I am a huge fan of Yardhouse. It's a chain and it's pretty similar to Cheesecake Factory but what I think Yardhouse differs is with its cleanliness and service. We were seated immediately and got a table with a view of the snow slopes. We got a few things for lunch but we will definitely come back to try other things. Chicken Nachos 8/10 - Flavor wise was great but I wished there was a bit more toppings evenly across as well as more presence of cheese Steak Bowl - 6/10 - It tasted okay but presentation was not there as well as portion size. Beers are sold at different sizes but they do have the yard glasses as well. Drink options are great, something for everyone whether you like traditional brand or their craft beers. In summary: kind of like cheesecake factory with a big beer selection. Food is fairly similar quality (a bit worse), and prices are comparable. I've been to a few Yard Houses in Cali back in the day, and looks like things haven't changed much. This location is the smallest that I've been to, which unfortunately means a wait. Even though American Dream mall is fairly dead, we still had to wait 30min for a table (quoted 20-25), although that was on a Friday evening. Ordered the fish and chips. It was okay. Fish wasn't very flavorful, but there was a decent amount, and they did give some nice sauces (jalapeno tartare sauce was great as it had a kick). Also gave a generous serving of fries. I also tried some of the Nashville hot chicken which was a complete joke. I've been to Nashville earlier this year and had plenty of hot chicken, and this wasn't even close. For starters, it wasn't nearly as hot. And also the flavor was completely different... it had a hint of Korean flavor. I don't know if I'd return for a meal, but would be open to come for happy hour, which has some decent deals. Below average bar type food. Service was a bit lacking. Pretty disappointing end to a nice night at the mall. Been to a different location Yard House and remember having a better time with better food. Tonight to start sodas were awful. It was just flat tasteless colored water. After mentioning it to our server we were told that the soda machine may not be working. Why bother serving us a bad product? We had to request silverware after all but one of the entrees were served. We had to chase and wave down server 5 minutes after all the other entrees were served that an entree was still missing. Food was not enjoyable, but was better than inedible. Penne pasta was tender but too salty. Chicken was dry and over cooked. Appetizer noodles felt hurried and just didnt taste good. Ice water was cold and resfreshing. Had trouble trying to remember a restaurant with worse service and worse food. Could remember only one restaurant ... a bar in the Syracuse airport terminal which was the only food option open at that time that had only one server serving microwaved burgers and chicken fingers and french dip sandwiches to a desperate crowd. After exploring a few of the dining options at American Dream, we settled on Yard House. We put our name in and wandered the mall for around 20-30 minutes, while we waited for our table, a length of time that was perfectly reasonable for a Friday evening. The restaurant was like any other American sports bar chain in terms of atmosphere, however it also had a wall that acted as a window overlooking the Big Snow winter sports mountain. They also offered an insane amount of beers on tap, though I decided not to partake on that evening. Instead, I stuck to ordering food, starting with the Spicy Tuna Stack appetizer, which had a base of diced edamame and cucumber, a layer of raw tuna, and a lid of creamy avocado. The stack was topped with cilantro, nori, and a wasabi soy sauce that I found way too salty for my liking. In fact, while the components were bright and fresh, the soy glaze ruined the dish for me. My entrée, the Shrimp Bowl, was similarly over-sauced. The shrimp were perfectly cooked and tossed with a stir-fry made from sesame brown rice with red quinoa, mushrooms, snap peas, bok choy, carrots, red onion, baby broccoli, and red pepper flakes. Again, the ingredients were great, but the dish was an overall salt bomb. The bowl was supposedly on the "Under 700 Calories" section of the menu, but that sauce could not have been healthy. We parked by Deck A- the restaurant is located on the 3rd floor. It is a decently large space with plenty of tables and bar seats. There is also a huge window in the back where you can see people skiing/snowboarding at the big snow (indoor skiing place). We were seated in one of the booths towards the back, great view and great service!! We came around 11:20am and it was already starting to get packed. When I walked by later around 1pm the place was full! We got the chicken nachos to share (this was a huge portion, highly recommend sharing with like a few people). I got the grilled chicken and avocado burger, chicken was juicy and tender! My bf got the lobster garlic noodles, he said the lobster wasn't very fresh. The noodles were about $25 so I guess you get what you pay for. Chicken Nachos were about $15 and the sandwich was also around $15. The menu is pretty extensive; they have burgers, sandwiches, chicken dishes, steak, etc. Good American Food selection overall! I also recommend trying the beers under the Fruit section. Stopped in for happy hour on a week night and was pleasantly surprised. My bf and I ordered the blackened tuna sashimi and it was delicious. The service was great and the bartenders were friendly. After skiing I wanted to wash my hands before I ate but there was no soap in either soap dispenser. I came here for lunch with my mom after shopping at American Dream. The place was slightly hard to find and a bit of a walk from the part of the mall where all my go-to clothing stores are. It's kind