Literally the best place to eat anywhere along Highway 126 that offers indoor and outdoor options as well as drive-through. Huge menu for such a small place, and the prices (although they've gone up a little lately) are still reasonable. Years ago the menu first struck me as a little eclectic (Charbroiled Greek, American and Mexican), but they make it all happen and do it all well. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as specialty salads, sides, and daily specials....a la carte as well as full plates. I love their hamburgers and cheeseburgers and their fries are really good but I felt like French toast so I ordered some paid $11 for three slices of Texas French toast only to get home and it was so dry and black. I didn't want to spend $11 for three pieces of toast but I thought why not have a treat and that's what I get don't order breakfast here. The cook is probably not trained with no experience.. they should offer your money back if the cook burned your food because I had to spit it out and throw it all away. This restaurant is the only one in town that is consistently bad. Like another commenter said "every time I eat here, I think the next time will be better" and the truth is, it just never is. The breakfast dishes are BLAND. The gyro USED to be so good, but it's gone downhill. And quickly. Both my boyfriend and I have gotten sick from sharing a gyro here. The manager/ owner and his wife, are terrible. They yell at their employees in front of customers, berate customers for trying to resolve complaints, refused to respond to questions about the procedures in place for covid (which indicates to me, they don't know them well enough if they can't explain them) All of this paired with their Willy Nilly attitude about wearing their masks, and ensuring they're worn properly, means that now and in the future, I'll be skipping this restaurant FOR GOOD. Wanted to try this place out for awhile. I finally did on the way home from a road trip. There was only one car inline so I pulled in the drive through and but my order in,( one Greek salad and a cheeseburger with fries) well after waiting about the same amount of time as my road trip took and paying $38 I found the Greek salad to be mediocre at best and my son who was "starving" said he could not finish his burger because is was "soggier than a dog in a bath". read more

I like their food even though it is far from where I live whenever I come by Fillmore I always crave this place. It's a real treat. It is a fast food place although the inside is very comfortable. They have the usual, BLT, breakfast burritos,colossal burger, fries, gyro sandwiches and more. I found that there is not free WiFi inside and there is a bathroom for men and women. They changed the menu inside from a written/letter board to a television set. Now you can watch the screen for your menu. There is also included television sets for tv such as watching movies and sport channels. Like most typical restaurants, there are booths along the sides and tables/chairs in the middle. You may also eat outside if you wish. The parking outside is big enough so you won't find it hard to park. Overall, the service is fast, 10-15 minutes long and the food is excellent. If you're out in Fillmore, try to give his place a chance if you can. read more

We met family here for lunch. We all ate at separate times because the food was very salty and we requested less salt. This particular item (kabob) is something I have ordered before and know what it usually tastes like. We returned 4 kabobs (and only got 3 back) and they tasted the same. We requested an alternative or refund and the manager refused and said they attempted once and that's all they're willing to do to fix it. I didn't know this business was thriving so much that they could afford to lose repeat customers . Awesome little pit stop with some healthier food alternatives. Falafel was a little on the crispy side, but maybe I'm being picky because I tend to enjoy mushier foods more (I know, weird). Ordered biscuits, had a little mix up & got biscuits and gravy brought out, and they immediately went back and brought out biscuits sans gravy and brought out the difference in change (even though we could have avoided this mistake ourselves if we had looked at the receipt right after ordering to clarify.) We have been going to Filmore for years and years and never noticed this burger place till today, we decided to stop by and boy what a wonderful choice, best burgers so far, we ordered a turkey bacon and avocado burger, a double cheese burger with bacon and avocado and a regular cheeseburger all with fries, everything was delicious and fresh, the French fries are fresh, this places has a huge selection of food, they also had a good variety of fountain drinks Like sodas plus horchata and Jamaica. I pass by this place every weekend on the way down to the beach. Finally, I was able to go in and see what all the fuss was about. Boy am I glad I did! The food: Children's Hamburger: 4/5, the beef patty could have been thicker but it was cooked well. The lettuce and tomatoes were fresh, and everything worked together really well! Great hamburger. Beef Taco: 4/5, the beef was tasty and cooked sooooo well. The pico de gallo was fresh and flavorful. The taco was small yet filling. Sweet Potato Fries: 5/5, probably some of the best sweet potato fries I have ever had. The were just crisp enough on the outside but soft on the inside. EAT THEM WITH THE RANCH. Pleasant surprise, good choice in this neck of the woods. Wanted to try the gyro, but at the last minute ordered the falafel sandwich. Pita was thick, soft warm. Falafel was tender, not greasy, flavorful, but a little dry. Came topped with fresh tomato, lettuce, a ton of sliced red onion, tziziki sauce. It was missing the tahini dressing Im used to on this. But, it was extremely fresh and satisfying. Also had the greek salad, which was topped with probabaly the best greek olives I have ever had, not kidding. (Watch out for the pits). Next time, I will try the gyro. The baklava looked really good, but 1.50 per piece was a bit expensive. read more

They claim worlds best charbroiled burger but when you walk in they have Greek, Mexican and American. Seems like they can't make up their mind. I accept this and decided to try their "best charbroiled burgers" which put them in immediate competition with In and Out And Habit Burger and fell very short, lack of flavor or anything that makes them stand out. My wife couldn't finish the burger and I have drank enough to have drunken munchies to finish but with out the help of alcohol I would have walked out and went to McDonald's. If I were to know this before hand I would pass by and go to a chain restaurant before going here. Very nice family restaurant in a small bedroom community. The staff was VERY friendly and provided service with a smile. Quite a few family's in here seemed to be enjoying themselves. Yanni's was recommended to me by a local here in Fillmore. The recommendation was legit. The menu options were so plentiful that it was hard to decide what to order. I ended up going with the Gyro meal with French fries. The food came out quickly and the presentation was beautiful. The portion was generous and the taste and texture hot and delicious. I actually got to meet the owner, Yanni! He came out from behind the counter to greet his customers and asked if they were enjoying their meals and if they needed anything. When he got to me, I introduced myself and thanked him for his delicious food and kind hospitality. I'll definitely be back to try another menu item the next time I drive thru town! Try it out.... But the food is definitely worth the wait. They always have sweet potato fries which are my favorite and they have great options for all sorts of food! Absolutely awful. The drive through girl has a chip on her shoulder and was short with us twice now. Not interested in going back. The kids working there were flirting with the cooks while we were waiting for our food. We will say that the place runs ok when the older folks are there, they are most likely the owners.
