Mango ice cream

Lunch here was quiet and we had no wait. We had delicious food, new flavors and textures. Portions were plenty. Took home my extra naan bread (which was the best I've ever had). Place was decorated with giant yaks and Yeti: Bigfoot hahaha. It was lovely. Service was polite. Would go again

Chicken Assorted Momo

Delicious food and friendly service. The chicken momos, butter chicken, and masala chai are a few of our favorites when we come in. The bathrooms are clean and the establishment is warm and inviting. We love to come in for a date night.

Last night we picked up some food to go and damn it was good! Efficient, quick delicious and fulfilling. Great work

Rack of Lamb

Delicious food, attentive service and close to home- doesn't get any better than this! I enjoyed the Butter Chicken and my husband had their Rack of Lamb with garlic naan. Relaxed indoor seating with great ambiance

We ended our Napa trip with dinner at Yak and Yeti and it was a flavorful and hearty meal that our whole group enjoyed. The restaurant itself is cozy and clean and we sat in a booth table in the back. We ordered the momo platter, samosas, vegetable tandoori, salmon and eggplant curry, lamb tikka masala, garlic naan, and rice to go with everything. I really liked the lamb momos, samosas, and the salmon and eggplant curry with the garlic naan. Everything was cooked well with good flavors. I think the lamb in the tikka masala was a bit dry for my taste, but the flavor was there. We also had their chai and mango lassi, both of which were sooo good. Service was warm and friendly, it felt like we were having a nice homecooked meal.

Indian food has to be one of my favorite types of cuisine. That being said I've made it a point to stop at least one Indian restaurant in every city we stop in. Having grown up in NY there were endless options and most of them were pretty damn good. That being said Yak & Yeti is hands down the best Indian food I have ever had!!! The staff is so nice, they let you know spice levels in their dishes, explain what is in everything and made great recommendations for the little one. The inside is cozy and warm, very inviting, it's almost like you're sitting down at grandmas house for a family meal. The food is just absolutely amazing, there wasn't one thing that we tried that we didn't like. Listen if you're in the area and you haven't been to Yak & Yeti put it at the top of your list and run there!

Chicken 65

Our favorite Indian/Nepalese place just became a one hr drive away! The food was so flavorful with a choice of spiciness! Very nice servers, Full Bar, and perfect ambience! We weee able to get a table on the fly but I can imagine it gets packed on the weekends... Butter Chicken was so creamy, Chicken 65 was perfectly prepared and yummy, Naan was crispy & chewy and the Lamb Biryani had big chunks of meat! Wanna come back to try the other Nepalese dishes and my wife will always have the Butter Chicken! Thank you!

If I could give it zero stars I would. I placed an online order looking at the prices on their website but when I went in to pick up the order the prices were totally different. I thought they made a mistake with the prices and I went again to the cashier (manager) to let him know. He was so rude, unprofessional and said he is not responsible of the prices on the website. It feels like a false advertisement for consumers that traveled from different city try their food.

Momo Sampler with side of sauce.

This was a gem of a find! The food is delicious, and the service great! The decor fully embraces the "yak & yeti", which was delightful. The music was soft, allowing for conversation at the table. We had the mono sampler. To be honest these were some of the best I have ever had! The mild sauce was full of flavor and the hot had a nice lingering heat to it. If I had to choose one flavor to get again, it would be the lamb. Juicy, tender, and well seasoned. We had the special: Butter Chicken with garlic naan. The sauce was so creamy and the chicken was perfectly cooked, that we had to order a side of rice so we could finish the sauce. Thank you for a wonderful dinner.

We were fortunate to snag at last minute reservation at Farm when we arrived in Napa on a Friday…read moreevening. As you might expect the decor is upscale, modern farmhouse for a restaurant called Farm. It's beautiful with modern metal light figures, light color pallets, and large windows. And even though we reserved an indoor table, they accommodated our last minute desire to switch to outdoor seating. Major bonus points for sufficient heating for your outdoor diners, even at the end of May. The service at Farm was excellent. I just want to give a major shout out to Farm for completely accommodating my lactose intolerance. This allowed me to enjoy the dining experience without worry. For drinks they gave us complimentary glasses of champagne as we were celebrating a special occasion. This was a nice way to start the meal. After, I ordered a lemon drop and husband went with his typical old fashioned. Both were very good. Next, they gave us some amuse bouches to start the meal, with a special one for me to accommodate my dairy issue. Love, love it when restaurants do this. I think this especially notable for restaurants not offering a prixe fixe menu. The food was incredible. To start we had the focaccia, which was so, so good. I was also very hungry so I had more than I would have liked before I even got my entree. Oops, but I also have no regrets. For my entree, I really wanted the crab stuffed cod, but this could not be done without dairy so I opted for the eye of ribeye entree. This dish was incredible. The beef was tender, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. I don't know what the veggies on the side were exactly, but they were mind-blowingly good. I wish I could make veggies at home taste this good. I firmly believe that it speaks volumes when a restaurant puts as much effort into the sides as it does to its mains. My husband ordered the pizza as his main. He finished it all, but thought the pizza sauce tasted a little unusual, but couldn't put his finger on exactly why. For dessert I had strawberry sorbet, and my husband had the chocolate ice cream. The portions were very generous with three scoops each. I didn't think we would finish them, but they were so good we did. To conclude the meal, they gave us little pate de fruit candies, and cookies to take home with us, including a dairy free one specially for me. This type of experience is on par with Michelin level dining. We had such a fabulous meal here and overall amazing experience with the level of service at the Carneros property that even though we weren't staying as guests, we decided that we will stay at Carneros and will dine again at Farm when we visit again next year.

