I had two shrimp tacos and one chicken taco, and everything was good. My friends enjoyed their meals too--one got tacos and swapped the rice and beans for a salad, and another had sliders with a salad. The only thing I didn't like was my Arnold Palmer, so I sent that back. But our waitress was very good, especially considering she was also handling a large party of about 20-25 people, so things were a little hectic. I wanted to share because I hope management sees this. The food was great and our second waiter was wonderful , super kind, patient, and professional. We tipped him well because he genuinely made our night better. Our first waiter felt off from the start. I came in with my son and our party had just been separated for a second, and I tried explaining it but I phrased it awkwardly and it came out wrong (like one of those "oh no I just misspoke" moments ). Instead of letting me clarify, he immediately cut me off, talked over me, and gave me a weird look, even though I wasn't being rude at all. Later, when helping us order from the machine, he came across as tense and overly dramatic, like he was overreacting to tiny things. He snapped about not being able to "listen to two people at once" when my husband and I accidentally spoke at the same time, which felt like he just doesn't have the patience for customer service. He also didn't tell us we were being switched, which was confusing. One of my favorite places for happy hour (M-F, 3-6pm). Love that they still do happy hour on holidays. It gets really crowded and wait times might get crazy after 5pm. I like their fried calamari, pizzas and sliders. I recommend upgrading the fries to truffle fries or sweet potato fries. I wish they would put the onion ring tower back into the happy hour menu though. Service might be a little slower when they are busy but it's worth the wait. read more

On this day, we arrived shortly after they opened and the place was quiet, which is really nice during this crowded-everywhere time of year. Our server greeted us warmly and was very friendly. The service was a little casual as it seemed everything was getting up and going. But extra drinks were brought out when she noticed we were running low. Went in to Yardkouse in person to make a reservation for a High School graduation party of 18 family members. Had called three time prior to going. Spoke with personnel advising we should come in, inperson 2hours prior to the arrival time (4pm) to make the reservation since they couldn't take the reservation over the phone for a party that large. Needless to say, I go in and was told if I can come back in an hour before the parties arrival time at 4pm. Talk about not have their hospitality serives on point. I would not recommend this place for large parties. Plus two weeks ago I went in and had the Chicken Alfredo and some of the noodles were hard and did not have a good taste. Went for just some drinks and appetizers with a gf, had a good time and good food! My friend took me to try the poke nachos specifically and glad she did, so flavorful. It's shareable but honestly you can also eat it as an entree I would say. We also wanted something small to add to the table and the spinach dip was perfect. Our server Stephanie was great and attentive to our needs, beers were always full. No need to ask, she anticipated/timed it perfectly. Today was my sister's graduation, so we came to celebrate at Yard House with a party of 9. When we arrived, we were told the wait would be about 1.5 hours, and we agreed to wait. Unfortunately, the employee forgot to put our name on the waitlist. While we were waiting, two separate parties of 10 arrived after us, put their names down, and were seated within about 40-50 minutes. After waiting over an hour ourselves, we asked for an update since we had arrived before them. At that point, the employee said they needed to check with the manager about our wait time. We were then told it would be another 1 hour and 15 minutes. By then, we had already been waiting for over an hour due to the restaurant's mistake. What was most disappointing was that neither the employees nor the manager seemed to know how to properly handle the situation. The manager's excuse was that it was a hectic time, but there was still no apology, accountability, or attempt to make things right. Instead, we were simply told to continue waiting, so our night was ruined and we ended up leaving. This was supposed to be a special graduation celebration for our family, and the poor communication, lack of accountability, and terrible customer service completely ruined the experience. read more

The two Hostesses in the front were very friendly, professional, and welcoming and even let me play with their Hotwheel in the front pretending to run over my Enemigos John Wick Style before seating us in the tastefully designed dining room ;0) The Hostesses courteously matched our pace while walking us to our table and happily accommodated Austy's request to sit in a specific booth by the Kitchen Ninjas and in Master Server Anna's Section for the evening! We were on a tight schedule because of our plans to tango with the latest Gerard Butler Movie in about half an hour after we got seated, but Anna offered us excellent assistance in choosing foods that would be prepared quickly and nourish us thoroughly! Austy and I chose the Chips and Guac Appetizer and the Two Taco Plate with the Fish and Birria Tacos with the Spicy Rice and Beans. I asked Anna to recommend me a gourmet Mocktail and she happily helped me select the Scorched Melon quickly as one of her Spirit Free Favorites! I was super impressed by how well all the Team Members were focused in their roles and highly effective in the consistency of the speed of Service! Our drinks were ran out quickly in sparkling clean glasses and the limes we requested were already cut gorgeously in bright and juicy wedges, and my Scorched Melon looked like a Suavecito Bebida Mutant straight out of a Marvel Movie with it's uniquely Stylish and Badass Presentation! I loved the fun and refreshing flavors of the Scorched Melon and it paired perfectly with our Mexican inspired Appetizers and Main Dishes of the evening! Austy didn't have much of an appetite but the Chips and Guac were prepared so fresh and beautifully he still finished the whole bowl with me, and I absolutely LOVED my Birria and Fish Taco Plate with the Spicy Rice and Beans! The Kitchen Ninjas did a wonderful job presenting my Meal in a highly refined and Artistically Sexy way, and the Tacos were hot, satisfying, crispy, and absolutely perfect to celebrate the special day of me getting hired at our Hometown's Olive Garden Cave. Anna was a supremely effective and efficient Server and did an incredible job informing us of all her favorite Yard House dishes we should return to try like the Sweet Potato Pancakes with Chicken and Garlic Noodles! My sister and I always loved to go to the YardHouse in Chino Hills, but since she moved up the hill, we haven't been able to go. Tonight we decided to see how the drive to Rancho Cucamonga was, and we were glad we did. Service was great! Love this place but today was a miss for me but the drinks came on time and that is a plus for me

