Scallop - pass. More like noodles with a baby scallop.

Can't wait to come back!! Everything was delicious and came out pretty quickly. You order through the tablet and can adjust the seasoning and spice level of each order. The potato and the chicken skin are must tries since u can't get them at many other places. Would pass on the scallop since it was mostly noodles with a baby scallop.

I've been to the Monterey Park location but never this one, looks like this one is more new! i came on a thur evening & it was super chill, more peaceful than the one in monterey park, which I preferred after a long day of work haha. Anyways, you just order your skewers from a tablet and it comes out super quickly, all the skewers were great, had a nice spicy flavor. My favs were the pork intestine, oyster mushroom, and lamb! All the skewers were tasty though! (5/5) Garlic enoki mushrooms were also so delish, love me some garlic! Service was super efficient, you can ring them in with the wall buttons and also the napkins hang off from the ceiling in a box which is pretty cool. Traditional yet silly decor throughout the restaurant! Overall had a nice time here and can always rely on this place for their efficiency.

We came to celebrate a girlfriend's bday. She loves to drink sake. This place hit the spot! Great food! A whole Bunch of different skewers from meats lamb, beef, chicken skin, pork intestine, corn, king mushroom, which can be ordered with original flavors, no spicy, or omit different spices. We got most with no spicy as not our whole party eats spicy food but asked for chili oil on the side. Sides of veggies: chives, eggplant, enoki mushroom. Drinks: sake, Sapporo on draft in a pitcher --win! Dessert: loved the fried taro balls!! Woooow! The cookies and cream shaved ice was also delicious! Great service! You order on the iPad and submit. Your dishes/drinks will come within minutes. Great ambiance! Felt like I was in China with their decor going back to the old Chinese movies I have watched with the alcohol bottles on the wall. There was live music by some Chinese entertainers both in Chinese and English songs. Very entertaining indeed!

Incredibly flavorful food, affordable prices and quick service. Once seated you place your order on the iPad and can customize the spice/heat per dish. Food & drinks show up quickly, you don't have to order everything at once and can continue to add items at ease since you're not dependent on flagging down a server. We loved everything we ate; Pork Belly skewers, cucumber salad, Enoki mushrooms & Surf Clam Skewers. We'll be back to try more items soon! Friday night there was a live singer belting out Y2K pop hits which often leads to crowd sing alongs. Good to know: napkins are hanging above each table (we had to ask where to locate them), large decorative receptacle on each table for your used skewer sticks.

I came here to celebrate my birthday since I was craving lamb skewers and wanted to give this place a try. First, the interior is very well decorated and makes you feel as though you've traveled to a very nice and clean tavern. I loved the punny signs on the walls and the overall aesthetic of the restaurant was beautiful. The food was alright. The skewers were tiny and have the tiniest amount of meat, which was disappointing. They were also very salty and the meat was tough. The stinky tofu dish was surprisingly the highlights of the night. I had never eaten stinky tofu before, but the stinky tofu was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. There was no overly strong smell and was very delightful. We ended up ordering this dish 3 times throughout the meal. The enoki mushrooms were good and had a great amount of garlic on it, but was also on the salty and oily side. The duck blood was perfectly cooked, but unfortunately, I cannot handle the numbing mala spice very well so I was not able to finish this dish. I'm not sure if I missed that there's mala spice in the description or if it is simply not written, but do be warned that it's spicy. The scallops were okay, nothing much to write home about. While I didn't order any alcohol, I did see that they have a pretty cool and large alcohol menu. The table next to us ordered the multiple mini shots that looked very fun to drink if you're looking for a night out with some friends. The main letdown of the night was the service unfortunately. The waiters were inattentive and were seen laughing and talking amongst one another while we kept waving, calling out to them, and pressed the buzzer. Even when we walked to the bar area, they did not notice my friend asking for a water refill until he almost went past the bar area trying get their attention. Our plates were never cleared until the end of the meal, and we order 24 items in total so we had a lot of dishes piling up. We were a group of 7 sitting right in front of the bar area and we could clearly see the waiters, but they were so engrossed in their conversations that it was very hard to get their attention every time we wanted to ask for anything. And because the food was quite salty, we did ask for the water pitcher to be refilled quite a few times. Overall, I don't know if I will be back since the service was an extreme letdown. The food was alright. I think the main star of this place is the interior decor and it might be cool to bring a friend to drink and catch up with here. I hope this place is able to improve their service and maybe make the food a little less salty, then hopefully this place will be more popular.

