New customer of 4 months with maybe one week that was not screwed up!!!! No service, interrupted service, old companion boxes that needed to be replaced upon initial installation and had to be replaced 3 mo after being installed, no picture or sound on living room TV no pic or sound in bedroom TV. Given every darn premium channel to made me happy (ha). Cannot see those when everything is down. Caller ID lost when replacement box was installed. Took a week to get fixed and then had 7 (yes 7) calls from Comcast to see if it was to my satisfaction? Are you kidding me?? Comcast is nothing but crap!!!!!!! I want out of my 2 yr "contract" to pursue anyone but them! I beg everyone not to go with Comcast. They are nothing but idiots!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have each and every screw up documented on my calendar and would be happy to share with anyone. I am paying for NOTHING! You should have seen the 1st tech who came to install my TV, Internet and phone. He was either drunk, on drugs, or mentally ill. I was so afraid I called my neighbor to come over while he searched every room in my condo look for the installation cable?? I ordered him out of my house and my neighbor stood by me. 2nd tech they sent at least knew what he was doing. I have just had it! OMG! Never get involved with this company! Their representatives will lie to your face. We told them we needed cable service for some months until we would be moving in several months. We were reluctant to sign the contract since it was for a one year contract. Like fools we believed the Comcast people on the phone when they told us we would be released from the contract if Comcast did not offer service at the new location we would be moving to. Turns out no Comcast service is offered at our new location. You guessed it. They will not release us from the additional 10 months on the contract. They lied to us and their management explained that Comcast cannot be held responsible for what their employees tell customers. The only thing that matters is what they tricked us into signing. I cannot tell you how poor this customer service is and what an awful experience it has been to do business with this company. We have never encountered anything like it. As of 9/24, still no service. Called HQ in Philadelphia (215) 286-1700 and said they would have a manager in contact by noon tomorrow. I have signed up with AT&T and thus far their internet is great over the phone line (to run internet TV since our cable is out again). We have been waiting since Mid May to have our service fixed (It is now August). We have been an existing customer since the 80's and our line from the street was degrading. Our service kept on coming and going... a service rep would come out and fix it and then go out several hours later. Finally the decided the line was old and needed to replaced. 45 days later, we finally got someone to come out and dig the line. Now I am on hold once again trying to get a new line run inside our home. We are in temporary housing and thought that comcast would be the easiest solution for Cable Tv & internet. As soon as we get our new place, back to DirectTV where there is good service and I guess someone else for our internet. The WORST service ever. save your sanity read more

I don't know what everyone is complaining about. Ive had comcast Internet only for 2 years and its been great. I stream multiple movies simultaneously in my theatre, on tv and for the baby on the computer without issue. I stream ultrahd on vudu, netflix, hulu all the time and never have a problem. Setting up the first time with my own modem was giving me some problems, but i made one call and they walked me through resetting the router. Most problems people have are due to having cheap wifi routers and dont understand how important it is to locate their modem at the incoming connection to the home. Mine is hooked up right at the connection in the basement with gigabit ethernet running to a high quality wifi router centrally located in the home. I also scanned wifi channels to keep interference from neighbors low. I regularly test and get the full 60mbs download speed at all times of day. read more

I have never had a more horrible experience than dealing with comcast. They send you from department to department most of the time your call is dropped during the transfer so you have to start over. I spoke to 8 people in the last two days to figure out why my box wasnt working. It turns out comcast deactivated one of our boxes when I had called about a billing issue. After speaking to all 8 people the last person I spoke to says the box is flagged as missing. The rep tells me I need to bring the box in and get a new one. This company is so poorly run its unbelievable. I logged the amount of time I spent on the phone about this one issue. I m up to 3 hours and its still not resolved. This experience has been extremely frustrating! In my quest to find an internet provider better than Verizon, I decided to give Xfinity a try, enticed by their advertisements promising exceptional service and seamless Wi-Fi access throughout my home. However, the reality has been a far cry from those claims. The internet quality has been dismal, forcing me to trek down to the lower level of my house just to establish a connection. The signal upstairs is perpetually weak, making everyday tasks cumbersome. To add insult to injury, I've noticed that they sneak in extra charges, as if they think I won't pay attention. Based on this experience, I wholeheartedly advise against Xfinity; Verizon remains my top recommendation. read more

I did and they contacted chumpcast with in 3 days. then I get the call from top tier customer service acting that I am the only one that is having this crap internet speed problem. but the best is they have 30 days and the have to report to the FCC. this is going to fun. Well The switch to Comcast ended up being a nightmare. Customer service is terrible and we were paying for a service that we never got and was never resolved. I was one the phone with customer service every month about my bill and each time the previous associate never noted my concerns so I had to explain to someone new the same thing over and over. I was told I would get callbacks and never did. After months of this frustration we decided to switch to dish network and so far so good! read more
