Not so much this store in particular but this store has its issues as well, but Comcast Xfinity is horrible when it comes to services and telling customers the truth. I'm sick of bad customer service with Comcast Xfinity. I had a security service at my last address before moved to a new location and transferred service. The security service was no longer an option to be used and the service I had was no longer a package deal, and I was told by this store with the same guy last time that checked me out today (go figure) that I would have to pay them for the security equipment even though I've already paid for it. I'm responsible for equipment that I already paid off for a service that is even available anymore? That doesn't make sense. It's always something like this with Comcast. Wouldn't recommend services with Xfinity because they're constantly changing there services, bundles, packages, and your stuck with new charges and whatever tax excuse they come up with. Not too much I care for the up-charges because that's the constant with these guys, but more upset about repaying them after I was told that the "equipment is yours and when they come out with a new security service the equipment maybe be compatible or not". Tired of the unknowns and wrong information being passed to me. Never will I use Xfinity again if I can help it. read more

ALWAYS get a receipt from this location when you return items. I recently got a call from comcast that said my items were never returned. Because I had the proof I was able to prevent myself from having to pay fees. The funny thing is I was called paranoid by one of the employees for refusing to return my items with their drop off box and for asking for the receipt. (He didn't give me a receipt, I had to request it) Yup, being "paranoid" turned out to save my butt. I am so glad I didn't trust them. read more

Horrible i got lied to that i was saving money by getting TV on my package when in reality it actually made my bill $20 more expensive and i call to change it and take it off and they tell me i would be only changing my bill by $2 of i take off TV.....Horrible service too i always lose connection to things i also pay for 150mb but when i test connection i barely see 30mb and have to reset my wifi and yet they can't help me, TRASH company wouldn't ever go here again once my contract is up read more

Our service with other Xfinity/Comcast reps whether it be at a different location or over the phone or even online has always been great and I would give Comcast as a whole 5 stars. +++++NOTE: After reading previous reviews below I have the sneaking suspicion that the "Dylan" mentioned by another customer is also the man I'm talking about so sorry for the typo in the name but the guy who was very rude was a Dylan of sorts I just don't know how his name was spelled.++++ Our family had Cable-Phone and Internet as a bundle. My husband wanted to get rid of the cable, keep the phone and upgrade the internet. Our Comcast representative, Dillon I believe his name was gave my husband nothing but an absolute hard time about it. List of complaints about Dillon: 1) He didn't believe my husband when told that we were billed twice last month. "Are you sure?" he asked. Yes we are sure, isn't there some kind of computer system you have behind that desk to confirm instead of asking us are we sure? 2) He was in a obviously foul mood from the minute the conversation started meaning he had a bad attitude and a scowl on his face the whole time. 3) He raised his voice at my husband so much so that fellow customers and I were talking about it in the waiting area. Not only was he almost yelling at my husband but he kept interrupting my husband and cutting him off. 4) My husband, when asking about replacing our cable with a higher speed internet was told by Dillon it would be more expensive. Why? It's not a bundle deal said Dillon...it's cheaper if you get a bundle deal. But we are getting rid of the cable, how would it be more expensive? It just is says Dillon! Then Dillion goes on to belittle my husband loudly saying things like "You can't pay less for more!" "If you go to a grocery store, you can't ask for 3 gallons of milk and then demand to only pay for 1!" "You can't ask for more groceries and then pay less!" Well thanks for that lesson Captain Obvious, but here's a little news flash for you, my husband is not an idiot. He KNOWS you can't pay less for more but he's not asking for more, he's asking to get rid of his cable and get better internet instead. Those sarcastic comments went on a couple more times and my husband couldn't even stop him because Dillon is so verbose he cuts people off and yells over them. 5) My husband asked to speak to someone else beside Dillon and Dillon said "I'm not going to do that." The whole experience was embarrassing, demeaning and I'm actually very proud of my husband for not loosing his temper because if he had I couldn't blame him one bit. That Dillon character was a 1st rate prick. So we leave the store and my husband is fuming. At this point we call Comcast on the cell phone as we drive home (Blue tooth speaker, no worries, we don't talk on the cell and drive) and he was in the state of mind that he was just going to cut off ALL ties with Comcast permanently because our experience w/ Dillon at Fredrickson Comcast was so terrible. We were connected to a Comcast Representative on the phone named Toya and explained to her what we just went through in person and that is was so frustrating we want to drop all services. She assured us she would be of much more help to us than Dillon and asked us if she can try to get us the deal we were looking for. Not only was she very friendly the whole time but she listed ALL the options we have over the phone, ALL the different prices, what each option included. By the end of our conversation with Toya she had done exactly what we wanted. She got rid of our cable and upgraded our internet. End result is our bill went from $140 to $90 a month. THANK YOU SO MUCH TOYA! That's all we wanted was for someone to kindly help us find a way to lower our bill. I promised her I would put in a good word for her and I am going to do just that any way I can because we went from distressed customers to extremely happy customers within that one phone call. Toya's Comcast employee code is OAQ if that's of any help. She deserves some recognition of some sort and as for Dillon, we didn't leave any promises of a review for him but I'm feeling especially thoughtful today so any managers that read this review can consider this a review for Dillon as well. Our internet speed is painstakingly slow and our television channels just randomly black out. On top of this, the On Demand feature has a long list of negative performance issues that needs to be fixed, Shows available one week but not the next, playback freezes up and won't play, More commercials than when watching live, etc... So, we go to the office and they say, "Oh, you need a new box." ... "This will fix everything." ... "It's very simple to install--just plug it in and you're set!" In a pig's eye! We got the box delivered and the end result was that our existing box had 6 ports and six wires. The new box only had 3 ports. Where do the other wires go? Then, when the new box got set up, we had no color on any channel and half of our stations were gone! We ended up ripping out the "new and improved" box and re-installing the old box. Now we have all of the functions again. Today we get an email saying that since we got the "new and improved" box we are forced into another year-long contract. We got scammed by Comcast/Xfinity into a contract extension over a box that doesn't work! We then tried to contact them but there is no way of doing so! Their agents aren't available...or their busy trying to address all of the other scams that have backfired on them...or they try to divert your inquires to hundreds of blogs about issues that don't pertain to you. I can easily see why so many of my friends have switched to Dish! read more

