    Per "Tammy's" review below, there is proof online from the USDOT carrier website that their operating license was "REVOKED" and hasn't been reinstated (see photos too). They also do not carry insurance anymore which they are required to do, obviously! It's all making sense why all of the customers CLAIMS calls/emails go unresponsive! How immorally corrupt can you get? Why would anyone trust their personal belongings with this corrupt company? They pretty much can do whatever with your stuff once it's picked up, charge you however much and if you never see it again, well, can't say you weren't warned. You have no legal protection. Wish we knew about all of this before the company we THOUGHT we were doing business ended up subcontracting us out to XO last minute. I would have been sick to my stomach if I saw so of this info while we waited over 1+ months for our things. Now if only we could get that claim check we submitted for all of the furniture they broke and destroyed. One can only dream.

    So far, our move with XO Movers has been a smooth one. Our crew of Victor, Ishmael, and Jovani were professional, courteous and hard working during one of hottest days in Northern California!!! They got everything out quickly and refused to let us help do anything! I asked if we would have the same crew in South Carolina to unload, but sadly they don't do long distance moves :( I have seen others who posted issues upon arrival, so I will definitely update this review when our things arrive on the East Coast. As for right now, we are extremely satisfied :)

    TL;DR: They were incredibly late, caused over $3k in damages to my bike alone (plus random furniture and picture damages), and tried to silence me. Yeah, don't ever use these guys. I'm still upset at the way they treated me and handled the situation. Before our stuff arrived, they tried proposing some sort of settlement agreement. They wanted to offer ~$650 for all the inconvenience they caused and any future damage (I'll attach the proposed settlement agreement). But along with this I was legally barred from posting any kind of review of my experience. This was just the beginning and we obviously declined because we hadn't even seen our stuff yet and this seemed like a legal get out of jail free card. Not only did our stuff arrived WAY past their guaranteed window, but they were so late they legally had to pay me a daily fee for every day they were past the LEGAL window (can't remember exactly how late, but I think it was around 4-6 days past the 30 day legal window). If that wasn't enough. My worst nightmare unfolded right in front of my eyes. When the truck finally arrived, they had no way to get the large motorcycle crate out. They had to call a local tow-truck to drag the wooden crate out of the bed of the truck. As they were dragging it out, I noticed the back door of the crate was wide open. My heart sank. I peeked in and my bike was lying on its side against the crate. When they finally got it off the cargo truck, then off the tow-truck. I was able to further look at the damages. First thing I noticed was it was not packed the same way it left. All of the cardboard 'protection' they had in there was gone and the bubble wrap was all over the place. (Photos attached) They broke my instrument housing causing the whole headlight, and instrument housing to be completely unhinged, they broke a turn signal at the housing level, but worse of all, they scratched the tail of my bike to hell. But, this was all mostly cosmetic damage (had it estimated at ~$1200 in damages) and I at least had my bike and could take it for a ride right? Yet again, I was wrong. Not only did they have me empty the fuel tank to prevent the bike from combusting in transit, but they apparently decided they wanted to disconnect my fuel sensor (probably ignorantly thinking it was a spark plug) and didn't tell me. About 5 minutes into my first ride, I notice my exhaust is getting VERY hot, so hot in fact, it was changing the whole exhaust brown. I turned around immediately, parked the bike in the garage and noticed the cores of my exhaust were golden brown. Disconnecting the fuel sensor caused the exhaust servo to malfunction causing irreversible damage to my exhaust. I ended up having to replace it completely costing me ~$1600. (I have attached the photos of the damages) This doesn't even cover the random furniture and pictures they broke. Stay away.

What I encountered was end-to-end excellence, from customer service to their excellent moving team. I knew our move would be a large one, so I booked a 26' truck and five-person crew. As the day of the move approached, I had lots of last-minute worries and questions and Sam, in Customer Service, answered every one and generally calmed my nerves, assuring me my move team would assist if we needed last-minute help. On the day of the move, the team arrived right on time. The foreman, Guillermo, assessed our situation and calmly confirmed my suspicious that we'd need two trucks (this my error, not OnTrack's). Before I could panic, he had contacted his team and we arranged that ours be a two day move. Guillermo's team wrapped our furniture and had the truck loaded swiftly. At the new house, we had a few of our family help direct traffic. I'd labelled every box with a color-coded room label and the team got everything to the proper room. On day two, Sammy -- part of the original crew -- acted as lead and we repeated the process. Here, a number of items still needed a bit of packing and his team had everything done in record time and -- bless them - marked the boxes for the proper room destinations without prompting. As I now unpack, I'm finding everything in excellent condition and couldn't be more grateful. We'd heard stories about moving nightmares and wanted to share a happy ending. Guillermo and Sammy were AMAZING and their crews were very hard working. Tips: my sister had a table of bottled waters, bags of chips, and other snacks ready for the team when we arrived at the new house. The team appeared grateful for the sustenance. We also tipped each person individually, in cash.

After researching and talking to close friends who used various companies, we decided to confirm with Careful Movers. They are not the cheapest, but they by far exceeded our expectations during our move. Starting with my inquiry, Mat, our Moving Consultant, was quick to respond and very patient in answering all my questions. Securing our moving date and processing our deposit were smooth processes. Leading up to our move date, Shenna called and emailed with reminders for any last-minute tasks and collected information so our moving team knew exactly what we needed on the date. On moving day, we had a crew of 3 movers: Enrique, Ismael, and Jose/Luis. They were punctual and arrived at our apartment right on time to get started on our move. After walking them through our apartment, discussing expectations, and signing the agreement, they went to work. This team was quick, and I mean QUICK, to disassemble and pack the truck. However, this does not mean they were sloppy by any means. Everything from our baby's furniture to our 75-inch TV was packed with the utmost care. Despite the rain, all of our belongings arrived safely at our new rental and were reassembled exactly as we asked. My husband and I are extremely happy with the services provided by this team and Careful Movers. We wouldn't hesitate to schedule with them again or refer them!

So I knew no matter how long the move took and with the long distances, I already knew how much the max cost would be up front with no surprises. And they also offer a discount based on the way you paid them. WINNING! And so, I didn't use Pure Moving just once, but three times this month. The first time, I had to move from Union City to a storage facility in Elk Grove and this past weekend we had two teams going, one from San Jose to Elk Grove and the other from the storage facility to our new home. Pure Moving was perfect in all ways possible. They were professional, prompt, efficient, and super friendly. They handled and wrapped items with care and made you feel at ease that everything was going to be safe and secure. They disassembled furniture as needed and reassembled it on site. One great detail, they laid down plastic protectors everywhere to keep things clean and tidy where they would be stepping. And cleaned up all the plastic wrap/coverings, cardboard and tape they used while packing and unpacking. They literally took care of all the heavy - and even the light - lifting!     We have used this moving company for multiple moves over the years, and they have been amazing…read moreevery single time! They first moved my husband, then helped us move into our first rental together, and most recently into our first purchased home three years later. My sister has also used them, which says a lot about how much we trust their team. From SF to San Jose to Santa Rosa, they travel wherever needed to get the job done! They are responsive, communicative, hardworking, and very reasonably priced. They also offer disposal services, which was incredibly helpful for getting rid of large items during our move. Every mover we've worked with has been friendly, professional, and hardworking, and the owner is just as kind and easy to work with. The only thing I'd mention is to be flexible with timing, as schedules can shift depending on their prior jobs and travel time. That never bothered us because they always communicated well and kept us updated if they were running behind. We would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable moving company. Mark got on a FaceTime call with me, answered all my questions, gave me a quote, and was responsive and easy to reach the whole time. No surprise charges or delays along the way.