of separated from the food court area; I wish all the food places were closer together. We were able to be seated as soon as we got there. The hostess was about to seat us at a high top but we asked to sit at a normal table and she accommodated us. We sat right by the windows which look directly into Big Snow, the indoor skiing/snowboarding park. Watching people snowboard while you eat = free entertainment lol. Side note, not sure if it's because you're right by Big Snow, but it's cold in there so bring a sweater. Their menu is pretty extensive, but nothing sounded good to me in that moment. I wasn't in the mood for something new. We ended up getting safe options: the grilled chicken and avocado sandwich, upgrade house fries to parm truffle fries, and a traditional caesar salad. We shared everything and it was the perfect amount of food for the two of us. The sandwich was surprisingly really good. Not that I was expecting it to be bad, but I was in a picky-eater mood so I didn't expect to like it as much as I did. The chicken was tender and juicy, not dry or over cooked, with a slightly charred grill flavor. I don't know what sauce they used but it went well with the other ingredients. I love arugula and avocado, and they were nice additions to this sandwich. The salad was just average, but it was simple and exactly what I asked for so I can't complain. The parm truffle fries were good as well. I definitely don't regret making that upgrade. You can also do sweet potato fries instead. Overall, I enjoyed my experience, but I don't know if I'll be back anytime soon... driving to and parking at this mall is such a hassle, I'd rather just go to ol' reliable GSP for clothes. Me and my family kinda like the sports bar vibe of Yard House and located in family friendly malls a.k.a. retail theraphy for wife. We got the Ahi Tuna Crunchy Salad, Fried Calamari, Sweet Potato Fries, Steak Bowl, Mediterranean Salmon and Pepperoni and Mushroom pizza. The kids love the pizza, fries and calamari. My bf wanted to stop in, so we did - this is a fancier type pub. There was pretty good variety on the menu. It looked as though there was no "regular" pasta, just egg noodle type for any type of pasta, which why the heck is asian-inspired food in a pub? I had a ton of lobster with my meal which was only $29, I'm surprised, and it was good. Although, if you get this meal make sure to chew properly, and don't talk until it's swallowed because the mushrooms and spinach almost got caught in my throat. The cheesesteak was also good, with the sweet potato fries - they give you other options but he just chose that. While we were eating we saw a crawling on our table and had to kill it. Stopped by Yard House, for dinner, and had a very enjoyable meal. The host was gracious enough to place us by the window facing Big Snow and it added to the enjoyment of the experience. Our server, John P,  was exceptional. He kept the drinks coming, our water glasses full, gave us plenty of additional napkins,, and was a gem throughout the entire meal The House Margaritas were perfect. They had the perfect distribution of rim salt and were strong. The appetizers were on point. The Poke Nachos had thin chips, a hint of spiciness, sweetness, and the ahi tuna was soft and flavorful. All of those ingredients combined for a delicious selection. The Spicy Tuna Stack was just as good. The stack was high and wide enough to have made it a meal. I recommend both of these items. The Mediterranean Salmon was a very good selection. The tahini sauce put this entree on another level. The bed of red quinoa was grainy and very good. The Shatake Mushroom Noodles were incredible. My husband and I stopped by for dinner on an early Saturday evening around 6:00, we checked in and were told the wait was about 45 minutes. So they took my number to text when our table was ready. We had just started to look around the mall a bit and they text us that our table was ready within about 10 minutes so we made our way back which was a pleasant surprise. We checked in at the desk and the Manager Shannon greeted us and brought us to our table. She was very friendly and asked if we had been there before, which we hadn't so we chatted for a few minutes and she told us about the restaurant and she gave us a great table with a view of the indoor ski park. We were next greeted by one of the best servers I can remember having in a long time, Sara... She took our drink orders and asked if we had any questions about the menu or wanted any recommendations since this was our first time dining there. I told her I had decided on the Grilled Korean BBQ Beef for our appetizer. She said that was a great choice. So she put in the order and went to get the drinks. After looking over the menu we also decided on the Calamari and the Kurobuta pork burger. The Grilled Korean BBQ Beef arrived first. It was boneless short ribs over jasmine rice w/ pickled vegetables and sweet soy ginger sauce. The beef on this dish was so tender and flavorful. I was so happy I ordered it. Next came the Calamari, it was a huge portion fried to a perfect golden brown w/ a spicy tomato sauce, and a roasted jalapeño tartar sauce. This was some of the best calamari I've ever had. Now for the finale came the Kurobuta pork burger. This was a pork patty topped with spicy candied bacon, White American cheese, Arugula, and House-made blueberry ketchup. I upgraded to sweet potato fries. I cut the burger in half and took a bite... So good! The flavors blended together perfectly. The burger was nice and juicy and the bacon was delicious, as well as the blueberry ketchup was a nice touch. The sweet potato fries were crispy and tasty as well. Sara checked in with us often to see if we needed anything and to refill our drinks. She was really great! As we were leaving the Manager Shannon again checked