The employee was so helpful and friendly, she was so sweet throughout our meal there and it was so refreshing compared to many of the restaurants in the area with not so great service. The food was absolutely delicious and came out quickly. The same gal who took our order also was serving and preparing the food, another huge kudos to her on that. We tried this place tonight to support the Livermore Little League fundraiser and the food was fantastic. The wraps and bowls are much bigger than we expected. The food only took less than 10 minutes to make and you can watch them make it in front of you which is awesome! The wrap appears small but is very, very filling. I usually can eat a lot but didn't end up finishing it on top of the lentil soup that I got. The wrap definitely tastes healthy and light which I loved. The vegetables were definitely fresh. It was very flavorful (I just wished I had asked for more sauce-- next time!) As for the lentil soup, this was yummy. Not only was it served very hot (which I loved) but even 30 minutes after coming back from a meeting it was still pretty warm. Pro Tip: DIP THE WRAP IN THE LENTIL SOUP, yummy! I tried these restaurant today for the first time. I ordered several things to go. I had one bowl with salad, chicken Shawarma, baba ghanouj and tabouli. I also ordered one meat Gyro and one falafel wrap. I also tried the baklava and a soda. This restaurant has Pepsi. The baklava was freshly made and delicious. It was much better than I was expecting. My bowl was very good. I like that the salad had lots of cucumber and tomato. I also liked the baba ghanouj it was very creamy. My husband and my son liked the wraps however they wished that they had had more sauce. Overall I liked this restaurant and I would come back. Parking is very easy and there's plenty of it. The restaurant is in a large shopping center with other chains and a supermarket so you can do you wanna stop shopping and get dinner and grocery shopping at the same time. So I found this place by complete accident and I'm so happy I did! My dad and I were in the area and in a hurry to get home. We found Panda Express a few doors down and were originally going to go there but thankfully there was a line out the door and we saw Yafa Hummus. It looked promising and seemed pretty quiet. I looked up the reviews and saw that it had mainly good reviews and I can see why. The staff was so nice...they were super friendly and we both felt welcomed. Got to try them out during their soft opening today. Very clean and friendly service. I got a spicy gyro wrap and a side of falafels. Service was pretty fast. The gyro wrap was very good and had a nice spicy kick to it. The meat was moist and the pita was covered in tzatziki sauce. The falafels were flavorful and came with a side of hummus for your dipping pleasure. No complaints and I will definitely be back to try a few other things. Comes with a huge pita bread. A very large portion for $15.00. The Gyros and chicken shawarma were both delicious. You can get wraps as well. Customer service was great. The server made suggestions and let us try the three different hummus before making a decision which one to order. It's very interesting how Yafa Hummus was established. Their menu is very simple. They offer wraps, bowls and sides. Chicken, Falafel and Gyro are in offering. There are a few wraps and you can make a bowl with your choices. I ordered a Chicken Shawarma Wrap, Back Home style Wrap and a Chicken Shawarma Bowl, lentil soup, Baklava ice-cream and fountain drink as well. Chicken Shawarma is served on lavash - with spring mix and Mediterranean salad. It is served with a garlic sauce. If you want a spicy one, you have the option to add their chili sauce to it as well. I opted for the spicy version. I would say a medium spicy. It definitely added a special flavor to the Shawarma wrap. Perfectly cooked and delicious. I really enjoyed the flavor of it. Back home style is also a wrap, but cut into bite size pieces. Served with pickles and garlic sauce on the side. Very similar to Chicken Shawarma, but the flavor is different. It goes really well with the garlic sauce. I guess the garlic sauce add some the magic into this dish. Flavorful. For the bowl, you can pick a base - from the choices of white/brown rice, hummus, salad or Kale Slaw. Add a topping of Chicken, Falafel or Gyro. Or you can opt for half and half as well. Then you can pick 2 sides and a dressing. I opted of Chicken and Falafel - half and half, with brown rice as the base. Baba Ghanoush and spicy hummus for the side with tahini & tzatziki for dressing. It turned out to be really good, especially with the spicy hummus and baba ghanoush. Tzatziki has added a nice flavor to it as well. The brown rice was a little sticky, different from other Mediterranean places. Really enjoyed the bowl. The lentil soup and the baklava ice-cream also turned out to be really good. I loved baklava ice-cream. I was trying it for the very first time and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Never knew Baklava and ice-cream are a good combination. The caramel drizzle added a different twist to it. While the food was great, the service was fantastic. From the lady who took my order to the lady who prepared it, super friendly and helpful. They were patient enough to listen and answer my questions. Really enjoyed the hospitality of the employees. They took some time to prepare the food.
