We spent an afternoon engaged in Airsoft battles as the first third of a friend's bachelor party and had a great time. Burning off calories in the woods took off the guilt for how much Mexican food we'd eat afterwards (well, after a stop home for showers) and how much alcohol we'd consume later (no alcohol before or during the event, of course). I can't say enough about this place. The facilities are the best around by far. They work really hard to keep paintball and airsoft going all day without any issues. I left a $1000 rifle after playing Saturday and when I realized what I had done on the following Monday I found the staff had placed it in the office for safe keeping. Today was our first visit to Xtreme Park Adventures for paintball. I purchased a Groupon and brought 5 kids ages 10-12. Staff is friendly. Facility and course are well kept and exciting. My kids had a great time. My main concern is that kids as young as 10 years old are mixed into public play with very experienced adult players. This practice doesn't seem safe. I would suggest instead that they offer a kids course for players 10-15 years old. This would even the playing field and help keep kids who are interested in this activity separate and safe. read more

Very fun! A couple minutes drive from where I live, employees are funny and nice. They are quick with repairs and you feel comfortable asking for help. Maps are fun but I hope they fix the second floor in New City. Other thing is their rental masks are another level of awful. Every one I had until I bought my own gun was so bad I couldn't see 10 feet in front of me from how scratched and dirty and how much they fogged up. I ended up shooting my own teammate at one point. I think it's time they throw those out and buy another bulk of cheap rental masks. And I wish they did more scenarios. Other than that the game modes are fun, especially the zombie one (infected?). I go once every one or two weeks and every time is a blast. $20 for full day admission, and you can leave and come back for the rest of the day, and they order pizza on the weekends. $60 for 2000 rounds and that will last me a good while. If you are a more serious woodsball player you'll still have fun but there will be a lot of people who have never played or children there. So it's still fun to go to, but if you're going with the expectation that you'll be playing against a lot of people as serious about paintball as you are you might be disappointing (but still have fun shooting beginners!) If you do not have your own equipment for paintball, it will be given to you along with admission for $45-55. The masks are kinda crappy but the guns work fairly well for all the abuse they take. And if you are going for airsoft, they always look like they're having a great time! I haven't seen their laser tag stuff though. If you want to go for laser tag I would seriously recommend Hard Knocks in Raleigh. That place is amazing. read more

Attended xtreme Kombat for a friend's bachelor party that I was hosting. Despite contacting xtreme by phone and email no one responded. When I asked if we could get a reduced price for a party of 8, the guy at the front counter hassled us and wouldn't offer the livingsocial price (which was still easily available online). After debating with him why he should give us the $25 deal and get 100% of the profit vs $12.50 he finally offered us the discount. It was just sad to see that a place I had attended before and used for social events wouldn't honor a price that would literally give them more profit. "Fish" the guy who helped us throughout the day was awesome and if I could give him 5 stars I would. But the guy at the front desk needs to shave his terrible mustache and try to be more helpful to patrons--particularly a group who may attend for future events or never return depending on their experience. read more

Let me start by saying the paintball courses were awesome and everything was really setup well for those who are beginners to paintball, which was our group and the prices weren't bad at all. The reason for the low score: when we arrived no one was able to give us clear directions on what we needed to do in order to get all of our equipment and where to go. Our group wasn't able to actually start paint balling till an hour after our scheduled time slot. So the disorganization was a problem but we looked past it. Then we were told we could leave the rest of our paintballs on the picnic tables while we played and they would be safe waiting there when we returned after a couple of rounds. They were not! Someone stole our paintballs and the staff did nothing to make it right even though they were the ones who told us we could leave them. We had also booked a private event however other paintballers ended up onto our fields during our time slot. Even though we managed to still have a good time. The lack of organization, theft, and lack of care from the employees makes me not want to attempt this location again. read more

The Airsorfting at Xtreme paark had always been good. However as the park has expanded it is now displaying some significant negligence in its safety protocols for airsofting. I can not comment on if there are any paintball issues. The issue with airsoft is some guns have the ability to be set at very high velocities. Xtreme Combat have limits on what they are to be set at for playing, but are not checking guns, and some individuals and groups are playing with the guns set at such high velocities that other players are suffering significant injuries from the airsoft pellets. Extreme combat despite having the equipment to check guns is NOT CHECKING THAT PLAYERS STAY WITHIN THESE LIMITS, and when informed about it seemed unconcerned. Eventually someone is going to suffer a significant injury when an amped up gun penetrates eye protection. If extreme combat thinks their waivers will protect them from a lawsuit when they are displaying negligent safety protocols they are sadly mistaken. Its unfortunate as this was in the past a fun, and safe environment for airsofting, but unfortunately the safety factor is rapidly disappearing. Parents whose children are not experienced airsofters, do not have body armor and are not prepared for their kids to come home with penetrating injuries should reconsider participation here. read more
