Out of certain items and the lady made me feel like I was In the wrong to ask for my money back. The women kept insisting I take a different item that still cost less then what I ordered and made it seem like I was wrong for wanting a refund bc I didn't want another item. Pretty embarrassing. Iv'e been eating at Yanni's for a few years and never had any real problems until yesterday at lunch.... I had a cheeseburger and fries which came to over eight bucks , I checked my receipt and found they over charged me I went to the counter to fix it to find the cashier didn't know how and the owner had to do it..... but, instead of simply using a calulator he does it in his head and took almost ten minutes to figure out that he owed me seventy five cents.....All this while my food was getting cold. About an hour after lunch i started to fell bad and it got worse in to the evening.. To shorten this story it was one of the worse nights of my life. July 31,2015 the people in Fillmore have no idea what a good hamburger is, the onion rings were old frozen rings that were just put in hot oil and the breadoing was falling off I never ate them. Do yourself a favor and go next store to carls jr or Mcdonalds. My cheesburger was decorated with Cold Velveeta cheese and onions. It was the worst hamburger I have EVER had. Never heard of this spot , until uncle Chris told us about it. He said best burger in town and guess what he was right. Had the Texas burger with zucchini sticks and I would return. Their gyro plate was also a group favorite. Definitely recommend this place to anyone in the area. read more

The Avgolemeno soup is the bomb...we live in Fillmore and it's so nice to have an alternative to the other fast food chains here in town. This is our go-to place when I want a turkey burger on a whole wheat bun. Their chocolate shakes are pretty commonplace but service is prompt, the location is close to our home and the food is great. read more

I love this place!! Everything I've had here is great and good portions to boot! There are neat specials that they have so you won't get bored being a regular. Hercules burger? Outstanding! We are regular customers. Corn dogs are often served still very cold. When I called for a mistake in the order, they needed to speak to the Chef for some reason. The item was corrected. When I returned i picked up the new sandwich in drive thru. They caught me exiting the drive-thru & wanted the old sandwich back. Actually accepted it back into the kitchen. Third visit and the preparation was very good except that the chef is a little to much in love with salt. The Ruben was tasty but over salted and so were the fries and if it wasn't for the serve yourself fountain drinks to wash down the salt I would not have been able to finish my meal. Super delicioso!!!It comes in a piping hot Molcajete the juice from the carne asada is tasty along with shrimp, chorizo, queso fresco, chicken, nopales, and home made corn tortillas. Yummy! We stopped by there yesterday to try a new place. We ordered two burger combos, a taco plate and a kabob Platter. We could have eaten at a steak restaurant for the same as what we paid, but I figured paying almost 15 dollars for a burger combo then the food should be pretty good. Wrong. The burgers were nothing spectacular and the fries were over cooked. The tacos were as expected for a place that doesn't really do Mexican food. And the "Mexican" rice was actually rice pilaf. Wtf? Seriously? The icing on the cake was the kabob plate which we specifically ordered without bell peppers. It came to the table with bell peppers. My wife went to ask to have it made the way she ordered. The girl working behind the counter became argumentative and told my wife they are pre-prepared and don't come without peppers. That would have been nice to know before we ordered it that way and paid for the meal. They reluctantly refunded the price off the kabob plate and brought over the refund to our table. Each time one of the workers came over to say something, they each blamed each other for the lousy service and food. What a bunch of backstabbers. My advice, if you want a burger, is to go next door to Carl's Jr. At least you know what you are getting and what you are paying for. We've been to that Carl's Jr location numerous times and never been treated like a second class citizen. read more

Wow. I wasn't expecting much but I was pleasantly surprised! Thank goodness there's a fast food alternative that actually serves REAL food in Fillmore of all places! My husband ordered the "Texas Burger" and couldn't stop saying how good it was! He said it was the best restaurant hamburger he's ever had! I ordered a Gardenburger with avocado added and it was HUGE and very tasty! It was an actual gardenburger, not a cheap imitation that most restaurants serve. Yanni's service has drastically changed within the last year. I've had so many unfortunate experiences ordering through the drive thru, I think it's time to give up on this place...sadly. You'd think if you asked for extra of something and paid for it and asked the drive thru person if they made sure your extra ranch or fries or whatever you paid for is in the bag and that said yes, you'd have it in there...right?! WRONG! I've paid for so many missing food items or condiments, it's ridiculous. You can call to complain but the only response you get is "come back, show your receipt and get what you're missing" but when you don't live in town or you don't have time to get through the traffic that's coming and going from the 126 then have to wait even longer when you get to Yanni's for someone to help you or for the cooks to make your food, it's frustrating.
