Tina's take: 9/10 I came here during happy hour with one of my friends. We both got beers and shared three Appetizers. I have to say it is worth it! For Happy hour the appetizers are half price and they are huge. We got the chicken nachos, boneless wings, and sliders. I have to say the nachos are very filling and were so good. The sliders were my favorite and they came with fries as well. The boneless wings were not the greatest but I would probably go for the bone in because I enjoyed the sauces. When me and my wife decided to head to this restaurant/bar, it was because the company I worked for had a couple of gatherings. There were great food and great classic rock music. This was many months ago. Today, however me and my wife was greeted with a very disinterested person manning the front who looked up at ceiling as if we were the worst type of customers. He seated us at a table next to the restrooms. Not to mention the menus that were handed to us were wet and sticky. Also the waiter that served us seems to be not so cheerful, seems deadpan when asking us what we wanted to order. So we ordered a couple of burgers, one with sweet potato fries and the other with truffle fries. The burger that my wife ate is in edible. She complained that it was too salty. It is like the chef put salt on both side of the beef patty. Also it was overcooked on the sides. For me the Kurobata Pork burger was just ok, nothing to rave about. Also the portion of the burger looks rather small. And the fries in the basket seem skimpy and there was no Parmesan truffle flavor. The music in this place was too loud and it was playing mostly hip hop . So loud, I cannot hear my wife speaks. This would be the last time we would go to this place for lunch. Dined here with 4 of my friends tomight. The service and food were ok. We even gave the server a $45 tip. We paid in cash and instead of burdening our server with multiple checks we just paid for one. However, after returning to the Hilton and reviwing our bill we discovered we had been charged $16.99 for Vampire Tacos that NO ONE ORDERED. I called them right away, but they said it was company policy not to refund bills paid in cash and instead to give gift cards. WTF kind policy is that. If this in fact company policy them I certainly don't want to patronize them again and use effing gift cards! UPDATE: Met with the general manager the following morning. He was very professional and polite. He stated that cash refunds via gift cards is not company policy. I was given a refund and $20 in gift cards. Food is bar type of food. We ordered a cheeseburger with truffle fries. Order of wings with an oriental sauce, fried calamari and Miguel's cheese dip. Miguel's cheese dip was amazing. Cheesy with some kind of creamy white sauce in the center. Wings were also very good and tasty. The burger was just okay but the truffle fries were very very good. The fried calamari was very hard and rubber band like. We could not chew it. We informed the manager that the calamari was hard and they were nice enough to take it off her bill. Decent restaurant in the top floor of the American Dream Mall which opened for about two months now. The wait on a Sunday afternoon was about 45 minutes. The staff was overall friendly but you can tell that they were pretty new to their jobs. Drinks was messed up (lemonade was strawberry instead of the passion fruit we ordered; beer was not the one we ordered). They have a large selection of food and drinks which was very great! The food was awesome. There are also plenty of bar seats and views of the games on the television screens. Overall, sports bar atmosphere with mostly Asian fusion food selections. read more

We came with a large party on a Saturday. The wait was 2 hours long, with no communication on what took so long. They evetually told us after asking 3 times that this one party of 2 werent leaving yet, so they couldnt seat us. The communication on whether we'd split our group or on how long to expect until we could sit wasn't there. The food was good. Our waiter was attentive and very accomodating. However, the corner area we were seated at had a speaker above us in the rafters and was so loud. The music reverbrated against the windows looking out the ski slopes and gave many in our party a headache with our meal. We requested on the music being lowered but were told it was company policy to not lower their music, "it was what they were known for." We are not happy with the lack of accomodations for their patrons. If anything they should have certain areas that can have the music adjusted. During my walk to the bathroom, the music did not sound as loud as it was in the back corner. Our experience here was tainted by the headaches we left with after out meal. I dont know if we would return again even if they are one of "the better restuarants" in the mall. read more

After some shopping and walking around, the American Dream mall complex, my girlfriend and I decided to stop and have some dinner here. We have been to a Yard House before, so we were familiar with the menu and setup. (Our first time at this specific location, though). My favorite thing about this place is the beer selection. They have so many good choice to choose from. Once we were seated, we started off ordering some beers. We both like IPA's, so we tried 2 different ones to begin. We just missed happy hour, but good to see they have some great deals from 3pm to 6pm. After a bit, we ordered the bbq bacon cheddar burger and a cheesesteak for our meals. The burger was very delicious. I really enjoy it. The cheesesteak was just average but still tasted good. It was nice they offer different types of fries, as we tried the sweet potato one, as well as the parm truffle fries. Overall, we had no issues with our food or drinks. Bar food that is way expensive and watching a guy that just snowboarded come off and sat here for 15 minutes trying to get a beer as he sat next to a pile of dirty dishes on the bar next to him. Our server was very nice and prompt. We ordered a few apps and meals: Pretzel, wings (naked) and a house salad. Enough to split up for 4 adults and 2 kids. I had the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich (spicy sweet slaw, white cheddar, toasted brioche bub). It was superb! Not over cooked and over spiced! I also had a bite of BBQ Burger that was cooked exactly like my son wanted. We also had a special order of sweet potato pancakes (yes you read that right) which my daughter enjoyed. I had a few bites of their steak bowl (grilled sirloin, stir-fried sesame brown rice & red quinoa, shiitake mushrooms, snap peas, bok choy, carrots, red onion, asparagus, red pepper flakes). It wasn't overly seasoned and the steak was tender. Their beer menu is like a book...so overwhelming but they offer flights which is awesome. Place is spotless! Bathrooms are super clean. Since I didn't have a pleasant experience at the food court last time I was here, we decided to try out this restaurant. We ordered the chicken nachos for appetizers which were pretty good but the amount of chicken was underwhelming. My friend ordered the dragonfruit cocktail that was recommended to us which we both disliked. My drink, the pineapple express, was fresh and not overly sweet. For entrees, we ordered the Korean BBQ sandwich and the vampire tacos. I suggest staying away from the vampire tacos. The cheese was way too overpowering and it was not enjoyable to eat. The waitress was friendly. They were pretty busy and she made sure we had all that we needed. I would come back here. read more

They were sent back, then there was a long wait for the new ones. They finally came, but the other salad we had been waiting on for an hour (while my friend ate her soup app) was still missing. The waiter apologized and offered to get the manager. The manager comped the late Caesar and sliders. Lots of TVs blared loud music videos: old 80s top 40 stuff like Phil Collins alternating with Beyonce and Destiny's Child--to promote her upcoming concert at the Meadowlands next door. Yardhouse is one my family's favorite restaurants, we go to the one in West Nyack regularly. We decided to go to the one at American Dream. The music was so loud that we couldn't hear what the person next us was saying. We complained to the manager and he said that there is nothing he can do because it is for a certain "vibe". He must of heard this complaint many times before because he had the answer memorized. Also, the restaurant is known for playing "classic rock" but most of the night it was Latin music or Hip Hop. Next, half the table's food did not come out until the first of the table finished their food. The waitress knew we were extremely annoyed and so when we were paying the bill she added on a 20% tip in the bill...like she added on through kiosk like she was the guest. I have never had a worse dining experience in one of my favorite restaurants. read more

It was Santa and puppy night at the mall ate at the bar excellent food and service was told puppies were allowed in a specific section. Came back later with my family for them to have dinner and was told I only have 8 servers on tonight and no one can take you over here. I guess the 4 servers who were standing around while I was eating an hour before were too busy.
