Our initial meet with this company was a bit rocky but they've done an amazing job ever since. We first bought our washer and dryer and had problems left and right. They finally fixed them and we've been fine for the last 3 years... until last Saturday something went weird for our dyer. We had no idea what it was but it sounded like a shoe was bumping around inside. We took it down, took it apart and couldn't find anything wrong with it. After giving Carlos and his crew a call, the earliest available appointment that fit both schedules was today (Friday 9/12) They showed up on time and got right to work. Embarrassing to myself, turned out a pair of my panties and 2 socks had gotten caught in the motor. They took it all out, handed it over, put everything back together, stacked the dryer back on top, checked to make sure everything worked smooth including the washer and that was it. Great job! 1st impression/trip: Went to the store during posted business hours, but had to wait for them to open due to an errand of the sale's woman's. 2nd trip: Disorganized warehouse 3rd trip: So they ask you to write a Yelp review so they can give you a discount for it, but they want you to write it while in the store!! THEN ultimately NOT given a discount for the review...waste of 10 minutes to login & enter on their phone. I was just trying to pay for a frig & I ended up being detained from work 1 hour & 1/2!!!! Other customers the reason you ask? Just 1 other one also just trying to pay for a W/D. She ended up leaving & said she will come back later to finish the transaction. I was wishing that I had that same option. Irma was very nice about it, but the whole operation is VERY unorganized. So we scheduled a delivery...never showed, we called during their 9am window & they told us they needed to now move our appt. to 3-4pm...good thing we called!!! 3-4pm came & went. The guys FINALLY called us @ about 7pm saying they were close to our house. Finally delivered @ 7:30pm!! WOW that's a big difference from 9am!! Irma also sent along a gift basket for the 3rd trip's troubles, which I believe made the delivery even later. Very nice of her, but does anyone else find it odd that it was a gift basket of only laundry laundry soap, but we bought a frig? They also said giftcards would be in this basket, but that didn't pan out either. In summary, we saved A LOT of $$ & got a nice frig, but if we had known ahead of time what we were in for, we wouldn't have gone there. You get what you pay for, but in this case I am referring to getting lame service, but a nice enough product. I wouldn't NOT recommend this place, I would just put out a disclaimer. Some things can be overlooked to save $$ is what this co. is banking on. **11/12 UPDATE** My frig never worked, they didn't honor their word or warranty. I waited a long time to update this because I actually am taking them to small claims court & wanted to add the verdict. I fear the longer I wait, the more people will go there, so here it is so far.** Conclusion: Went to small claims court, won, Express paid me, sold non working frig. read more

UNPROFESSIONAL !!!! Please re-think before you buy from these people! They DON'T respond if the machine they sold you breaks!!!!!!! My husband and I bought a High Efficiency washer and dryer from this place in Feb 2013 . We thought it was a great deal at the time $575 for both units including delivery and installation. The delivery guys were very polite and efficient. Explained about the warranty (90 days) About 2 weeks ago the washer started to go haywire on the rinse cycle and everything went DOWNHILL from there quickly !! Called the owner CARLOS , I admit i was quite upset ! I have 2 small children and use the machines almost on a daily basis. I asked him if it was customary to sell units that break RIGHT AFTER the warranty expires. He assured me that everything would be looked at the next day and could resolve whatever issues then. Aug 1 NO SHOW ! Not even a courtesy call!!! So I attempt to call back the following week NO ANSWER !!! He sends me straight to voicemail and sends me " Can't Talk Now. Call Me Back Later?" So I do. STILL NO ANSWER left voicemail STILL NO CALL BACK. I had to have my husband call from a different number just to get this jerk CARLOS to talk to us. He told my husband that he will dispatch someone to the house between 5-6 pm today. We shall see. A drive down the 405 saved me loads of money on my loads of laundry.. Although from the outside the place looks a little temporary-ish with the balloons and no big sign - on the inside sits Irma.. a little no nonsense down to earth chica who knows her appliances and tells you like it is. The place is clean, well lit, no frills and 1200 square feet of Home Depot white flat paint. I am a nosey pushy kind of shopper who does my research and make sellers suffer with my questions.. but not in a bad way ;-) I discover that their warehouse is in El Monte. They purchase good appliances not more than 4 years old from various auctions, fix them up then bring them to this location. Price was cheaper than anywhere for anything gently used. They offer a 60 day warranty and if you want extended warranty they will charge you something for it. They deliver, install and take away your old appliances. They also had some nice refrigerators.. definitely worth checking out and driving down the 405 for.. read more