Reason for going in: Our internet is spotty at best, and extremely slow when it is "working". Our channel was stuck on a bowling channel and we wanted to watch a football game. The channel being stuck problem has gone on for 3+ weeks with no resolve, although we had as service call scheduled 6 weeks in advance (mid) January. We just wanted to return our equipment and try another. That is what one of the 10 people we talked to on the phone prior to this said it could help. What happened when we got there: Showed up at 11:08 on Sunday morning, we were the 8th person in line. That is not promising that 8 people came in on a Sunday to deal with various problems with their service/ equipment. Nonetheless we came in and signed in at the door with our name and brief description of situation and took a seat. Grumbles of unhappiness and joking at the poor quality took place amongst the strangers as we waited. After about 40 minutes of this, we then noticed that the person below me was up for service. We went over to the service desk and asked where our turn was. He said you were already being helped at desk #7. (really? because I think I would know if we were being helped....) So i walked over to the service desk where a man was standing in front, and asked the customer's name. He did not say anything but the Xfinity employee said it was (our name) the man standing their acted confused like oh my name is John my mistake...I then questioned why he said he was our name and not his own. He said he was just confused (unlikely). The service rep said," he said he was your name and I started to help him." I then asked the Xfinity employee what checks are in place to just keep any snake from cutting in line. He said there were none. I asked how moving forward does he see the value in asking some questions to verify the person's identity? He said yes, then CONTINUED TO HELP THIS LINE CUTTING SNAKE!!! So we continued to wait while the line cutter was serviced. In that time I went around and told all the remaining patrons what "John" had done, and that they had better be careful because Xfinity has no accountability to their own system. How we were helped: We got new equipment, no reduction of our bill for services they did not provide for the previous month, got a bunch more movie rentals that we did not want. The equipment did not solve our problem and we are stuck on a channel that seems to show mostly bowling. Our internet is that of glacial speeds of dial up in the 90's. We hate them and their service, but hey maybe in another month a service tech will be able to figure it out. Note: They do not have any checks so feel free to cut inline, because even if the rightful person catches you and says anything, they wont do anything. (That's pending any resolve comes from their help) Good Luck!! Save yourself time, Don't bother with their service!! read more

We have come here multiple times through the years as it seems that one box will fail each year. We only have two. Once a year we are here... Today was no different. So last night I had to call customer support because all the lights on the box were flashing and no service. To make it short the box needed replaced. However i finally had to hang up on tech support because they were trying top upsell me. Well when i went into the store to replace their defective equipment again. Yeah, you guessed it let's give the same sell. Like i told the person last night and then, why would i want to spend more money on a service that requires nw to go out of my way each year because the equipment needs replaced. Also they periodically bump or boil up every couple months anyway so REALLY... The customer service rep in the store was rude and had a bad attitude. She stated "Every year you're supposed to bring in your equipment anyway to exchange it for the latest." What kind of company and service is this? When you, the customer, has to go out of your way because their service causes issues and when you have to they hound you to spend MORE money. I like having the fast internet and the TV is OK. I don't uh nderstand why with all thr technology there is when I dont want 500 chanel's you only show me the channels i paid for when i use the TV. Comcast / Xfinity is a bunch of cons and RIP offs but there is no real competition. It's a true Monopoly that will never change. I could go on forever. read more

