This place is great for to go orders. The food is good and tastes fresh. You get a decent amount of for each order and their fries have this seasoning on them that is addicting. Service is quick and concise. We ate in the restaurant but probably won't order for dine in again. It's not a very inviting place to sit and eat. We were the only ones in there and it's not a very lively place. The employees are quick with orders and making the food but that's it. Not friendly or talkative, not rude at all, just quiet. We came here on Mother's Day for a quick takeout lunch and ordered falafels, the chicken shawarma bowl with hummus and Mediterranean salad, the gyro bowl with tabouleh and baba ghanoush, and a falafel wrap. Everything tasted so fresh and authentic. The pita bread was soft and delicious as well. The limited time lentil soup was tasty as well. It wasn't salty at all. Looove Yafa Hummus! They've been one of my fav East Bay spots ever since they first opened in Tracy. First time trying Yafa Hummus in this location. I usually eat at the Tracy location. I went with a couple of my co workers after our shift. Say to say I will not be going to this Location as often and will most likely go to the Tracy or Dublin location. The service was not welcoming at all. When all my co workers came in, we were not greeted into the store and the employee taking our order seem like he did not want us to inside the restaurant. He looked mad and was very rude. The atmosphere was not pleasant. I asked the employee how he was doing and he did not reply or anything and I just had to order. The ambiance was okay, we were the only ones in the restaurant and the tables were not clean, they were dirt and like sauce left over on the table. The food was still very good and would order it again. All my colleagues ordered the build your own bowls and it was very delicious. I am giving this location a 3/5 stars based off how bad the customer service was. I did not feel welcomed and the staff member was not very welcoming to me and my coworkers. Quality ingredients you can taste! First time here and wish there were more in the Bay, or at least a location closer to my home. I love Mediterranean food and this "fast casual" restaurant was better than I expected. They pack on the protein too, not skimpy at all. I didn't even know this restaurant existed until today. I came here with my wife to try it out and was immediately greeted by a young gentleman who promptly took our order. The prices are reasonable and everything smelled good. My wife and I ordered the gyro pita. I asked for grilled onions in mine and she ordered hers without onions. The food came out quickly and was freshly prepared. The pita was perfectly grilled and there was plenty of delicious meat inside. Looking back, I probably should have skipped out on the onions, but it was worth the try. I would probably ask for more tomato and cucumbers if I ordered this again. Next time, I'm excited to try their chicken shawarma wrap. The lavash bread looks amazing and I can't wait to try it. The gyro pita was not my favorite; the tomatoes were sliced in a way that was hard to eat with the entire pita (maybe needs to be cut into wedges?). We ordered online 5 minutes before arriving and the meal was ready for us about 5 minutes after we arrived. Everything was extremely flavorful and well seasoned. Yafa Hummus gets five stars in my book. Went here recently with my beloved. She got the falafel wrap. I got the falafel bowl with brown rice, falafel, amazing hummus, salad etc. The falafel wrap is made with daily made falafel mix served on lavash with hummus, spring mix, tomatoes, pickles and tahini sauce. Bowl is choose a couple items aka hummus, protein aka falafel two sides and went to dress it up with vegan tahini. I spent six weeks backpacking in the Middle East and love the Bay Area has so many great ethnic spots that are authentic with good veg options. We both loved it! Went into the Livermore location today and was amazed. I am not good with names and never ask who took my order anyway, but the guy working today was amazing. My and my wife's bowls were works of art. He took pride in producing what he did and it showed. Even the placement of the bowl on the tray had purpose. I've never had such a beautiful tray of food served to me at a Yafa location as today. Absolute perfection. Little did we know how much we would enjoy our time here. Brandon helped us to order the most tasty dishes. We chose our protein: 1/2 chicken and 1/2 beef, hummus, brown rice, Greek salad and taziki. It was a party in the mouth and so filling we couldn't finish our bowls. We also got to sample the falafel by checking in on Yelp. I am a big Mediterranean food lover and with Yafa, you just can't go wrong! Since I don't eat lamb, I never get the original lamb/beef mixture. At any other place, I will just get a chicken gyro but what I really like about Yafa is that you can get a classic gyro pita without the lamb! They have a beef only meat. It is so well seasoned and their tzatziki sauce is spectacular. It comes with onions and tomatoes too. Oh and the staff here is just phenomenal. They are so nice and always putting the customer first. For example, they once forgot to include soup in the order and so we called them back to let them know and they were so apologetic, when we came in to pick it up, they gave us an extra soup just to make up for it. My wife had ordered this and got to eat barely half after everyone else had "tasted" it! Pita chips with pesto hummus ($4) - addictive. Will Pass on these next time: Spicy Chicken Shawarma wrap - I'd ordered this and the "spice" was odd. No one wanted a second bite.