Farm to table…read more Quality/Quantity - Expected more from this place... Spanish Octopus - Appertizer, tapa quantity. Okay flavors, but the tips were over charred. It was not 100% edible. Agnolotti - Entree, but I felt more of a tapa/appetizer size. The flavors were okay. I was worried that this was not going to be enough food for my daughter, and we are light eaters... Pappardelle - My dish, and currently my go-to pasta. It was just okay. At least it was a decent one serving light eater quantities.... Wines - Expensive, so I decided to only have a beer with my dinner. Choose the Original Pattern, Hazy IPA, CA - Nice and refreshing. Ambiance - Beautiful resort. The restaurant looked good also - Modern, clean decor, etc. See pictures. Indoor/outdoor space. Bar, lounge, table, counter table, private room seating, etc. I actually like the outdoor space and would come here for drinks and the live music. And we liked the high quality board games in the resort lobby; my daughter would probably love to hang out here and play some games. Prost tasting room; wine tasting before or after dinner? Plenty of parking, self parking or valet. I checked out both the resort lobby and restaurant indoor/outdoor spaces; see pictures. Live music today. Shared restrooms with the resort. Meet hall spaces available. Service - Just okay, expected better. Price - Expensive for what we got. $108 + tip. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 2006.

We had boquerones, a gorgeous peach salad, patatas, fried manchego, lamb chops and a delightful coffee and desert. Fancy gin and great selection of wines rounds out their menu. OK, it happens but then I read that if you DO make a Rez, there is a $10 deposit per person. Tacky. So we decide to take a chance and walk in, and that was not a problem. Our waitress was nice and service was good. The issue, sadly, is the food. We started with gin and tonics, which the place specializes in. Multiple tonics and gins. The drinks were really weak. I remember going with my husband and the G&T went right to my head. This one might as well have been a sprite. Then came the food. The patatas bravas were basically French fries and the special sauce tasted like ketchup with a dollop of mayo in the middle. The cheese tray, for twenty bucks, consisted of three cheese chunks the size of an old school match box. The fried eggplant with honey was delish. Shrimp were just OK. Mussels with polenta were tasty. Then came the paella, which we shared. That was the most disappointing thing. 4 clams and a sprinkling of dried out, overcooked mystery meat. Pricewise, I'd say it's fair for inflationary times, except for the paella which was basically a rip. Next time I want tapas, I'm going to Tapas Bravas in Healdsburg. They never disappoint.

Having just returned from an all-day wine tour, we decided to split an appetizer and an entree. We love lamb when it is prepared well. The Lamb Kebobs caught our eye and we went for it. And, we started with the warm hummus and pita bread. The quantity was just right for us. The hummus was very good. We have a place in Corvallis, Oregon that prepares the best hummus we've ever had in our lives, so the bar is high. Tarla's hummus was excellent with just the right amount of smokiness. The lamb kebobs were also tasty. And the roasted veggies with them were great. Nice combo of spices. Note: there are only two kebobs. We arrived about 30 minutes late, but the staff were incredibly kind and accommodating. We were seated right away and greeted warmly, which immediately made the experience feel relaxed despite us running behind. The one thing I knew I had to try here was their famous buttermilk fried chicken. Although I probably should have checked the menu more carefully beforehand, I was a little surprised to find out that Ad Hoc offers a fixed $69 menu, and everyone seated has to participate. I was even more surprised to learn that the famous fried chicken is actually an add-on to the set menu. The whole thing kind of felt like Hermès, where you have to buy all the other restaurant offerings first just to get access to the thing you really came for--the chicken. Lol. Regardless, we went with the set menu and added one order of the fried chicken, which was more than enough to share among four people. It ended up being a great lunch before a full afternoon of wine tastings. The meal started with crudités, and the vegetables were beautifully presented and very fresh. The dip leaned more like a hummus-ranch sauce, which was lighter and not as thick as I personally prefer, so this course was probably my least favorite. Still, it was a nice, refreshing way to start the meal. The main course was pork, which I initially wasn't too excited about because I was still mentally waiting for the chicken. But honestly, it was absolutely delicious. The meat was tender, flavorful, and cooked to literal perfection. It ended up being one of the best pork dishes I've ever had, and I would happily order it again. The fried chicken was, of course, amazing. The batter and skin were crispy, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned, while the inside was juicy, moist, and cooked beautifully. It's genuinely impressive how they manage to make fried chicken taste this perfect and consistent. Dessert was peach cobbler, and even though I'm not usually much of a dessert person, I really enjoyed it. It was warm, comforting, and a sweet way to end the meal. Overall, Ad Hoc was such a fun and satisfying way to start our Napa weekend. While the fixed menu setup and chicken add-on were a little unexpected, the quality of the food made the experience worth it. The pork was a surprise standout, the chicken lived up to the hype, and the service was warm from start to finish. I'd definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a relaxed but elevated Napa meal--especially if you're going for that famous fried chicken.