Came here for a quick team lunch with a group of 9 and left honestly disappointed. We arrived about 15 minutes early with 4 of us already present and asked if they could start seating us so we could get appetizers and drinks going while the rest of the team arrived. The restaurant was nowhere near full, and the hosts initially looked ready to seat us, menus and silverware in hand. Then we were told they would not seat us until the entire party was present. We explained we were on a tight schedule and just wanted to get things started. This wasn't a large, disruptive group, just a small team trying to have an efficient working lunch and spend money. Still, no flexibility at all. Even asked to speak with the manager, hoping for some common sense. No help there either. Completely unwilling to accommodate a very reasonable request. So instead of standing around wasting time, we took our business elsewhere. Went over to Paul Martin's American Grill and had the exact opposite experience. Seated immediately, great service, and they took care of us without hesitation. It's frustrating because this was easy business for Yard House, especially during a slow period. Instead, they chose policy over practicality and lost a paying group. Used to like Yard House, but this experience definitely changed that. read more

We got seated quicker than expected on a rainy day. This location was relatively small compared to others, but they have a lot of servers working! The best thing was they have outside seating, kinda like patio seating but all covered up and you couldn't even felt any rain coming in even when it was raining! The food was very good and portion sized was great. Everything came out fresh and it's always good to ensure the food quality meets expectations. Both our servers- guy with glasses and shorter lady with blonde hair (i wish I had their names) checked up on us quite frequently, which I'm glad cuz we were tucked into the edge in the center of the patio. It was very busy today, but we were sat down as soon as checking in due to having no preference on where we sat. We asked for a high table if it was available, and we received it. Service was pretty normal and attentive. The cheesesteak was actually really good because I normally get a burger or nachos. Nothing stood out and gave me a "WOW!" Even though they were extremely busy, everything was top-notch!!! We arrived here last night at 6pm. Not too busy, lots of empty tables. It took about 15 mins to get seated. That's okay. But the service was slow and the food not hot, just warm, and I swear, my Cheesesteak, while very tasty, was smaller than the one I had in Hawaii. My guests loved their tacos and my wife loved her chicken bowl. Just wish the service was better and the food hotter. We were there for over an hour and a half, no drinks, just food. She was constantly checking in with our table to make sure everything was good and made sure our drinks were always filled. This is also in a nice location (Victoria Gardens) where you can easily shop or make a cute date night/day after you've eaten here. Sadly, the food was severely lacking. For appetizers, we had the brussel sprouts and the queso dip. The brussel sprouts were really salty and oily. We had to dip the brussel sprouts into the sauce, which was sweet and creamy, to balance out the flavor. The queso dip was okay. Much better than the brussel sprouts. I ordered the fontina vodka penne. It wasn't great. The pasta was not cooked well and the chicken was bland. What added flavor was the cheese and sauce on top. I didn't finish it. And it was $20+. I came here on a Sunday afternoon with family excited and ready to eat at one of my favorite restaurants. It was pretty busy and the parking lot was very crowded. I did have a larger party of 9, and they told us it would be a 3 hour wait unless we all sat separately. I didn't understand why it would be so long, and it just seemed like Kendall, Jordan, and Nichelle were just trying to get us to leave. They were not friendly at all and were contradicting each other. I did not feel welcomed here. There were parties of all other sizes (7) getting seated before us within 15-30 minutes. I honestly love this place. I've been here many times over the years, but hadn't visited in a while. I met a friend here for dinner and it was nice to catch up over a meal. It wasn't busy upon arrival and we were seated right away. Our server was really cool and didn't rush us through the meal. They had Monday Night Football on all the screens, so that was fun. Oddly enough we could hear the game really well and we both commented on how usually they're playing music. They have some good non-alcoholic drink options and our server was kind enough to point them out to me. They even have some non-alcoholic beer like the Heineken Zero which is really good and a couple options from Athletic Brewing Company. I saw they had mules and asked if I could get a virgin mule and was told that wouldn't be a problem. It wasn't served in the copper mug like some other places, but it was still delicious and refreshing. I'd been craving their onion rings and my friend was up for sharing an order, which we typically do when we come here. They were so fresh and delicious!
