I had a great lunch at Yard House yesterday. Our server was very attentive and was around frequently and re-filled our drinks regularly. The food came out quickly also and everything was great. This is the first time at Yard House and I had heard of their fried chicken dish so I had the fried chicken sandwich and a side salad. The salad was standard side salad with balsamic and it was excellent and I really enjoyed the fried chicken sandwich. The chicken has just the right amount of kick to it, and crunch. It rests on a tasty bed of coleslaw and the bun was delicious also. My only complaint that the bottom half of the bread was soggy from some sort of sauce. I ordered the Philly cheesestea without aioli sauce and bbq sauce. I asked for it on the side. my daughter asked for a burger medium. her burger was burnt. my cheesesteak had both sauces on it and the meat was very tough. I asked the waitress to send it back. I requested a cheeseburger. my cheeseburger came out quickly. when I looked at it and took it apart it had paper on it. I called the waitress to aske her what it was. it was paper and my burger was still bleeding from the top of it where the paper was. this was my first time there. very disappointed. will never return!! read more

This place is like a bougie BJs. It is a little on the pricier side. They have a wide variety of food on their menu. I've only been here twice but I had a great experience both times. They have great service, the portions are huge and the food is delicious. I recently came with a group of co workers and surprisingly it wasn't that busy during lunch. Maybe it's because theirs so many different food places in Addison. I ordered the southern fried chicken and it came with creamed corn, beans and mashed potatoes. The chicken was huge! I couldn't finish all of it so I saved half of it for dinner. Everything was delicious though. I heard they have a great happy hour menu with drink specials and discounted appetizers. This was my second time here. Service was decent but the food not so much. The chicken tenders were really bland and the breading came right off (see photos). The onion ring tower looked nicer but wasn't all that. The sweet potato fries were slightly over cooked. I had to mix the ranch and buffalo sauce together in order to eat the chicken. Yardhouse used to be much better back in the day. I feel the food and service has gone down hill. However, their HH menu is pretty extensive between food and drinks. The best HH item is poke nachos in my opinion. Sliders were decent but fries were pretty mediocre. Also the calamari was just okay. Our server on the patio was extremely slow and rarely checked up on us. Overall not the best experience so don't think I'd go back anytime soon. read more

Yard house never disappoints us! I've visited the location in Jersey twice and I can say the service, food, and atmosphere are consistent. We've come to this location three times in a span of 5 months from happy hour to regular hours. Waitress and waiters are typically always attentive and welcoming. Yard house is always my go-to spot when I don't know what I want, they have a variety of food so you'll always have options. I love the spicy jambalaya with white rice! The cheese curds and firecracker shrimp for appetizers are a must every time I'm there. I got the margarita pizza for the first time and it was so good. Our group of 4 dined in on a weeknight during COVID and had a good time. The host looked a little tired and not animated (they kind of set the tone for the evening), but it's okay because our waiter was amazing. We were given fresh cups of water whenever we needed refills, and we all thoroughly enjoyed our food. The giant soft pretzel was devoured quickly, and that beer cheese sauce had such a pleasant kick of beer flavor. My fish and chips were HUGE that I had to take half home for another meal (heats up well on a rack in the oven), and my husband thought his Nashville hot chicken was good but not the best he's had. My granddaughter said it's the first time she's ever had orange chicken that she didn't like it, Many of the flavor combinations are unusual they didn't always blend together. It was Saturday afternoon (Labor Day weekend) a little after 4pm when my guy an I checked out Yard House. We wanted to go to the Irving location at the Toyota Pavilion but since it was a bit of a drive we settled on this location. I thought it would be busy but I was wrong! We were sat right away in a large comfy booth. Chris was our server an he was on point with everything! We had the truffle fries for an appetizer an each had the Braised beef ravioli w/side Cesar salad. So much food! We could of easily shared the salad! My favorite out of everything was the truffle fries an virgin strawberry daqcari. I thought the red sauce was a bit overpowering an might of enjoyed it more if it was white sauce instead. The cheesesteak bread was bland and not seasoned. They over did it with the onion strings to try and cover up the fact that the cheesesteak itself had no flavor. They had an awesome drink selection! By awesome, I mean a bunch of different options for ciders and tasty non-beer drinks. Juicy and tender chicken that was perfectly crispy and just the right amount of spicy paired with their sweet potato pancakes dipped in maple syrup -- makes me salivate just thinking about it. The other dish I was excited to try was their black truffle cheeseburger but my friend tried their black truffle cheeseburger and didn't think it was that special. Reason I'm giving them 3 stars is because of the service. One of my friends had a flight to catch but we ended up sitting there waiting for them to bring out the last three dishes for 30-40 minutes. The server never came to check on us in all that time (and we didn't even come at a busy time... there were maybe 3 other tables in the whole restaurant other than us). They all then suddenly came out at the same time when my friend went to flag down the waiter which made us think the food was probably just sitting on the counter somewhere and the server had just forgotten about us.
