Don't do it. They have screwed us over for the last time. They kept service at our old apartment for almost a year. After repeated calls and changes of address that just evaporated as soon as the phone call was hung up. Then they demanded we pay for both locations we were lucky we had it on record and had recorded that we tried to transform the service and shut the old service off. They also over charge by insane amounts. I went Verizon home 5g got twice the speeds, no contract, all equipment included... For 30 dollars a month less... Oh and when we turned in our box the woman here was super rude. Connected us to guy on a camera, that we couldn't hear, because the speakers messed up. Puyallup WA. store: I'm old, a disabled vet, tech challenged, and get stressed easily by having to repeat myself or discuss tech issues. I explained all this in front of the staff before we started. We've been getting screwed on our bill for months (it doubled to $450!) since they dropped our old package. My wife was brought to tears trying to navigate the online apps to select a new plan. Every time she'd get it set up and try to activate the final total it would add an additional $100+ to the final bill. I Explained this to the staff at the store and received no explanation. I was the only customer, with four clerks up front, the manager and another in back. I was being helped by a nice young man who was relatively new, and having difficulty navigating our internet needs plus a landline. The other staff seemed to be initially inconvenienced when asked for help by my clerk, and had to be torn away from a movie on one personal phone (loud enough to be heard), and scrolling on the other three. After 30 minutes of having to keep repeating wants, needs and desires and fumbling through options, which kept cancelling for some reason, it finally came time to close the deal. Sadly, this required a smart phone to verify the contract and sign, which I didn't have with me. The young man was unaware of an alternative, like a printed contract etc. and none of the other staff intervened (I have an uncontrollable stress reaction and my voice drops and tends to break up forcing me to talk louder: think RFK JR) until I was so frustrated I got up to leave. The manager finally walked out front and offered to bring the contract up on a pad. My clerk walked out in frustration. The deal was finally closed. Once I got home a few hours later, we now have internet and phone but no TV. I'm really frustrated, and now we can't talk to a human because everything is AI and the store is closed. There are no after hour human operators and the AI keeps asking for info that has already been stated (phone) or typed (online) and here comes the stress reaction........ OVERALL: We are in a somewhat phone and internet dead zone and to my knowledge this is the only cable provider available on our long private road. We've had four different contracts with Comcast/Xfinity over the last 7 years (a housefire, a rental, back to the original house, then our new home, and my parents house in Bremerton during covid). Every time we moved and turned in equipment it would take weeks or months before the billing was corrected and charges stopped for equipment and services for addresses we no longer lived at. Customer service: They try, but have no experience, or are apathetic about dealing with seniors and the non tech crowd, too much personal phone time (movies? Really?) on the floor and one personal conversation between staff in front of a customer that shouldn't have occurred. Was on the phone with Comcast till after midnight didn't resolved was to go into the store at 8:00 a.m. in the morning to pick up at HDMI cable I asked over and over again what time does the store open they said 8:00 I said on a sunday? They said yes on a Sunday I said are you sure and I repeated the address the information she gave me and she again resured me that they open at 8:00 . Well just for the heck of it I decided to Google it this morning after being woke up at 6:00 a.m. from their random phone call which I randomly hung up on them . And it tells me that it opens at 11:00 not 8:00 like she reassured me to tell me that is for sure the time it opens is 8:00 a.m. will clearly shows when you Google it that it doesn't open until 11:00 a.m. which makes sense since it's a Sunday I would have wasted my time and gas to go there and and I would have been human I already am irritated I hate Comcast it's always a problem with them incompetent employees don't care rude and always gives wrong information . And plus they don't listen you can repeat things over and over and over again and it's like they didn't even hear you say it . When is someone going to come along and get better service than Comcast give us more choices we're so overcharged by them it's unreal . I have to say Ben is absolutely amazing. I came in around 6-630pm and it was pretty busy, there were only 3 of them working; they were all helping people too. I came in thinking the charge on my account was for a wifi modem when it actually ended up being for some TV box he stated. When I walked in, I was instantly greeted by the gal Ben was working with and she checked me in with someone I had known that was working at the store. Unfortunately, I was hoping my trip would be very quick, I was not expecting it to be a long one as I had my dogs in my car. After waiting 5 minutes, I informed them I needed to leave because of my dogs and they instantly asked what I was presenting for. After explaining everything to them, Ben jumped in to help the gal after she was having some troubles and I was out of there within 2 minutes. Ben was able to fix the TV charge and remove it from the account since I had informed him I had no idea what TV box they were talking about since we always return everything we get from them if it's not in use. My household had to restart services with them twice, got our service cancelled (because previous tenants had a $6500 bill that went into collections) and tried to hold US responsible for it. Then they charged us over $100 AFTER we separated ways and re-established service with another carrier. 