We call, Carlos answers and promises to call right back. NEVER calls back. No responses to calls or emails in any way. Maybe Carlos will finally make this right so I can update my review- and hopefully he will respond before I actually have the time to update my review with even more of the shady details. Shame on you Carlos. Update: I stand by my review, especially after receiving THREATENING private messages from Carlos to remove my review. A good businessman would not do this and would actually return calls or at the very least, see if there was some kind of miscommunication and admit he had dropped the ball with his products and services. I really needed a washer and dryer stackable set because we just moved into our house. I checked all over Craigslist for a great deal and either they were to good to be true, the people were selling as is, they had no reviews on Yelp, and/or were not a legitimate business. I was very skeptical to do business with this company because of the negative reviews but here's what I did and it worked out great so far. When I called I told Mayra (manager) about the reviews and she told me that no one ever puts a positive review online when they have a great experience and that she could assure me that they would be on time and professional in all their dealings. So I took her word for it. We really wanted this Maytag duet set but it wasn't stackable so she sent me pictures of two other sets. We picked one out and made a delivery date. Two really great workers, in uniform, arrived on time. They disassembled the units so they could pass through the door, they didn't scratch or bump any of the walls when they moved anything, and were very professional (not taking breaks, talking on their phones, smoking, etc.) I noticed that the washer and dryer had some dents and scratches and received a discount from the owner when I sent him the pictures. I paid, got my receipt, and have been using my machines all weekend. They work 100% as promised so far. Great company! read more

In my opinion this company will not be around for long considering how they are managed and run. We were sold appliances that did not work properly. This company will gladly take your money and then give you the cold shoulder with their "NO REFUND" policy. Xpress Appliances gets a -100% rating in my book. I made the biggest mistake by going to Xpress Appliances. The gal that helped me was doing many things at a time & agreed to have my appliances installed a certain way. When it came time to she stated that wasn't what she promised. She put the delivery on hold because I asked for a refund. She stated that she would have to lie to her manager to get the refund. This started before Xmas. I finally agreed over a week ago to have them delivery the set as long as the units would be fully functional and the lines would run along the wall to look nice in my kitchen. I asked numerous times for my money back and the managers numbers. She said it would be installed. I finally get a call late evening on Friday from a installer stating he could come by now. I wasn't available so we agreed for yesterday between 3 to 5, About 430pm, he tells me he would be there around 7pm. I informed that I couldn't be there because of taking a friend to work. He wanted to come even later which was crazy. He promised to call me to get a good time today, Sunday. I never get a call or text. I kept calling getting no answer. I start calling the sales gal which I now know is a part of the ownership of the company. When she answer, she hangs up on me when I state who I am. I call back and some other gal claims Erma isn't available. She will give me know information other then to call a different number & hung up. I called the store number listed in the adds to get Sandy, saying how did you get this number. This is my personal cell. I asked for the manager/owner. She will not give me a number only to say what is a good number to call me back before I get disconnected. I told her not to hang up on me. Myra gets on the phone claiming that she is the manager and Erma's sister. I believe I was talking to Erma and she was lying that she was someone else. Either way, I have yet to get my washer/dryer set or my money refunded. Myra claimed that I told Erma to lie so she could request a refund. My words was that you don't need to lie. I misunderstood how the install was going to be so I want a refund. Also, I informed Erma that I had been in an accident so I need the money back more then ever. She said "that's personal". They will promise you anything but will lie to do nothing in return to get your money. It appears that I will be robbed of $800.00. God helps those that will try to get a repair from them if their appliances breaks down. THEY ARE THIEFS! Look at the review that was posted 12/23. Kelly was ran around just as bad. Kelly didn't have to deal with a major install as I was promised. As Kelly stated, if she had known ahead of time, she would have never done business with them. Today we finally got a new dryer! Xpress appliances helped us out a lot! They drove all the way to woodland hills, came at the time they said prior to arriving. They installed it really quickly took our old dryer and put in a new dryer. They sprayed it clean and cleaned up any mess they made. From the time they came to the time they left was 25 min!!! I do not recommend this store to my friends at all. We are dealing with high amount of cash. Those are not 10 dollar values. Irma was very nice to me on 1st day. However, she kept delaying delivery date and not giving me the exact time. She kept lying to me that she was on the way and then after on time, she sent a text message that she cannot make it. She made me paying them in full on 1st day and kept delaying delivery time several