Hadn't been to Yard House in years, since they discontinued the enchilada stack, saw that they brought it back so we decided to come have that for dinner. We would usually go to the one in Long Beach so it was a first time at this location. If you ever tried their enchilada stack from years ago you will see it's not the same anymore although they claim it is with the same ingredients. Maybe it was an off night, idk. But I did NOT like them. Tasted entirely different. 2/10 Our waiter was great tho! Very attentive and on top of things. I ordered the cucumber mint topo Chico refresher and it was amazing!! I now make it just like that at home. I will be back only for the drinks, not a big fan of their food. Also, it was a Saturday night so it was packed, it's very noisy so if you're trying to do a quiet date night this is not it.

2.5 's to be totally honest. Inside gives a Dave & Buster feel, but less noise & chaos. We've ordered pick up meals from Yardhouse a few times and they were hit or miss. My daughter wanted to dine-in this time and it was still just okay (enough) Chicken nachos were good and filling. Definitely enough for two or three to share. I did find it odd that when I asked for a side of salsa, the server seemed very confused & returned with 2-sides of warm green & red enchilada sauce (NOT SALSA). How do you serve nachos with no salsa? That was disappointing. I decided to ask another server in passing for salsa or even pico...NOTHING! We also each tried a 2-taco combo. Carne asada and the birria tacos were both pretty bland (could've used that salsa...nvm). The shrimp taco was decent. Also, side of beans are served on top of the rice, so if that's not your thing be sure to mention it. I wasn't familiar with their tortilla soup, so the server let me try it and it was also ok. Came out looking & tasting exactly like a potato soup or a chowder. So if you're looking for an actual "soup", this ain't it. Cocktails were fine. Overall, this might be more of a happy hour spot...than lunch/dinner. Nothing made me want to return tbh.

Happy hour deal - this review is for their happy hour menu. The happy hour at yard house is excellent!! They have several options on their HH menu for 50% the normal price. Although HH is usually packed, you can order on the tablet and food comes quick. Ordering drinks requires a server but she was also very attentive. The inside is spacious with tvs all around and gives a fun sports bar vibe. I love coming here during sports!

Great service from Shayla, got a table quickly, & easy free parking. Not pictured is my pepper jack? Cheeseburger which was delicious, the sweet potato fries were too sweet so I just took them home and seasoned them. A friend got chicken wings and devoured them! Food did take some time to come out but I'll just take that as the food was very fresh! The brookie was unfinished, I can't recommend that. I think it was the texture, but maybe your kids would like it. The mocktail, omg. So good! Just try it, I was very impressed. It was refreshing and very yummy.

Grilled cheese was cold, tomato bisque was thin and tasted canned, French fries were cold. Won't be back.

A 3 because these type spots just really aren't my thing. Ie commercial type restaurants that are typically in suburban neighborhoods and serve the masses. I'm more of a private family owned foodie quality spot with an amazing vibe. That said, Yard Houses garlic shiitake mushroom noodles are better than Crustaceans. Their BBQ Chicken salad is huge and good. Their grilled cheese tomatoe bisque is decent but I won't order it again. The parm truffle fries and sweet potatoe fries would have been good if they were fresh and hot. There are as no one there, our food took a while and it came out cold. Odd combo, I'd expect 2/3 of those things but not all 3. Probably won't be back. Service was also slow. Parking across street was easy. First and last for me.

We came to Yard House for happy hour and honestly, you can't beat the deals! The food and drinks were amazing, and everything was such a great value. Our waitress was the best she was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had an awesome experience from start to finish and the atmosphere was amazing! We had such a great time and will definitely be coming back!