4 employees "assured us" we wouldn't be charged post-cancellation due to being in the 30 day guarantee window. A very bad Xfinity manager lurks about this store. He lied to me about my bill. And guess what? This store doesn't provide a phone number so I can't complain to this store about their bad, careless and disinterested service provided by one of its store managers! He's the one that doesn't wear a mask and doesn't social distance. He looks like hipster but he's a jerk and shouldn't be a manager. He should be stocking shelves after midnight instead of (mis-)handling customers in the daytime. This guy, a 6 foot in-shape young guy, leaned on the store counter and watched me make two trips to my car to bring in the equipment to close my Xfinity account. This store manager could have held the door open for me but instead he chose to watch me (a middle-aged woman) struggle with the door while carrying an armful of Xfinity equipment into the store. He watched me trying to open the Puyallup store door while talking about really cool stuff to another employee while leaning on the counter and observing my difficulties. Futher, when I paid the pro-rated bill to close my Xfinity account, this manager assured me the pro-rated final balance was paid and would "in a couple of hours" show a zero balance. FOUR DAYS LATER my closed account STILL shows a balance! I can't call him at this Puyallup Xfinity store to ask him, this hip, cool manager, why did he lie to me about my bill. Why can't I call him? Because Xfinity no longer makes store phone numbers public! WARNING: Stay away from this store. Go elsewhere and hope for better, more truthful service! Chris saved me from making a costly purchase and instead made me aware I had insurance and could rectify the problem in an affordable manner. To me, this spoke to his integrity because my purchase would have benefited his pocket, ideally. The store was not busy, in fact no customers were there. About six Xfinity employees were there chatting and standing about. One fellow walked over to see what we needed. Since I didn't need a phone the enthusiasm stopped there with him. He smug and unhelpful. He answered one of my questions and walked away. I flagged him down for another question which clearly he was annoyed about and he walks away again. Never once did he show concern or ask how he might be helpful. Canceled my services due to the following: 1. Slow internet speed 2. Over charges 3. poor customer service. They fooled me for the first year of my promotion. I was supposed to be getting 100MBPS for 85 dollars a month. but it never reached that limit it was always stuck around 55. Kept complaining and kept having technicians coming over and wasting my time. still never reached my goal. by the time they kept bullshitting me, my promotion was over and then they charged me for the 100mbps package. 140 dollars. EVERY TIME I CALLED: they would fix my bill and comfort me, but the online statements never changed and the mail bills never changed. I always had to pay my bill by phone through a service rep cause my bill was never right. They racked up my late fees and kept sending my emails and mail and phone calls from different reps saying i was not paying my bills. Couldn't stand it so i closed it out. saying they never gave me a 100 mbps and even when they charged me for a 100 after the promotion they still weren't giving me that service it was always stuck around 55-60. The only good thing is that I was military and I through it out there that my days consisted of working like a dog, coming home to my family, and calling you motherfuckers every week. read more

All I need to do is drop off my comcast equipment and GET A RECEIPT! That's it! There's no way to print a receipt at check-in!! This is ridiculous. I have now been on the list for 45 minutes. (There were only 13 people in front of me.) It seems like it would be faster to be able to print receipts at the check-in. I like the check-in process; however, every time a new service rep is available and they call a name it takes about 1 min. For the person to respond and get to the desk. While the rest of us watch thinking "hurry up and get you butt up there"! Although I did find it entertaining watching this man get all upset, throw his arms around, ask for the manager, etc.... [ lie ] try again the next morning and none of the channels come in. call again explain again im now 1.5 hours collectively to get told that they dont see that change on my account but for $50 plus [ not the original $20 ] i can get those channels. i argue that im already signed up for $20. no record of that. i go out to the store to talk to the guy that helped me. told it will be a 20 min wait about an hour and 40mins later i finally get helped and of course the guy isnt there and no one has any idea who that would have been that originally help / signed me up. Jon Maldonado manager at the Puyallup Xfinity office told me that my bill would be 69.99 and with one cable box and taxes the total bill would be $82. Then I received a bill and went round and round with Emh (yep that's his name) for a half hour on the phone. I asked to talk to a manager and was placed on hold for 15 minutes. Ivy then took the charge off for 1 year. This has happened every year I have ever dealt with Comcast/Infinity.
