great service from the cashier. Ambiance is a small and pop shop. Ordered and they make your pasta individually the way you customize it. Definitely will go back to try all the creamy pasta. read more

Wow Spaghetti used to be a donut shop called Rainbow Donuts back in 2014 or so. I remember this because that donut shop was my go-to spot to grab a quick ham & cheese croissant before heading to work a few blocks down the street. Not quite sure when it was replaced by Wow Spaghetti, but anyways...we're here to write a review about this new establishment, so I must refrain from going off tangents and stick to the program!! :-P I feel like it's a gamble to eat at a new food establishment like this because it's usually a hit or miss. However, my first time here was an absolute hit! I decided to check out Wow Spaghetti after work today because I was craving some pasta (ahh, carbs are my weakness). My first time here I went with the Spicy Chili Garlic Noodles w/dumplings and it didn't disappoint. This was vegan, deliciously spicy, and FULL of flavor! If you are someone with zero tolerance to spicy foods, I'd definitely opt out of ordering this because it's a bit spicy NGL! The spice level starts from 8 to 10 (8 being mild and 10 being the spiciest). Even though I'm a spicy food lover, I chose spice level 8 for my first time trying it hehehe. Overall, I give this food establishment 4 stars. It might not be high quality pasta that you order from restaurants like Spaghettini or Capones, but it's decent for being a fast food type of establishment. Delicious pasta and good price for the portion size! I originally assumed that it was a small to-go place, but the interior has a decent amount of seating and a self-serve condiments and drinks bar. Everything was kept clean and tidy. Service was welcoming and friendly, and the food came out quickly. We ordered 3 of the 10 top pastas: 1. Bulgogi Pasta (spaghetti; added mushroom & spinach): 5/5 -- everything was well cooked and seasoned; generous with the bulgogi 2. Creamy Dreamy with Shrimp (pappardelle; added mushroom): 4/5 -- starchiness from thick pappardelle absorbed all moisture = dry dish 3. Creamy Dreamy with Bacon (fettuccine): 4.5/5 -- a much better pasta choice; could use more bacon You can also DIY your pasta bowl, choosing 1 of the 9 sauces, 1 of the 3 pasta, proteins, and vegetables! Finally stopped by late last week for lunch after hearing recommendations from friends and I was not disappointed by this unique pasta shop! Great service here and everything is made to order. Staff are friendly and helpful with any questions I had and the interior is clean with plenty of sunlight coming through the windows and there are tables all around for seating. I got the spicy chili garlic wontons with Pappardelle and a garlic bread on the side. The pasta was delicious and the pappardelle was cooked al dente and the spicy chili garlic stuck to the pasta well and had a great kick of heat. The wontons paired well in the pasta and was a unique and tasty combination. The garlic bread was decent and dipping it into the sauce was good. Overall, I had a great meal here and if you are looking for something unique to eat at, I highly recommend dropping by Wow Spaghetti! read more

I got the WOW spaghetti, HOT with black pepper. And I WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED. Great portion size. Ciabatta garlic bread!!!!! My girl got the rosé mild with shrimp. I almost cried when I went after her sauce with a bit of bread. Dreamy! They've also got Korean street corn dogs. On my Granny, I'm coming back!!! Very good! Details.. .. Drove by this place a few times & it kept coming up on my Yelp searches, so I decided to give it a try for lunch. .. I ordered the WOW Spaghetti w. 2 meatballs & topped it w. cheese, pepper, & parsley. prOs.. .. There were plenty of parking spots both when I arrived & when I was leaving. .. Service was great. I was greeted right when I walked in. .. The restaurant it self was very clean & the drinks/condiments/utensils station was kept very orderly. .. My food was freshly prepared & came out within a few minutes. .. I actually drove it back to work to enjoy & it was still piping hot. .. The rose like sauce was very flavorful & the meatball was perfectly cooked; not dry at all. .. The portion size was very hearty & filling. .. I got medium spice level & it was the perfect amount as the spice builds while you're eating. cOns.. .. The noodles were a smidge overcooked for my personal preference. .. WOW! We just visited for a second time and it was packed and we waited for a good 20 minutes because we didn't call ahead and they cook to order. Amazing and worthy of a wait. Everything is prepared right behind the counter one order at a time and it's very friendly and inviting to watch. The store is small and has some outside seating but we live close and to go is the way to go for us. It is a place that deserves a sit down because the food is big restaurant quality. Bolongnrse with meatballs is excellent. Chicken fettuccine with cream sauce is excellent. Both great representations. Today more Bolognese with meatballs and the Bulgogi with garlic chili spaghetti noodles. My new favorite. My goodness this is good. I got the medium spicy and hot or hotter next time. Very nice burn. Maybe the WOW!! spicy. We waited so long the gentleman had my daughters wait and gave them a surprise for the long wait. Very nice gesture and we are definitely returning. Thank you WOW! for reminding us that patience is a virtue especially because I remember the rush and pressure to deliver good food as fast as possible because good food takes time. While I was sad to see the old donut shop close at this exact location, I was happy to give this new business a try. The parking situation is fairly easy with their own parking lot. They've made some adjustments to their menu and here's what I've had so far: Bolognese - They seem to have removed this from the menu since then, but it was pretty good. The red tomato sauce was on the sweeter side but it paired well with the savory meat. I suspect the meatballs would be similar! Great chew on the noodles. Spicy Chili Garlic with Mini Wontons- Pretty tasty! The wontons were good too. I like that they have spice levels! Pasta aside, I would probably come back just for the korean mochi corndogs. The mochi batter gives the corndogs an interesting chew. From there, it's really up to preference. I liked the potato crust, but not the ramen. I'll also skip the sugar. read more

