AWESOME dining experience. The "everything crusted" Ahi sandwich was incredible. Great draft beer selection. Great music, lots of TVs with good sports on. A sentence that probably won't make a lick of sense if you're over 40 (or reading this a few years into the future): we found ourselves at The American Dream Mall one Sunday afternoon hoping to catch a glimpse of Mr. Beast. (Unfortunately another 200,000 other people had the very same idea.) Unable to get anywhere close to 'the action' we dipped into The Yard House for a bite to eat and every now and then looked out the picture windows when you'd hear thousands of fans start to scream and clap because there was a sighting of someone from the world of Mr. Beast. After being seated - it was madness and mayhem out in the corridors vs. the serene and tranquil view of Big Snow in the opposite direction. And an interesting mix of (very loud) music (Against Me! to The Clash - can't ask for much more than that!) throughout the restaurant was almost powerful enough to drown out the lunacy happening throughout the rest of the mall. Some pizzas. Some chicken sandwiches. Some beers. Some sodas. Solid portions, good flavors, decent pricing. Most excellent beer menu as well. Incredible server. (It seemed like the whole staff weren't fans of the mayhem outside their windows but I can't imagine this place being that packed so early on a Sunday afternoon if it weren't for the spillover - like ourselves.) Today was my birthday and I was just looking to get a nice meal with my friend. We were sat by the snowboarding which was nice. We started off with a male server who was nice but ended up having to switch because he had to leave which is fine. Then we got a female server who has honestly given me the worst service of my life. After putting out food in, she never came to check up on us. We waited half an hour for a pineapple juice and a water. My friend had to eat her ice during her meal. Absolutely unacceptable. My margarita was a little too strong which was fine, I was waiting to ask our server to dilute it or add something to sweet to it. She didn't come until we were ready to leave. She never asked us how our food was. I had the Nashville Chicken Sandwich and I didn't like it because the chicken was fatty but I never even had a chance to tell her. Then we had to call her over for a Togo cup for the pineapple juice because we got it when we were done. As a server myself in both fine dining and casual restaurants, I am very understanding when there are mistakes done. My friends and I had coordinated a trip to the Jets game this past weekend and decided to have a few drinks before the festivities started. When you first arrive to the bar/restaurant, the first thing you can't help but notice is the view overlooking the Big Snow area. Since I happened to be seated towards the view, you get to see some nice tricks as well as some pretty rough falls. Nevertheless, it does entice you to try it out as well as giving kids the chance to admire the spectacle. The Yard House has a pretty extensive list of alcohol to choose from and a fairly big enough menu to find some food you might like. Our waiter was attentive and knowledgable so my selections were geared towards his recommendations. I went with the Golden Road Mango Cart beer and it was a nice blend of light and refreshing. The cheesecake brûlée I ordered was light and flavorful. Being that the Yard House primarily focuses on the alcohol aspect, the food wasn't special by any means but l had no issues with it. All in all, I had a good experience at the Yard House. For me, the extensive selection of beers, the attentive service, and the views in the restaurant/bar boosted this review to the 4 star range. After noticing I would have to wipe down the area infront of me, the bartender noticed the dirt and asked to wipe it after I had asked for a napkin to do it myself, swiping the dirt off the bar and onto my lap. The menu was encrusted with some food as well. Guess we were being served an amuse bouche? The attitude of the bartender and attending manager were extremely off putting. Coming from Miami, Yard house is usually a reliable "sports bar" we like to go to. Unfortunately our experience wasn't the same at the Yard house in the American dream mall. Last night was the championship game between the university of Miami and Indiana and although there weren't too many guests at the restaurant in total, the people who were sat at the bar were very much into the game. The manager Carlos who I spoke to at the end decided to promptly shut the TV's off at 11 pm when there were 2 minutes left of the game which we had gone to Yard house to watch. This was visibly a huge let down for everyone at the bar and upset us quite a bit. Coming from the hospitality industry we know how to "read the room" and Carlos did quite the opposite. I do not recommend watching games at this Yard house location as they might shut the TV off right when it's about to finish. Very disappointing, will not be returning ! read more

We had lunch at this location today. We met some family members we hadn't seen in several years. Food was very good. Service was outstanding! Our server, Julian, was one of the best, friendliest, most professional and helpful servers we've had anywhere. Thank you, Julian. But the overall experience was spoiled somewhat by the music volume level. This was early lunch - 11am. And the music was so loud that we had to scream to hear each other. When we mentioned this to Julian, he said that he had already mentioned it to the manager, who said he wasn't able to do anything about it. We asked to see the manager, who politely and courteously explained that he was required by corporate management to keep the music at those levels. (So don't expect it to be any different if you go.) It would be more appropriate at night. But at a mall restaurant on a Saturday morning with lots of kids and families, not so much. In spite of the good food and outstanding service from Julian, we won't be back and can't recommend this Yard House