Second time back at this location since the soft opening, and it's a lot better now! It's pretty similar to Little Skewers in Monterey Park but way less crowded. We came for dinner on a Friday and only waited about five minutes for a table of eight -- not bad at all. The skewers were warm, flavorful, and much better than last time. Everything we ordered was delicious, and the overall vibe was great. They even had a live singer performing both English and Chinese songs, which added to the atmosphere. Service was quick too. Definitely coming back again -- closer to home and way less of a wait!

I really liked the decorations in this restaurant. It just has a fun vibe. When we came in the restaurant was mostly empty, service was fast and pretty hands off. There's a tablet at your table that you can order from. We got the lamb skewers, pork intestines and the chicken cartilage. The lamb skewers were fine but nothing to write home about - a little bit dry. Pork intestines and chicken cartilage were much better. And we also got a corn cheese that was really tasty. Overall, it's a nice spot just not really outstanding for the price.

Instagram : @yeapeats Great food! Nice to have the Monterey Park location closer. Not sure if the service deserves a basic 15% tip. Besides the skewers being brought out, everything else is self service. But will still be back

Went Tuesday night around 6:30pm and didn't have to wait for a table. Food came out quickly using the iPad ordering system. I ordered plenty of items for my brother and I, with our bill coming out to just over $100. Beef, Stinky tofu, chicken skin, oysters, scallops, beef aorta, duck blood, lamb soup mug, squid and matcha red bean snow dessert. The seasoning we got was regular, they also have options for no cumin and spicy. Regular was spicy enough and had good Sichuan chili flavor! The price for food items are reasonable but the meat on the skewers like the beef seemed anemic, where the beef?! My favorite dish was the juicy duck blood, smoother than pork blood and comes sliced in a nice tray hot enough to burn your mouth. They have plenty of drink options that would go well with Sichuan flavors but didn't opt for them and stick with water. Each table has a button to call for service which was useful to get the bill at the end. Parking was in lot shared with the Good Fortune Supermarket and other businesses.

A cute place for friends gathering. Themed and Interesting decor inside. We ordered directly from the ipad. Also can add orders as you go. We ordered one set each of lamb and beef for 4 people which is not enough and had to add more! The corn is a must try and fun to eat too! I would like to see more vegetables options. My friend who is a meat eater had to eat two skewers at same time since so tiny meat on each skewer. For me, amount of meat on each skewer is ok. Service is fast and friendly. For the second order, i thought it may take some time. But it actually came out pretty fast. Ample parking in the strip mall parking lot. There is a supermarket in the same plaza so parking spots in that corner could be limited.

Amazing food ! Great value ! Love their bogo beer deal. Cute gives extensive menu. Fun atmosphere and friendly service. Highly recommend ordering the cauliflower and the scallops and lamp skewer!

Little skewer is a great place for people that can eat a lot and like spicy grilled food. I personally think its a great place for friends gathering ... however its not a good place for couples on dates since its not intimate and the air temperature was on the warmer side. They have live performance on Friday night which was alrigjt... but it didn't captivate me with the voice. I think this is great for large groups of.people that really enjoy Chinese skewers.

Apparently this place is really popular in other cities like Monterey Park and El Monte, especially with younger crowds. We decided to give it a try after church since our son is a fan of their meat skewers. Service was quick and efficient, and the décor definitely leans into the Chinese street-food vibe--lots of drinking-related signs and quirky sayings like "Real Girl Eats Meat" and "Nice to Meat You." The BBQ skewers are small but tasty and a great value--20 lamb skewers for just $9! The spicy cucumber with peanuts was surprisingly good and refreshing, and I really enjoyed the grilled mushrooms. They also serve sweet tea drinks, which my son loved. it's a fun and casual spot to hang out. I heard they sometimes even have live music, which sounds like a good excuse to come back again.