Good service.. I tried the spaghetti and the creamy dreamy.. The spaghetti 9 out of 10, the pasta is perfect. I'm an Angel hair girlie, but I enjoy the large airy pasta they offer. They have other pasta you can choose from btw. The creamy dreamy needs more sauce, also there's a hint of nutmeg which I don't like at all, despite that it's still good. I tried it once and was absolutly hooked. I love this place and the food is wonderful. The girls who work there are amazing. They are so friendly and helpful. I come here at least once a week. 2 weeks ago I took some of this food to my daughters for a football day. Her husband liked it so much he has come here and sent her twice since then to pick up food. They live in Irvine Great Park so it is quite a little jaunt for them to come. Love the sweet garlic soy sauce and the creamy dreamy. Mix them together for a real treat. Corn dogs are a must also. Their menu items all seem enticing. I wanted to order multiple noodle dishes, but unfortunately I don't have the stomach of a champion. I got the chili garlic butter spaghetti with wontons; it looked so good in the pictures! I was going to get it mild but was informed it is set to medium by default. I think they do have an option to change the spice level but it probably involved manual labor so I said it's fine. To my surprise, the dish was actually quite spicy but you know some dishes taste better the spicier it gets, this was it. There are whole garlic pieces which seem pickled and lightly cooked; there still is a raw texture when you bite into it. Garlic lovers rejoice. Yellow peppers were spicy and I could not further test my limits so I did not finish that. Overall, quite satisfied and will definitely visit again to try other dishes. Easy to order in person or on the app. I got the house spaghetti Bolognese which is I normally would use as my baseline to try new pasta places and it had now become one of my favorites on the menu. It's in the name. What looks like a little dingy fast food spot is actually a sorta fast food pasta joint. You get a whole lot of pasta for reasonable prices. Go for the rose cream and chicken, that's gonna be the best value and flavor. You'll get a healthy helping of chicken. I got curry and meatballs and it was decent at best, also, I only got 2 meatballs what. So beyond that, this is a no nonsense pasta shop that looks like it's run by 2 very sweet korean men. Today was the day i had time to stop by after work. First impressions- i was immediately greeted by the staff. I like the atmosphere. Staff are very friendly to everyone. I ordered the half and half mochi hot dog with potatoes all around. Can i just say this was sooo delicious. It was super chewy not too doughy . As someone who loves pasta, I was excited to see a new fast casual style restaurant. Sometimes you want a nice bowl of pasta without having to sit down at a restaurant or make it yourself at home. Contrary to their name, I unfortunately was not wowed by what I tried. I understand that they have just opened so I hope they take the time to improve so they can live up to their potential. I ordered the half and half corn dog with the hot Cheetos add on, spicy chili garlic wonton noodle, and the creamy dreamy with shrimp. The corn dog was the only thing I enjoyed. The batter was light and crispy with the cheese nicely melted. The hot dog part itself was okay and didn't taste like the best quality hot dog you can get. For $5, this wasn't bad. The part that fell flat was the hot Cheetos option. Serving it in a bag is fun but a complete gimmick. They literally just stuck the regular corn dog in a bag of crushed hot Cheetos. The Cheetos weren't crushed fine enough so it didn't stick to the corn dog. This could be improved on if they blended the hot Cheetos in a food processor so it becomes a fine powder. They should coat the entirety of the corn dog in the powder (like they do at other Korean corn dog places) and still serve it in the bag with some more crushed up Cheetos in the bag. I would also like to see some housemade sauces for the corn dogs besides ketchup and mustard. I was disappointed by both noodle dishes. The noodles I see are made in house but the rest of the components are lackluster and not fresh. The "creamy dreamy" sauce is basically alfredo but a watered down version of it. It was very watery which led to a bland creamy sauce with no flavor or depth. I don't expect much from a cream sauce but it should be seasoned well or it just tastes like noodles cooked in heavy cream. The shrimp was tiny and definitely frozen. For $15 I would hope they used fresh or decently sized shrimp. The chili garlic wonton noodles were nothing special. It definitely had a kick at a medium spice level. The wontons were not good and tasted exactly like the frozen wontons you buy in bulk at Costco. The flavor profile just tasted like chili oil with a bit of sweetness. Needs a bit more balance of sweet, savory, and acidity so that it doesn't get so heavy. I was hoping for a lot better as someone who craves pasta often. I hope my constructive feedback can be used to improve their recipes and would love to give them another chance in the future. read more