They were prompt, respectful, courteous, and above all super fast! In and out in 7 minutes to get another HD box for my house. Will go back here for sure when I need to! Why on a Saturday would you have TWO people working. To be fair, there is another person at the front signing people in who is very polite, BUT all she does is greet people. Saturday's are people's days off. Get some reliable employees and minimize the wait. OR try streamlining services so people who just need to grab an HD box don't have to wait an hour. We just left, and couldn't be happier with the customer service. We cancelled our phone/fax and downgraded our cable package slightly ( I think we can get by without Starz!). Our bill was cut in half, almost to the dollar. Dylan was great, contrary to some of the other reviews. I want to give no stars but you have to give one to write a review Xfinity is all around garbage except the internet if it works. I have their home security system and it is the biggest waste of money i have ever spent in my life. So sensors malfunction all the time, and to get them to come out and fix it is like pulling teeth. They also forget to tell you that the system needs to be updated all the time and that a technician needs to come out to do it. I have had Xfinity for two years and have had them come out to my house 11 times for internet not working, cable, and the home security system not working. If I wasn't locked into a contract I would of got rid of this in the first week when they had to come out 4 times. Save your money better security systems out there for cheaper. Oh yea and when I first got the security system put in the technician told me not to get their cameras because they are garbage, he should of told me the whole system was. By the way the security system they have is delayed by 10 minutes so you're house really isn't protected because most robbers are in and out within 15 minutes at the most. read more

Terrible marketing practices. For example although the package I chose included a lot of channels don't be surprised when they tell you that you need to pay more if you want the HD channels in Bold print. As well, I had many days where the Internet service was down intermittently. Lastly I found that Customer service people really don't care about servicing or listening. Recommend looking at other options of lower cost and higher levels of service. Don't be discouraged as there are companies who do value your business you just have to look for them. Really, we all need to shop for the best price and service levels rather than committing to high prices and poor service!! read more

Bait and switch. Dishonest slimy tactics! I went in to simply exchange broken equipment. The rep told me there were lower rates for me due to outdated "codes" in their system. I left thinking it was a worthwhile trip. A week later I received a huge bill for phone activation. Guess what, we NEVER discussed that nor did I sign or agree to change phone service to them. Total lie. So I called Comcast. Two hours later a supervisor at a call center fixes it and PROMISES I will receive a call from the service center manager about their tactics and the dishonest employee who was trying to pad his commissions. 8 days later no call back. My next task, since Comcast does not want to honestly deal with this, is to file a complaint wth the BBB and the state regulatory agency read more

THE FOLLOWING REPRESENTS MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE AND OPINION: I subscribed to Xfinity's 3 Mbps internet svc.and received that speed ONLY after complaining about the systematic slowing of my service day after day for months. They would then speed up the equipment until the next day or two, then start progressive slowing each day. I have measured this using two different online speed testing programs. On one, I used the same server each time I tested. Even the router was changed for a new one. The slowing continued. Service tech came out but the svc. didn't speed up until over a half hour after he left....hmmmm ? Later in the day....slowing again. Next day...more slowing., and so on. I believe this is intentional in that I'm frequently offered faster service for more money by the same company. I don't play computer games and only occasionally watch Netflix. Lately however, email is about as good as it gets for me. I give up. Hey Xfinity: Cancel my service. Also cancel the upsell on the service that you offered free just before his visit. The local office personnel are only following their instructions. read more

Saw three people come in to pay bills, one with a handful of cash. Two turned around and left after seeing the crowd. Their express pay machines have signs on them to see a representative. Best service ever! I was a little hesitant to request service from Comcast after seeing all the negative reviews, but my local service was sporadic at best. So, I finally bit the bullet and cancelled my old local service and went to the Xfinity store in Puyallup. No lines, short wait for service (about three minutes) and Wendi was awesome. She explained the service, the great promotion and once I was signed up, she gave me clear instructions on how to hook the whole thing up when I got home. She took the time to answerall my questions, she was unfailingly courteous and I got a better deal from Comcast than what I was getting from the other service. Within an hour of getting back home, I was using my new WiFi. In three days, I have not been dropped once!. I couldn't be more pleased. Thanks Wendi! read more

I'd rate this service lower if I could. Don't waste your time. I ordered service, got a modem/router and account information in the mail a few days later, couldn't get it online, so then I called and TALKED TO 8 DIFFERENT PEOPLE having to explain my situation and confirm everything on my account each time before I was finally told they want me to go in in person. So I drive the 8 miles to the shop and find out all that b.s. on the phone was because of the last guy who had internet at my address not paying... and somehow they convince me to drive all the way home and back to get my lease and prove I live at the place.... and it's only after all of this that they tell me they now need a deposit. Um, excuse me? I could have had internet days ago if I had gone with a different company, and they were rude to me on the phone... kept asking if I was someone else over and over, and made me drive all that distance... they should be paying me $100 at this point. I just left. If it is this much drama to get service I don't even want to find out how much worse it gets when I'm stuck on a contract with crap service. F- business model.
