Disgusting all around. I ordered a rainbow roll and baked green muscles. Both were disgusting. The fish on the rainbow roll was warm. Literally barf! The barked green muscles were so over cooked I couldn't even chew them and literally had to spit them out onto the plate. Please don't go here! If you rate this place highly you have no taste and have no idea what quality sushi is. You should also be ashamed of giving this place your money. Because I certainly am! ((Thursday 6pm)) Was my first time trying this place out. This location is small. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. They have great takeout deals. But their intimate atmosphere is so peaceful and relaxing it just makes the food that much more enjoyable. I got a bento with 2 choices the beef teriyaki and the spicy chicken. SPICY CHICKEN was very delicious. Definitely my favorite. Good and filling portions. I also got the avocado bomb, it's an appetizer, had a great flavor but after a few bites the taste can become too much. Miso was burning hot, which is perfect. I love that. Next that came out were the two salmon skin rolls i ordered. I should have only gotten two rolls because they were huge stuffed with crispy fresh ingredients. My beer was ice cold and served alongside a cute lil cup. Definitely a deep cut. The Sashimi's temperature was legit one of the best I've ever had. Wasn't expecting much but this place sets the standard for customer satisfaction and service. And although the location is petite it gives you the perfect intimate atmosphere and experience. Paul is an outstanding host! Small spot hidden away on corner of lampson and beach. Me and my fiancé found this place on accident passing through the parking lot, so we tried it. Good tasting sushi but we ordered 2 Cheetos rolls , which are topped off with Hot Cheetos, and the cheetos were stale, not crunchy at all, which tells me they were either old or they were improperly stored. It was, by far, the thinnest piece of fish I had ever encountered. (How do they slice it so thin?) Everything else was great. The shrimp crunch roll was a large portion, and clearly freshly made. We had a feast! What a delightful presentation for each roll we got. We basically ordered almost every roll they have. The Azteca was a great new way to have mango, cilantro, jalapeños, and crab meat. The Cali tempura roll was delicious and super fresh yet super crunchy. The Crunchy shrimp roll was so fresh and the shrimp was crispy. I can go on and on with their rolls just to say that same thing: they are so fresh, delicious, and the portions are quite large. We did ordered to-go, and because of the large order the guy gave us a mixed tempura which was amazing. Definitely something to try/get next time. They staff was so nice. I ordered 3 different type of sushi. California Tampura roll, rainbow roll, and the Alaskan roll. Paul, the guy who had took my order, entered in 2 of the sushi's wrong. Once i received my sushi, without even leaving the area, I noticed they were wrong. I asked for it to be replace but he insisted he could not replace it. Then he continued to mock me saying things as "yes I know customers are always right blah blah" and "I put in the cheaper sushi because I thought you were on a budget". After dealing with his rudeness, I demanded a refund for all of the sushi. He continued saying he couldn't give me a refund because he couldn't eat the sushi. I was so upset I left and accidently dropped one of the sushis. He then started getting angry and complaining that I gave him more work to do and now he has to clean it up. I came here as a regular and would come ever week or so.