UPDATE. We rescheduled our Vow Renewal from May-Dec, which seemed easy enough to do at first when…read morecommunicating with Chris, who was going to be onsite manager for our event. It proved more difficult when dealing with the owner Scott. I'll start by saying the end result was us rescheduling at the same rate that we booked & our event went well, however it wasn't without hiccups. When rescheduling, we were specifically instructed by Scott to cancel our booking in Peerspace & rebook the new date. That's when issues started. Before cancelling I mentioned how Peerspace won't refund our full amount & Scott replied that whatever isn't refunded will be credited toward the new date. That didn't happen without us constantly reaching out via text, email, & Peerspace. When you request a date on Peerspace it's pending review/approval from Blush, however it charges you immediately. Since we opted for the payment plan that required about half down & remainder later, we were waiting on our refund to book the new date. It never came. When we were finally able to have a phone call with Scott, I couldn't get one word in the entire time he was mansplaining the world of business. He was very patronizing & I swallowed my pride because we just wanted a resolve & to not lose the deposit. I asked very clearly whether he was going to uphold our agreement. He did, but under the condition that we pay the remainder of our balance upfront in good faith to them. We did & that was that. Thereafter, it was back & forth whether Chris would still be working our event which Scott said he was. Chris was the saving grace of Blush in our opinion. Customer service & how you treat people is king, so it put our hearts at ease. But not for long, since it was changed later to Jin. Getting Jin to respond was difficult. We requested a final walk through with our coordinator about a month before our event. Jin told us he wasn't feeling well & wasn't present for most of the walk through. So we asked questions via email instead. I specifically mentioned a clean facility is important to us. The place just wasn't as polished as we first saw it. He was responsive only after I'd send text follow ups. The week of, not at all. I was waiting on confirmation about our drink selection which I never got & we just hoped it would all work out the day of. Day of our coordinator arrived first. The bathrooms were clean but the bar, cocktail tables, mirror hallway, & front door were full of fingerprints and sticky as if not cleaned from a previous event. We were told there would be 2 staff & that they'd be able to help us move cocktail tables. We weren't aware one of those people would be Jin & he wasn't helpful at all. He completely ignored our coordinator & aunt, but jumped to help our DJ with the sound system. We can only conclude it's because our DJ is a man & as a same sex female couple that leaves such a bad taste in our mouths. Our coordinator & aunt ended up cleaning everything with the one rag & spray bottle he gave after we repeated asked. Coordinator, wife, son, & I moved the heavy tables/ottomans. The drinks didn't taste like our selections. But the worst part was that he started charging our guests upon arrival. My wife & I stepped away to change our clothes. We were there 1.5hrs before start time & Jin never approached us or our coordinator for our card. He also had our itinerary ahead of time and met our coordinator. FYI on top of booking fees, you're also required to use their bar service for ALL drinks alcohol/nonalcohol which is included info on Peerspace. We agreed we'd cover the required minimum of $2500 & once we reached that amount it would turn into a cash bar. Our guests approached us confused about the bar so my wife personally went to Jin & asked why people were being charged, to which he responded "I couldn't find you guys." They immediately include their tip, which we weren't aware of, so drinks totaled to about $2100 w/ the remainder being tax/tip. They continuously ran out of cups & had zero cups for the water dispensers. We were refilling used water bottles to give to the kids. My aunt & cousin were busing tables. Bartenders didn't care to stay quiet or hold drink orders during vows. Every video we have of our vows is them shaking drinks & slamming glassware. There were good things too, kinda. It wasn't communicated to us that the front bathroom was for staff only & we had a outfit change planned, so after first saying no, Jin ended up letting my wife & I use the front bathroom. Also him assisting our DJ resulted in the music going well. It's sadly overshadowed by all the other things that needed improvement. It comes down to a lack of customer service & professional decorum, because the venue itself is beautiful. We gave a final 3 STARS because everything came together. Those missing components are just so vital. A work day for them is literally someone else's most important day that they're choosing and paying to celebrate at Blush.
