Superba is a great bustling local eatery and coffee spot in the Venice area that I finally got an opportunity to try this location on the Westside. We didn't have a reservation during Sunday brunch, but fortunately, we only had to wait 10 minutes while enjoying a chai latte before a table opened up. Their claim to fame is that they bake their own breads and sweets. If you looking for a sugar rush, their cinnamon sticky bun was the bomb. I would definitely share the sticky bun or your blood sugar will go through the roof. Needless to say, the cream cheese frosting with orange zest was so good. I ordered the popular crispy chicken sandwich for lunch where the chicken breast was very crispy on the outside and juicy in the inside. The sandwich was also served with a slaw and jalapeno aioli. The french fries was an addition to the entire sandwich plate which made it a bit pricey. Service was good. Parking was limited in their small parking lot out front with street parking as another option. Prices were a bit on the high side overall but still relatively reasonable for the neighborhood.

The Shrimp Avocado salad was good. My friend enjoyed the salmon. The food is always pretty good and the prices are on par for the area. It's a big open warehouse style dining room. They open the big glass doors for a lot of fresh air. It can get a little chilly when it's windy so bring a light jacket if you get cold easily. There's a tiny parking lot out front. Otherwise it's street parking. The service was okay. It was efficient, but definitely not overly friendly. It's a good place for a casual work meeting.

I must say that I love this place so much after all these years. I had a new added salad called "chicken chopped"... it was perfect. I love how chopped it was. I love the chunks of chicken and all the different stuff inside it. It was wonderful and again I may have that next time as well. I love that they have new items on the menu and the lovely wait staffed woman was so amazing. She had the best vibe and we so appreciated her ... It was super noisy ( Sunday brunch crowd), but it did get quieter - we had a blast! Highly recommended for sure .

My fiancé and I have been to the one in Hollywood before so we wanted to try this location. There's limited parking available in their lot so we opted for street parking. We ordered the arancini as an app and then shared the Korean fried chicken for two. It came with bone-in chicken and tenders, along with toast. The food was decent and I preferred the tenders over the bone-in (normally it's the other way working for me). Service was quick and efficient.

I've been several times a go-to spot and I like that they take reservations. Nice atmosphere with the indoor and outdoor seating. My go to is the Paul's big boy plate and a green juice.

My visit here a couple weeks ago started off lukewarm to put it nicely. I was sat quickly by the hostess but proceeded to wait 10 minutes or so to even be acknowledged or brought water by the waitress. It wasn't very busy so I was getting pretty annoyed and I had decided to silently walk away and go eat at a nearby spot when the waitress finally came to my table. There was nothing that caught my eye within walking distance so I decided to stay because I have been coming since 2021 and the food is really good here. I ordered the Shrimp and Avocado Salad for the first time as well as the Rigatoni Bolognese and the red beet juice. As soon as the salad came, the beautiful fragrance of fresh white Vinaigrette (or something similar) swept me away. The salad was beautiful, plump, citrusy, light, and filling all at once; I was so pleasantly surprised. Visually, it was beautiful and stole the show. The rigatoni bolognese paled in comparison. It could have been served much hotter and with more meat sauce and flavor was lacking. The big clunky rigatoni pieces just overpowered what should have been a hearty savory meat sauce. I ended up not finishing the bolognese but completely cleared the salad. The beet juice was tart and delicious. The service experience was redeemed by the young lady who bussed my table. She was petite, fair haired and extremely warm and polite as she cleared my table. As I was walking away she said "thank you, goodbye," which really made a difference as I had initially felt ignored and felt my waitress was pretty cold towards me. Food here has soul, so I hope the staff can also bring forth some more heart and soul in their hospitality regardless of who they are serving.

Met my nephew for brunch in Venice Beach over Fourth of July weekend. So lucky to get the last parking space in front. He wasn't quite as lucky but managed to find a spot just a few blocks away. Love the outside bench seating. So nice to enjoy a sunny SoCal Saturday. I got a grain bowl. Sprouted brown rice, baby kale, avocados, almonds and an eight minute egg. What a great way to start the day. My nephew got a breakfast burrito which he enjoyed. A very nice place in Venice Beach for an easy brunch with family.

The service was great, everyone was very friendly and we got seated immediately for 11am on a Saturday. I had the toasted matcha and breakfast burrito, both were to die for. The Parker house rolls were good too. Would come back if I'm in LA again.

Stopped by on a weekend in Venice. Busy spot, most tables reserved, so we did takeout. Service was just okay. Not kid-friendly--only three high chairs, hard for families. While waiting, flies were buzzing around. They use canola oil throughout. Lox was tasty, but bread is too hard and you can't swap for a bagel.

Food here was absolutely incredible. They don't call it food and bread for nothing! The bread was so fluffy and warm and all the dips and butter that came with paired perfectly. The seating area feels like a garden, so beautiful and the wait stuff was very attentive and helpful. I will definitely be coming back again!

Superba is a cute little restaurant and although parking can be limited, there are often spots around the busy street. I loved seeing the bakery options and the menu had a lot of options for us to choose from. We all chose the burgers and fries and thought everything was pretty decent and the addition of bacon made it better.

Cold on outside . Hot in middle suggests it was NOt cooked properly. Would recommend other items first .

Little bit disappointed with this one. Ate with some people from the 222 app. Ordered the rigatoni bolognese at the suggestion of the waiter. I'm not sure why he recommended this one. The pasta either was microwaved or wasn't cooked evenly as it was cold around the rim, hot in the middle. The noodle was super cold, and a bit undercooked. Was so not to my liking , I had to make it a little uncomfortable and send it back in front of everyone. I replaced this with the burger and fries . It was way, way better. Still not amazing, but it was passable . Could be more juicier , and the cheese less dominating. The fries were Amazing. On the spicy side, chef used pepper flakes sprinkled atop. Surprisingly a good mixture !

Since my daughter's birthday was coming up, I thought about trying them out since their desserts were beautifully displayed... they should taste good, right? I ordered the current favorite flavor: red velvet, & asked if they could decorate it with pink flowers & birthday message in red. The cake looks plain with just 3 pink roses, but the birthday cursive was pretty good; however, for the price, it wasn't worth eating a super dry cake. Our family of 4 barely ate 1/3, & tried giving it away to our neighbors, who were also unimpressed. The Smack Pie was supposedly a decadent chocolate lover's sinful treat. It was meh... the ganache wasn't silky-smooth but did taste fudgy, the caramel was hard, & the peanuts were stale. We did enjoy the Banana Cream & Lemon Blueberry Tarts to offset the very dry birthday cake. Luckily, I bought these to compensate for the cake so the birthday girl was happy in the end. Sinners & Saints Desserts sounds like a deliciously tempting bakery but some of their goods miss the mark. I don't think I'll be purposely sinning here much. Recommended: Lemon Blueberry & Banana Cream Tarts.
