This place keeps me coming back!! Absolutely amazing food and varieties, healthy, amazing sauces, great quality of fresh produce. Their sides/mezzo also never disappoint (get their Greek yogurt Mac n cheese!!) I eat here probably once a week, and whenever I'm gone from Charlotte for more than a week I truly miss it. Went there yesterday for the first time. I give it a 2 star because I think the food was pretty tasty. However, it was my gf and I and for two bowls and tap water it cost $31.28. Which is fine if we had went to a sit down restaurant. Although this was essentially a fast food place. It's a walk up counter and the meats are in a steam well, just like Qdoba. Now we go out just about everyday and it's not like I'm trying to sound cheep but $30.00 far two bowls of fast sooo is just not it for me. I was also way taken back by the fact that when I paid they turn the screen around in order for you to sigh it with your finger and before you can do that you are prompted to tip. Now that's ok I'm in the restaurant industry but here's the kicker, it starts at 18% then there's a 20% and a 25% option! I was like well they got some balls to do that at a fast food place. I really like this bowl concept and even their rotisserie chicken is awesome. However, when it comes to friendliness they still have to improve on that area. I recently have been here and I was not greeted by the staff nor the cashier. To my surprise, the spanish cashier who was working today on May 5th, around 7 pm greeted the other customer who was just behind me. Well this was totally unacceptable. Why don't you treat everyone equally just because someone is white do they get a special attention. Since I come from a different ethnicity background I was given a different treatment. I can't say enough good things about Yafo. Some might scoff at the price, but with the portions they give you, it's ALWAYS enough for leftovers (or great for sharing!) The falafel is always fresh hot and flavorful. All the bases, toppings, and fillings are delicious and fresh at any given time of day. If you'd rather go for a comfort food side, the mac and cheese is amazing as well. The fresh house-made juices are to die for (mango is my absolute favorite). Live in Lake Norman, met a friend for lunch. Thought this was Just Fresh, but tried it anyway. OMG. What do you want? You can get it! I tried the chicken stuffed avocado . Large portion, ate half and the rest for dinner. I am a big eater, and had just worked out. I may have to revisit! They do have beer and wine, but not bottles of wine. Visited this restaurant on business and boy was it booming at lunchtime. I enjoyed the yogurt Mac and cheese and Brussel sprouts. There was plenty of seating and the staff promptly cleaned tables to ensure all patrons were welcome. I will definitely visit again and try more from their menu. read more

Yafo is one of my girlfriend and I's favorite go-to and this new location does not disappoint. Same great food as the other locations with a fantastic new atmosphere. In our effort to support the local restaurants, we ordered from YAFO tonight. The special take out tonight was Fattah Chicken. It's a Lebanese Chicken and Rice Casserole with Tahini Yogurt Sauce. I can't NOT leave a review for this magical unicorn of a place. I am SO happy this location opened closer to my work! Now only if we could get one in Steele creek or Belmont! (Wishful thinking) I absolutely love this place. The flavors seem strange but go together so perfectly. I always get a bowl, but use the delicious pita they give you on the side for smaller wraps. I usually come at lunch but I do the order online ahead and just walk in, grab, and walk right back out. If you're in a hurry, do this..because they're always busy! Although the line moves quick. Visited today as a first time customer. I walked in and was looking at the menu above but the lady at the counter made eye contact with me so I asked her how the menu worked. If it was salads or bowls and what sides I could get. She was helpful at first but before she could continue answering my questions another woman employee cut her off and said rudely "everything you see can be a side, look in front of you and decide". She seemed to be annoyed by me asking the other woman questions about the menu. I could understand them wanting to rush me if someone was behind me but there was no line behind me at all. I will never be coming back all because of her impression. I will be calling to tell the manager of this incident because hopefully I can influence how they choose to treat future customers. About the food, it was alright and unflavored. Viva chicken is a much tastier option to me. The employees are actually kind there and welcome their customers asking questions. The employees were working on 6/16/2022 at around 1:30pm. The one who was attempting to help me was a black young lady and the one who was extremely rude was a hispanic woman. I give this description so hopefully if the owner sees this they can identify the women and make sure customers don't feel the way I did today again. read more

Yummy! I had tasted food from Yafo at catered events and finally came in to an actual location and had a great experience! Food was great and the staff was so very friendly and helpful! When asked what sauce I wanted, I asked what sauces they had and the staff member said "Is this your first time here? How about I just give you a side car of each and you can try them all and find your favorite! The rest of the staff that I came in contact with were also very friendly! Actually seeming to not hate their job and were genuinely happy to help. First off, I LOVE the food here! The only reason I give it 3 stars is based on consistency and pricing. I usually get 1/4 chicken and 2 mezzes, all of which are delicious. I love the bowls but rarely get them because their pricing is so CONFUSINg! I've taken friends and family here for the first time, and I will say it is a bit overwhelming. The staff wasn't super helpful with explaining and my friend ended up with an $10 bowl that cost $14. Same with my 1/4 chicken just realized their was an upcharge for *white meat. It does say on the sign in fine print, but when I asked an employee they said that didn't count for a 1/4 chicken (well it does). In any event I think it's great food, just be prepared for all of the choices. The quantity depending on who serves you varies, and beware of "upcharges" that aren't explained well especially when you order a bowl. Just frustrating when you walk in thinking your spending $10 and then it's 40% more with the "extras". More just posting this too so Yafo would consider making their menu and pricing easier to follow and work to educate their employees on serving size and pricing. read more

The flavors are fresh and feel alive. It is truly what our bodies need and crave. This was my first time here, I did the build a bowl with half-and-half kale/spinach, hummus, falafel, lemon tahini, Extra beets and pretty much a scoop of everything. I really love YAFO kitchen. They serve delicious food. I always get the 1/4 chicken with cauliflower and Brussel sprouts. Food is 5/5 but their ordering service could be better. I ordered dark meat but got white meat once; I would have been upset but their white meat was super juicy so I didn't mind. The second time they gave me ranch instead of toum. Both times, I didn't realize it until I got home. I've ordered by phone and online and there were mistakes both times. If it weren't for that, easily 5 stars. I had the falafel bowl. They let me customize the bowl with either rice or cous cous and a bunch of other assortments. Everything that came on it was fresh and tasted really good. They also have some additional sauces you can opt for. I tried the cilantro yogurt and it's something I've never had before. For those who eat meat, there's plenty of options.