in with us to see how everything was, we both thought that was really nice and that's what makes for an excellent Manager. So all in all a great dinner and great first experience with the Yard House. We can't wait to return and try some more of their vast menu. It looks like they have a good HH menu too. Our server was great and friendly. We ordered the chicken nachos that can easily feed 3-5 people depending on your appetite, it was bigger than we expected! Delicious with a kick of spice. For the entree I had the Nashville hot honey chicken and sweet potato pancakes, I had the hot honey on the side to control the heat. Came here as a party of four for dinner on a weeknight. Wait for a table was about 10 minutes, then we were quickly seated. Our server was very friendly and helpful, and the inside of the restaurant was clean. Two of us ordered draft beers, they have an extensive selection of various flavors and origins. I ordered a local peach flavored beer (can't recall the name) and I enjoyed it despite not being a beer person. For apps we got the poke nachos and parmesan truffle fries. The poke nachos tasted better than I expected, with a good amount of toppings so you didn't have a lot of leftover chips at the end. The parmesan truffle fries were nice and crispy, and went well with our beers. For entrees I ordered the Margherita pizza which wasn't anything too special but still a decent pizza. It was just the right amount of grease, and didn't feel too oily. One thing I will say though is that our food did take a bit longer than expected to come out (maybe around 20-25 minutes?) But we didn't mind because we weren't in a rush and figured it was because it was a busier night. Overall, we enjoyed our time here and would definitely recommend it for a casual dinner. First off, American Dream badly needed this place. Considering the giant crypt of a shopping mall/entertainment center seriously lacked any kind of real decent sit down restaurant (if you exclude the highly priced Italian joint here) that lets you truly sit back and relax, this place finally gave us something to really enjoy. The whole place is cavernous and there are a ton of seats, with plenty of TVs and as you'd expect, a gigantic bar. The menu is what you'd expect at a Yard House, or for those of you who haven't been to one, you have a huge alcohol list along with some seriously major bar food on steroids with a real big selection. Not surprisingly, this place offers gigantic portions. Everything here is huge and unless you're starving you might want to be mindful of how much food you order. You've been warned! The lemon pepper wings we tried were great. The jambalaya pasta I got was solid and hit the spot. Burgers were good, even the house salad was nice (and humungous). The service was great and the whole place was spankin' new. How long they keep this place clean? Look, it's a chain so there's that to consider. That said, when I'm on the road and need something I know is safe this place has 2 things going for them. First, there is soooo much draft beer to choose from. Even if you don't like whatever food you got, just get drunk off the great beer selection! 2nd, the food is actually really good here. Every time I've gone it has been reliable. I just had the blackened ahi sashimi and the steak bowl, both were great. I was skeptical about the local places in Jersey where I am at so I went with what I know and I was not disappointed. My family and I recently went to the Yard House after spending the afternoon at the water park. I've been wanting to stop by here for awhile. I must say, I was very happy! The menu is great! There was something for everyone to get. My kids were happy, my husband was happy, and I was happy. My hubby ordered a steak sandwich, and I got a ahi tuna (which was simply delicious). Yard House is one of the few sit down restaurants in American Dream and I'm here for it. It's a casual spot with tons of beers/ciders/kombuchas on tap, satisfying food, friendly service, lots of TVs, and even has a view of the Big Snow slopes towards the back. It also stays open after the mall closes. Food: I really recommend the Spicy Jambalaya Pasta. The sauce flavor was good and the shrimps were cooked perfectly. I would pass on the chicken nachos - ours had maybe 2 pieces of chicken in it. The wings were your standard bar wings - we tried the buffalo and lemon pepper. The buffalo sauce was what you'd expect - spicy and tangy, but the lemon pepper was lacking flavors of well, lemon.. and pepper. The portions here are also HUGE. Drinks: They let you sample small tasters of the beers before ordering which is great. I went with a pineapple cider that was pretty popular. The pours here, should you so choose, can also be HUGE. Highly recommend that and the tuna tartar-inspired appetizer because it was outstanding. This new Yard House location was tiny compared to other ones I have visited (Nyack NY and Baltimore MD area). Because of this, the area between the bar and tables were pretty close. It was also interesting to have semi-open kitchen right next to our table. We ordered our usual wings and poke nachos which was just as good as any other locations. Burger was nice as well. Only issue was the waitress wasn't attentive. Drinks took a long time and kept forgetting things when we ask for something. Once I was waiting for 2nd glass of beer, when another lady who seemed like a supervisor came and asked if I wanted another beer. I told her that I ordered already with the waitress and she started press some things on our table tablet. Minutes later, I got my beer and thought maybe our waitress forgot again. About 10-15 min later, guy brings me another beer but I tell him I already got mine. Me and my wife were betting to see if we were charged 2 or 3 beers (I only had 2). Lo and behold, I'm charged 3.