We went during happy hour and ordered the poke nachos, chicken nachos (HUGE and very shareable), plus a beer, wine, and a spritzer. Everything on the happy hour menu felt like a good value, with the poke nachos being a standout. Extra credit to our server for this one: BBQ Chicken Pizza wasn't actually on the happy hour menu (Buffalo was), and while we were deciding what to get, I reminded my husband that he always confuses the two, and doesn't like buffalo pizza because of the spice. Our server immediately offered to have the kitchen make a BBQ Chicken Pizza instead. We assumed it would be full price, but it was charged at the happy hour price, which was an awesome surprise and really shows how patient and accommodating she was. Unfortunately the Cali Roll Stack missed the mark. My teen, who LIVES for California rolls, took one bite and didn't touch it again. There was a lot of masago, (the little fish eggs) which we didn't love. It was *meh* at best and we wouldn't order it again, though we might try the Spicy Tuna Stack next time. Dessert (bread pudding and lava cake) was delicious. Huge shout-out to our server, listed on our receipt as Bahri M. She was funny, attentive, super patient, and (according my teen) a total baddie with makeup that was on point. Only downside: a $3 "Ziosk Games" charge on the receipt, even though we didn't play any games. We used the little table-too screen to pay our check at the end, because our server's section seemed to get busy. I'm not sure if that's why it charged us, but there was no notification of an extra charge for using it, and it was annoying enough to knock off a star on the review. Overall they had great happy hour food, generous portions, and excellent service. Just make sure you check your receipt for the Ziosk charge!

My first experience with the Yard House in Marina del Rey was okay. My mom wanted to go back for happy hour so I gave them a second shot. As always, the restaurant looks great, clean customer service was good, friendly and very attentive to our needs. These areas are never a problem. It's always food quality. Our first order was chicken strips with fries. The chicken was seasoned well and crispy. The fries were nice and hot and fresh, my mother really enjoyed this dish. We shared the carnivore pizza. The meat and the pizza was definitely overcooked and dry. The entire pizza was overcooked because there wasn't much sauce on the pizza as well. I also ordered the Poke Nachos. It was a nice presentation, the poke just didn't taste fresh. It seems like it had been sitting for a little while. Our server, Kaelyn provided excellent customer servicejj

They could never make me hate Yard House. Whenever I come here, I ALWAYS -- and I mean always -- get the garlic noodles. Mkay mkay! My best friend and I needed something light before starting our night, and Yard House immediately came to mind. We ordered the garlic noodles (mushrooms on the side), some wings, and of course, an adult beverage or two. Since it was St. Patrick's Day weekend, we asked our waitress if the bartender could turn our drinks green -- and babyyyy, she did not disappoint. My tequila lemon drop? Green. My bestie's Mexican 75? Also green. Festive, cute, and strong enough to set the tone for the night. We had a good little keekee over our meal and genuinely enjoyed the vibe. If you're in the area, you already know -- it's always a solid stop. P.S. We sat in the bar area, so the wait was minimal. Parking can be a little chaotic, but the parking God's tend to come through right on time.

We celebrated Mother's Day at Yard House in the Marina del Rey and had a really excellent experience. The service was the highlight, warm, attentive, and patient, even though it was a busy holiday. Our server made sure we were taken care of throughout the meal and helped keep everything running smoothly, which made the celebration feel easy and stress-free. The atmosphere was lively in a good way with a nice energy for a special occasion, but still comfortable enough to actually talk and enjoy the moment with family. food and drinks came out well timed and everything felt consistent with what you'd expect from Yard House. overall, it was a great spot to celebrate Mother's Day and the quality of Service really made the experience stand out. I want to give a shout out to our servers who made our Mother's Day experience extra special Tiara, Josh and Dean. They were excellent, personable and made the day really special. We loved all the food we ordered. Highly recommend. They do not take reservations but they offer waitlist on their website for up to 6 people. We were 12 so we just went early to beat the crowd.