WOW Spaghetti has potential. I've been here twice now and tried most things on the menu. My favorite item is the Cream Dreamy Chicken which is loaded with chicken so that is a big plus. The creaminess of the white sauce is a classic done just right and their pasta has a nice soft chewiness to it. This is something I wouldn't mind getting once a week because it hits the craving spot at a fair price. My only con was adding meatballs ($3 extra) because I wanted more protein. The meatball is about 2" wide and it's a pair for the $3 so $1.50 each. I don't think it is worth it for that price IMO. Spicy Chili Garlic With Mini Wontons - This was pretty good. It is definitely spicy as is so I caution anyone wanting to make it more spicy if you are not a super spicy eater. Maybe try it as is first then come back and get a higher heat next time. Love the amount of garlic they add in, I wish it was slightly saucier and not as dry- maybe some vinegar or something mixed in will give it a more balanced taste to combat the high heat. Just a preference. Spaghetti With Meatballs - I am not a fan of spaghetti but I figure why not try it at a place that literally has it in their name, maybe it'll convert me? Although it tasted pretty decent- I am still not a spaghetti person. I prefer creamier sauce than tomatoe-y tarty sauce. This was rendered in meat sauce and topped off with 2 meatballs. Sausage Mochi Dog - This was alright. Kinda wish they had more sauce options instead of just ketchup and mustard packets. Other Korean corn dog places have special sauces they mix and that is what makes it unique is the assortment of dipping sauces. The mochi dog itself didn't really stand out and it was a lot skinnier than most other places so there's that. Like I mentioned at the start of this review- this place has potential. Would be nice to see them expand their menu and offerings a little bit more and introduce some unique dipping sauces. Overall- I am a fan so far and will be back. read more

Always drive by this place but hesitated because it did not appear to be a traditional Italian pasta place. And it wasn't. It's Korean influenced so there are bulgogi and Kim chi sides. i had pasta with a meat sauce which was tasty but extremely greasy. They have Korean corn dogs which looked great. It would be truly difficult to get pasta for $13 nowadays, let alone pasta as good as this. I really appreciate how you can add spinach for only $1 (which results in a hefty amount of spinach addition.) Makes it easier to make the meal reasonably healthy. Pro tip: get pizza bagels. They absolutely left me wow-ed! If you ask me, there is definitely a lack of take-out pasta concepts. Wow Spaghetti is serving up just that, but with a spicy fusion twist! With Bulgogi Pasta and Wontons on their menu, I wouldn't say that what they serve is Italian by any means. I went with their signature Wow Spaghetti with bacon which features a Rosé sauce (creamy tomato base). Love that you can adjust for spice level and customize with tons of different toppings. Food used to be good here until they switch the meats the bulgogi beef used to be delicious but now its grounded beef and its not the same. I used to eat this place everyday now I dont even go back. But the staff are really cool there. They definitely got to bring back the quality meat or else this place is not going to last. I dont recommend it anymore. read more

Casual dining, good service, has its own parking lot. Had a great experience with this fast food pasta. Portions are pretty hefty. You can choose 3 pasta shapes pappardelle, fettuccini, spaghetti. I chose mild spice, it was just right for the spaghetti and creamy dreamy flavors. Sauces are tasty, appropriate ratio to pasta, noodles are a good texture. I loved this pasta experience without need for a fancy Italian restaurant ambiance. Prices are very reasonable for the amount you get! I could only eat half a bowl in one sitting!