times. Who will trust those keep delaying delivery time? So bad customer services !!! My physical body is so much exhausted with checking my cell phone every minute and sending messages to them. She said that she cannot refund my money even though she did not deliver your appliances. It is stealing money from me. I was very angry and was trying to find that company's information through my friends. They made you exhausted and then deliver(?). Her cell phone has been used by 2 other girls, sandra and virginia. They claimed that they are the owners. Both girls kept promising me for delivering my items. However, my appliances have never been arrived. I do not understand how she can survive by lying to their customers? The customers can bring more people if they treat them honestly. I was some what skeptical at first, especially after reading about someone's fridge not working and having to sue to get it fixed :/. But I bought a washer and dryer there, worked great. Then the washer stopped working, they honored their warranty, came out within 3 days to get it fixed and it turned out we some how got a sock jammed into the draining tube in the washer ;). All in all, great experience, and very good prices. I would certainly recommend them again, I cannot comment on the way the store looks as I ordered online and had it delivered. We had challenges with installing one of the sets due to electrical issues and they stuck around as the contractor resolved the issue and only left when the job was done and the machines were tested. Absolutely a great find on Craigslist. Our old school washer and dryer took a poop on us for the final time. We knew it was time to upgrade. Upon finding them on Craigslist, the experience fro beginning to end was very easy. Carlos the owner was pleasant over the phone. Told us what he had in stock and we settled on a stackable washer and dryer. Now, they're in El Monte, they gave us free delivery all the way in Inglewood! The guys that brought our appliances were kind. We gave them water and had fun talking to them. The warranty that we received was a plus. We bought everything Jan 2013, and they'll be coming next week to do a maintenance check on our dryer. My husband just called them and scheduled our appt. with no problem! Me and my fiance' just moved into a new place and there were washer/dryer hookups, so we went into the market for a washer and dryer set. We went to the local mom and pop appliance stores in our area, but they were all super high for scratched, dinged and rusted used appliances! We thought of buying new but our budget was strained from the move, so we turned our attention to craigslist. Every good deal I came across sold in a matter of hours and that's when I found an add for an affordable set that Xpress Appliances was selling. I called and spoke with Mayra (hope I spelled that right!) and she was very helpful. I asked about the set and she called to check that they still had that set. It got a prompt call back and she informed me that the set was still available and that she could have it delivered that day. YAY! I scheduled the delivery and for a nominal fee, they installed the units. Both techs were professional and worked quickly. Before I knew it, I had a washer and dryer in our new place! The washer was very quiet and a front loader! Great deal! when I tried to use the dryer, it did not seem to heat up, so I called Carlos and he sent someone out the next day and they fixed it right up. She heats good now and the clothes are clean. I would surely buy another set from them again. I experienced professionalism through and through and that says a lot. I also checked out their website and they had higher end washers and dryers so we might upgrade sooner than later...AND THEY OFFER GARAUNTEES! Awesome. I just bought a Whirlpool duet washer and dryer set with pedestals, as well as a Kenmore side by side fridge. After visiting their warehouse and choosing my items (ask for Carlos), they delivered the items the same afternoon. They were on time and responsive. I got an amazing deal on the washer dryer set; the fridge was a good deal as well. Considering they will deliver and install the appliances for you, as well as provide 30 day warranty (which can be extended at a small cost per month), I'm very comfortable buying from this company, rather than buying from some random person through craigslist and having no warranty that the appliances would work. I ran about 8 loads of laundry yesterday, and everything came out clean and dry! There was a small problem with the fridge after delivery (one of the wires came loose during delivery since they had to remove the fridge doors to fit through my narrow kitchen door), but they came out right after I called them and fixed the problem. The delivery guy even texted me that he was running 15 minutes late - I appreciated that! Happy customer! Will definitely be going back to them for future purchases and can recommend to friends and family. I was looking for a specific model but they didnt have it at the time, Carlos (I think he might be the owner) told me they would inform me as soon as they get one and sure it was!Two weeks later he called me to let me know that they have the set i was looking for. I never went to the store, he sent me a few pictures of the machines to make sure I like the color and the condition. i had done my research about the type of washer and dryer I wanted so i knew they were good brands. They were able to deliver and install the same week. They delivered during the given time frame. They were very polite and efficient.