Casual chain with American classics and wide selection of drafts. It's a good spot to stop by before a flight at LAX. My mom loves the lobster garlic noodles here so it's in our family's rotation of restaurants. The calamari is a good app to share as are the chicken wings (you can choose multiple sauces like buffalo or Korean). Yard house is gluten friendly and vegetarian friendly. I ordered the salad because we were eating a lot on the front end with the apps but my boyfriend likes getting the truffle burger a lot. It's not necessary to upgrade to the truffle fries. The chocolate lava cake is light on the molten chocolate and the vanilla ice cream is a bit icy so I'd focus more on the apps rather than dessert. They have a waitlist you can join on their website in lieu of making a reservation. Free garage parking available.

swooped by for happy hour on a friday. i came alone so i decided to sit in the bar area. my server was very attentive despite it being very busy. you can never go wrong with their malibu peach! every time i go i always tell myself i'd try something new but i always end up ordering my malibu peach, it's so good! their bbq boneless wing are a must! very tangy and sweet. my favorite appetizer is their poke nachos, the fish is so fresh and the sauces compliment it very well. yard house has never failed me, i will be at their happy hours a lot more now.

I like this and it's good portion.
    Janet L.

Great space. Quick service. The appetizer menu is good enough to order as an entree. Reasonably priced where you get a lot and take leftover home.

Belle's is located right on Venice Beach, which made al fresco dining very nice. We had a private bar as well as an array of appetizers. The servers and bartenders were very nice and accommodating. A group of us had the Marine Layer cocktail upon their recommendation. This cocktail was summery and tropical with heavy Japanese influence. The base was tequila. Yuzu and passionfruit provided sweetness and tang while elements such as mitsuba, chili, and lava salt added umami and contrast. Other drinks I enjoyed included their Mai Tai and Watermelon Margarita. I really liked the marg with Mezcal. The lychee spritz was also good. It was the most wine-forward lychee spritz I've ever had, but it was still very nice. The appetizers were delicious. I really liked the crispy rock shrimp, spicy tuna crispy rice, and yakitori skewers. The avocado toast needed a hearty sprinkle of salt and pepper, but other than that, the food was great. I had a wonderful time at Belle's Beach House. I would love to come back to try more cocktails and small bites.

What a wonderful surprise…read more I live just around the corner from Jamaica Bay Inn, and for whatever reason, it took me far too long to finally have dinner here with family and friends. I wish I'd discovered it sooner. The restaurant overlooks Mother's Beach, and the setting is exactly what you'd hope for: peaceful, relaxed, and quintessential Marina del Rey. You almost expect the view to be the highlight... Then the food shows up. For appetizers, we shared the hummus plate and the calamari. Both were excellent. As someone whose kids were practically raised eating seafood around the ports of New England, calamari is one of those deceptively simple dishes we judge pretty harshly. Beachside absolutely passed the test. I ordered the cheeseburger, which was solid, but the real stars of the evening were the roasted Jidori chicken and the jumbo shrimp fettuccine. The chicken was perfectly juicy, something that sounds easy but surprisingly few restaurants consistently get right. The shrimp fettuccine completely stole the show. In fact, it's now become my daughter's regular takeout order, and she's easily the toughest pasta critic in our family. Congratulations... you've officially earned the title of our favorite pasta spot in the Marina. The service was another highlight. Our server spoke both German and Italian, had a great sense of humor, and made the evening feel warm and effortless. Between the location, the food, and the hospitality, I already know this is going to become one of our regular family dinner spots.

