Mediterranean grilled cheese
Alora M.

We were on a road trip traveling through Fillmore on our way to Sequoia national Park. There are no good pastrami places in Florida like there are in California. We happen to see Yanni's roadside sign advertising pastrami so we had to stop and go in. It's a nice roadside burger joint offering up a smattering of Mexican, Greek and American fare. There are several tables on the inside, and it was neat and clean. The staff was very friendly and answered all of our questions. I ordered the pastrami meal and my friend ordered the Mediterranean grilled cheese. My pastrami was very good, just the right amount of mustard and pickles. My only concern, and one of the reasons I took a point off was the bread was hard at the bottom. Not sure if it was stale or just right out, but the pastrami meat more than made up for it. My friend ordered the Mediterranean grilled cheese. She states it was very good with vegetables mixed in with the cheese. Her only concern was the 12.99 price for a grilled cheese sandwich. The pastrami alone was 14.99 and to make it a meal added an extra 3.50. ? California prices. Overall, a very good meal and they had so many offerings including all day breakfast. I would wanna come back just to try some of the other food they had.

Texas Burger with chili cheese fries
Ramiro V.

This was the first time trying this place out on the way to Santa Barbera and I have to say it wasn't as good as I expected it to be. So I ordered the Texas burger which sounded good and looked good but was to salty for my tastes. I also ordered a chili cheese fries which also was a big disappointment. The chili was not good at all but the fries were good so I just ate around the chili for the most part. The service was fast and friendly. It had that old dinner vibes which is always nice. Not sure if I'd come here again, so can't really recommend it.

Five stars -- my go-to spot! Yanni's in Fillmore is one of my absolute favorites! Their fresh-made salads are always on point -- crisp, flavorful, and made with care every single time. You can really taste how fresh everything is, which is why it's my go-to whenever I'm craving something satisfying and healthy. Not to mention a small old school vibe with great service! The quality is consistent, the portions are great, and it's the kind of place you keep coming back to because you know it never disappoints. If you love fresh, delicious food, Yanni's is a must!

Gyro Sandwich

Update: I returned for another visit and dined inside. It smelled like sewage that day (and service at register was meh) so I would try the drive-through instead.

Man this is my go to spot when I drive through Fillmore. They have the best gyro. This visit was no different, got the gyro, avocado bacon cheeseburger, and a kids chicken strip meal. Food is always fresh and flavorful, service is always on point, and always clean inside. I've never had a bad meal. Highly recommend this spot, especially the gyro sandwich. Stop by and check it out.

Chorizo burrito

Never going back to this place again. it's been like 3 times when they dont give me the right order & also the second time they give me food from past days. I order two small chorizo burritos & they smelled so bad !!! they put the leftovers in the fridge & warm them up again!!

The ground beef was not cooked, right plus, the hamburger buns was soggy, and they poured the whole salt onto the ground beef.

I was craving a hamburger homemade it was not cooked right the ground beef plus they pour the whole salt on the ground. Beef patty tested horrible. The buns of the hamburger was so soggy. What a disappointment

Tacos, rice and beans

Made a stop here for dinner on our way home from the coast. I ordered 2 chicken tacos with rice and beans. Everything was made fresh to order and was delicious. Staff was friendly and restaurant was super clean!

My meal was great would get it again , the Jamaica juice was also really good The outside setting was also really nice

Waited in the drive-thru for 40 minutes, only to get home and have inedible food. Eggs were not cooked thoroughly throughout (brown and dry on the outside and not cooked inside) , hash browns were definitely not 'well done' and the toast was not toasted. My daughter's food was made in a similar fashion and made her physically ill. The quality has gone downhill. Very disappointed. Even my cat would not eat the eggs and he loves eggs. Awful

Horrible. No management available. Poor customer service. What used to be good comfort food, is no longer worth it.

I thought you used to make a Chili Size. Am I wrong?

Hello, yes we used to have it years ago.

Does the Texas Burger really come all the way from Texas?

I believe so, heavy Texan accent and all

Does the garden burger use a vegan patty?

Hello thank you for your question. The patty is vegetarian.

We checked into our harbor hotel and ordered takeout from The Greek Mediterranean Steak and Seafood, which turned out to be an excellent life decision. First challenge: surviving the parking lot. I don't know who designed that little maze, but I emerged victorious eventually. Once inside, though, the place had a great energy. A dance floor, a DJ spinning genuinely good tunes, and massive windows overlooking the harbor like the restaurant knew exactly what kind of mood we needed. Service was fantastic. Our order was ready on time, and they also made me a dangerously good Negroni to go. Honestly, if someone hands you a well-crafted Negroni after a desert road trip, that's practically an act of community care. Back at the hotel, we spread everything out on our balcony overlooking the harbor while the sun set, and suddenly life felt very cinematic. We ordered the Sampler for Two, which included lamb chops, falafel, loukaniko sausages, spanakopita, dolmades with avgolemono sauce, tzatziki, hummus, hot pita wedges, and a Greek salad. Basically, a feast disguised as takeout. Everything was delicious. The lamb chops were flavorful, the falafel crisp, the spanakopita flaky and rich, and the whole spread felt generous and thoughtfully prepared. Portions were large enough that we saved the hummus and tzatziki for the next day, where they heroically returned as cocktail snacks. A true encore performance. This meal didn't just feed us, it restored us a little. Good food, great atmosphere, harbor sunset, Negroni in hand. Sometimes a travel day ends exactly the way it should.

Amazing!! I wish we had one of these in the SGV! We stumbled upon this place on a recent weekday…read morewhen we were in the area for a photoshoot. My husband had the steak gyro with fries. The fries were cooked fresh in a special seasoning and were a huge hit, even for my very picky 3 y/o. My husband devoured the wrap and said it was bomb. I had the Greek salad with chicken and I'd wished afterwards that I'd ordered the same for dinner because it was ENORMOUS to be eating for lunch. We'd been shooting for hours and hadn't eaten that day, so were starving, yet I still couldn't finish it. Ingredients were fresh, and portion was very generous. There's an ice-cream shop on 1 side and a cookie shop on the other side of this place, so plenty of treats nearby to keep your toddler busy while you enjoy your meal (like we did lol).

They load it with so much meat that it's hard to get your mouth around it! The pita is thick and soft, and you choose your own protein, sauce, and other fillings. Price is reasonable for this type of food. Side options for the sandwich are fries, rice, or salad (slightly higher charge for salad). The rice is fluffy but could use a little more flavor. We added a spanakopita, and it had wonderfully flaky philo dough and tasty filling. With the sandwiches, there was enough left over to take home and reheat in our air fryer. I haven't tried the dolma but look forward to those on a future visit. The shop is easy to access from I-5, just a little way off the freeway. It's in a shopping center, so there are many other restaurant and store options nearby, including a stuffed cookie shop right next door that is tempting. Counter service, with a few tables inside. If you like Mediterranean food and aren't looking for a full-service restaurant, it's worth a visit.