location. We tend to enjoy Yard House for the most part if you're looking for something with a bunch of different options that's pretty casual plus has a pretty decent happy hour. So.. we decided to stop here for happy hour... We sat at the bar which was horrible customer service and we wish we would have gotten their names but it was inconsistent, we ordered food and was never given plates, silverware or napkins even after asking twice, our waters never got refilled even though they were emptied... I ordered the Tuna Nachos (not exactly the name but something like it) which was actually reallllyyyyy gooodddd! I'm still thinking about it! But my wife ordered a BBQ Bacon burger, cooked medium and you can taste the meat was freezer burnt... we told the manager even though we weren't looking for them to remove it, just wanted to make them aware but they were kind enough to remove it. However, we noticed that our waiter also put two additional items on our receipt that we didn't order so we had to get their attention to get that taken off as well. So, overall it was literally a mess... we sat at the bar for quicker service and no frills but got literally a horrible experience. We came here after taking the kids to multiple kids attractions in dream mall as we didn't want to leave the mall. The wait was 40 minutes for a regular table at 1pm on a Saturday, so they gave us a high table. DON'T do that if you have toddlers. My daughter slipped and fell from the bar chairs. And a high chair would be too low for the high top table. As of the food we got so many different dishes and shared them. I really liked the orange chicken and cilantro lime chicken dishes. I was surprised as of to how thin and juicy the cilantro lime chicken, topped with yummy vegetables. My sister got the bbq chicken wings and they were amazing; the plate is huge and enough for sharing. We got margharita pizza and it's medium size. We loved it as well. Kids got pizza and Mac n cheese and it was big enough for the two of them to share and have some left over to take home. The server was really good and attentive. Went to American dream on a Saturday around 11:00. Walked passed yard house and it smelled really good so we had to give it a try. It was early so it wasn't that busy but by the time it was 12 it was definitely much busier. For appetizers we got the Guacamole and chips 4/5 $6.99 Pretty good guac and chips we finished the whole plate. Split between 5 people so we definitely did not have complaints. I would definitely suggest ordering it as an app! For the main entree Lobster garlic noodles 4/5 $25.49 The flavor was so good. The noodles were well cooked. The mushrooms were a good addition to the seafood and worked really well together. Fish and chips 4/5 $18.49 it didn't come with the rest of the food. A lady came by and said that it was over cooked so they threw it away. That it would be out in 2 minutes and she was looking out for it. Which I thought was nice they gave us an update. I have to say for a restaurant in a mall, the food is surprisingly. For the drinks I got the sunset sangria 5/5 $11.49: new amsterdam vodka, aperol, la perlina moscato, citrus agave, passion fruit, sterling merlot, strawberries, black cherry, pineapple, mint. The service was very attentive and friendly. The apps came out really fast but since it got extremely busy when the entrees were ordered it made sense it took forever to come out. I've been anticipating this opening after having a not-so-spectacular experience at a different Yard House location. The American Dream Mall location did not disappoint! First off, the view of Big Snow inside of the Yard House is great and I cannot wait to visit when there are people going down the slopes. It felt like being in a cool mountain cabin. We arrived around 8PM on a Wednesday and we were immediately sat down. Shoutout to our waiter Dom who was absolutely amazing! _____ FOOD: -Queso Dip (cheddar, pepper jack, queso blanco, roasted poblano peppers, guajillo chile, chipotle, warm flour tortillas & chips) -Gardein Wings w/ Korean Chili Garlic Sauce -Guac & Chips (red onion, cilantro, serranos, lime) -Shiitake Garlic Noodles (shiitake mushrooms, garlic, honey, parmesan, chives) DRINKS: -Long Beach Tea (hangar 1 vodka, bacardi rum, chavo malo tequila blanco, tanqueray gin, orange liqueur, citrus agave, cranberry juice, sprite) ____ For appetizers, we ordered the Queso Dip and it was actually really delicious. It came out hot and the tortilla chips accompanied them well. Since the Dip came with flour tortillas too, I would put one of my Gardein Wings in the tortilla and the put Queso right on top. Loved the serranos on top! This was the perfect app to eat alongside the Long Beach Tea, which was slightly sweet. For my meal, I decided to just order the Shiitake Garlic Noodles from the appetizer menu. I wish I would have saved some of the Gardein Wings to put on top of the noodles! The noodles were decent but were not my favorite food of the night. Next time, I will probably go for another meal or stick to appetizers and drinks! This was during Lent season so due to my religion I couldn't have meat, only seafood. Our waiter helped me decide what's really good and it was these Lobster Garlic Noodles! We are regular customers at the Yard House franchise. This is the first time at this location. The staff was very nice and welcoming. I had a baby with him so they were very accommodating with helping producing a high chair. The food was good. My cod sandwich was supposed to have the slaw on it and they didn't put much on it that I had to request for more. This is where the issue was. The service was extremely slow. By the time I received the slaw my sandwich was already cold. Prior to that I asked for target sauce and it took awhile for that as well. It wasn't busy in the establishment at the time I was there so there wasn't much of an excuse to why everything took so long. Even a request for water took nearly 10 mins. I would visit "Yard House" again, but not sure about this establishment due to the service. read more