If it weren't for Nahum, morning sun, and the breeze, I think we would have sent back our plates and left. Really. We didn't tell him there were any issues, because once the decision was made to stay, why ruin his holiday too? lol Ordered coffee. Dreadful. Ok, no big deal. The food came out and I could immediately SEE The Unappetizing . It's special when you can tell that your food is going to be bad before you take one bite. The French toast was Sahara dry, burned and flavorless. The chicken, was competing with it in the dry and flavorless category-- I really can't say which was worse. I don't really use hot sauce and I drowned the tenders in Cholula just to make it halfway edible. Literally we could have waited for the AMC chicken tenders and they would have been better, which is horrifying. Particularly when you try to avoid fried food in general and now you are poisoning your body for no good reason. Husband ordered a steak and eggs, medium well. I'll attach the picture and I'll let you be the judge of whether or not it was cooked properly. Eggs were not good either. Immediately, I gave hubby more than half my plate because he eats All of Everything that's put in front of him. Something would have to get up and walk off his plate for him to not eat it. He was taught not to waste food, period. The exception was steak so that he could take it home, cook it, and then eat it. This was possibly the worst meal I've ever had, and certainly on a special occasion. Parking: They have an adjacent paid parking lot though metered street parking is cheaper since they unfortunately don't validate. Ambiance: Really gorgeous inside, with high arced wooden beam ceilings, natural light through skylights, romantic dim lighting, candles, lots of potted trees for greenery, and velvet seating to add elegance. Even the plates are worth admiring. They have a nice patio with heat lamps for cooler evenings as well. I absolutely love the vibes for date night. I have eaten here four times now and have a reservation ready for my fifth. The menu changes EVERY WEEK and the fact that the ingredients are so seasonal, and the chef really seems to takes pride and passion in creating different dishes so often, keeps me coming back each time. They have done specials from Sunday Night $35 7-course omakase to 50% off Neighborhood Patio nights to $65 for two 4-course date nights and the quality is so worth it. I even came by for an art class hosted on the patio since they hold multiple community events, including sports watch parties. The best yellowtail I've had (including eating in Japan and various sushi spots in LA, OC, SF, and NY) was surprisingly here, at a place I was honestly hesitant to even order sushi from. It's the first time I actually really could taste the flavor as it's more subtle than tuna, salmon, or albacore but they somehow made it incredibly memorable from the freshness. Definitely order the hamachi with pomegranate. I loved the flavor with the ponzu and that it wasn't just the basic jalapeño combo. There was a Singaporean crab garlic butter noodle dish they made once that was incredible though sadly seemed to be on the menu that time only. This was my absolute favorite entree they've offered so far. The gem lettuces Caesar salad is amazing although unfortunately, both times I've ordered it without cheese, they forgot. The boquerones (anchovies) are a gem (ha) that really adds to the salad and I love the texture from the herb crust. Their signature shrimp toast has a good crunch from the sesame seeds and distinct pieces of shrimp rather than mush inside and the ikura on top adds another good layer of flavor. The vegetable curry was rich, flavorful, and savory witbout being too heavy with perfectly cooked potatoes that didn't just hide in the sauce in a way that actually didn't make me miss the meat. The short rib curry had such tender meat and the roti made in house was actually a major highlight for me as it was so flaky, hot, crispy and had an amazing garlic flavor. The chocolate pot de creme had a good orange zest flavor to add to the chocolate and wasn't too rich or heavy though the texture was thicker. The calamari had super crispy batter so didn't associate it as much with a lighter tempura one but the lemons in it and the roasted garlic marinara sauce it came with were so good and added a lot of depth. The butter curry prawns has SUCH well cooked shrimp - flavor was amazing. Miso salmon was good though crispy skin side up would have been better personally. I liked the olive oil flavor in the vinaigrette and the lemon with veggies on the side as well. The tres leches was surprisingly light for a cake and very moist so I enjoyed a lot and the caramel ice cream wasn't overly sweet. The lychee vodka drink is my favorite (came with a drink pairing they offered with Sunday omakase) and the imperial gold yuzu cocktail is better for those who like a stronger drink. The grilled asparagus was cooked to a tenderness with great flavor from the crispy onions on top that have somehow made it among my top favorite dishes here, despite it just being a small side vegetable dish but I didn't like asparagus until this! I would definitely recommend coming here for dinner over brunch personally, as those have been my most memorable bites. Definitely order the yellowtail sashimi, shrimp toast, gem lettuces Caesar salad! Hoping the garlic butter crab noodles, grilled asparagus with crispy onions, and housemade roti reappear on the dinner menu!
