Even though they were extremely busy, everything was top-notch!!! We arrived here last night at 6pm. Not too busy, lots of empty tables. It took about 15 mins to get seated. That's okay. But the service was slow and the food not hot, just warm, and I swear, my Cheesesteak, while very tasty, was smaller than the one I had in Hawaii. My guests loved their tacos and my wife loved her chicken bowl. Just wish the service was better and the food hotter. We were there for over an hour and a half, no drinks, just food. Came here for a quick team lunch with a group of 9 and left honestly disappointed. We arrived about 15 minutes early with 4 of us already present and asked if they could start seating us so we could get appetizers and drinks going while the rest of the team arrived. The restaurant was nowhere near full, and the hosts initially looked ready to seat us, menus and silverware in hand. Then we were told they would not seat us until the entire party was present. We explained we were on a tight schedule and just wanted to get things started. This wasn't a large, disruptive group, just a small team trying to have an efficient working lunch and spend money. Still, no flexibility at all. Even asked to speak with the manager, hoping for some common sense. No help there either. Completely unwilling to accommodate a very reasonable request. So instead of standing around wasting time, we took our business elsewhere. Went over to Paul Martin's American Grill and had the exact opposite experience. Seated immediately, great service, and they took care of us without hesitation. It's frustrating because this was easy business for Yard House, especially during a slow period. Instead, they chose policy over practicality and lost a paying group. Used to like Yard House, but this experience definitely changed that. read more

I"ve visited the Yard House several times, several different locations. I requested a spoon and then after two tries to get a clean one, I assumed that the server was visually challenged because each time Helen Keller could've noticed that it was dirty. Was here for a work event. read more

I really love this place to east with friends. The service was great and the food was amazing. The scenery inside is ok but sitting outside is really nice because of the scenic views from the rest of the garden. The only downside I have for my experience was the lower portion in fries and a bit too much of arugula. Other than that I really enjoyed dining at this establishment. read more

Today, I had an embarrassing experience. A bartender named Kelly mocked me and made me feel like trash; I realized she was sharing the situation with her coworkers and other customers at the bar, all while laughing at me. She assumed I didn't have the $140 to pay the bill--even though I actually tipped her $30--yet she still treated me poorly. I believe she is a racist person who looks down on us as Latinos and tries to humiliate us. I had played a joke on the manager--something that had nothing to do with her--but she took it personally. This is the first time I've had such a terrible experience at this place, and I don't think I'll ever be back. Thanks, Kelly--keep my $30 tip for your stress. read more

I came here on a Sunday afternoon with family excited and ready to eat at one of my favorite restaurants. It was pretty busy and the parking lot was very crowded. I did have a larger party of 9, and they told us it would be a 3 hour wait unless we all sat separately. I didn't understand why it would be so long, and it just seemed like Kendall, Jordan, and Nichelle were just trying to get us to leave. They were not friendly at all and were contradicting each other. I did not feel welcomed here. There were parties of all other sizes (7) getting seated before us within 15-30 minutes. I honestly love this place. I've been here many times over the years, but hadn't visited in a while. I met a friend here for dinner and it was nice to catch up over a meal. It wasn't busy upon arrival and we were seated right away. Our server was really cool and didn't rush us through the meal. They had Monday Night Football on all the screens, so that was fun. Oddly enough we could hear the game really well and we both commented on how usually they're playing music. They have some good non-alcoholic drink options and our server was kind enough to point them out to me. They even have some non-alcoholic beer like the Heineken Zero which is really good and a couple options from Athletic Brewing Company. I saw they had mules and asked if I could get a virgin mule and was told that wouldn't be a problem. It wasn't served in the copper mug like some other places, but it was still delicious and refreshing. I'd been craving their onion rings and my friend was up for sharing an order, which we typically do when we come here. They were so fresh and delicious! I also opted for the poke salad and that really hit the spot. It wasn't too heavy and had great flavor in every bite. The arugula was a nice touch! I've been coming to Yard House with my family and friends in Victoria Gardens for many years, and I'm surprised I never wrote a review until now. Every visit here has been consistently great, and I have to give a special shout-out to Edith, who is hands down the best bartender ever! She always takes care of family and friends, and her service is top-notch. Thank you :) The food here is pretty good too. I highly recommend starting with their spinach dip, lobster and crab artichoke dip, poke nachos, fried calamari, chicken nachos, and chicken lettuce wraps--perfect appetizers to share or enjoy on your own. As for mains, you can't go wrong with the Lobster Garlic Noodles, spicy Jambalaya, or the filet mignon. Each dish is flavorful and satisfying. The restaurant is always clean and tidy, including the restrooms, which are well-maintained. They also have outdoor seating, which is a great option if you prefer dining outside. Overall, Yard House is a solid choice for food, drinks, and a great atmosphere. Definitely recommend this place if you're in the area! Note: some items in the menu may have changed. Today was my sister's graduation, so we came to celebrate at Yard House with a party of 9. When we arrived, we were told the wait would be about 1.5 hours, and we agreed to wait. Unfortunately, the employee forgot to put our name on the waitlist. While we were waiting, two separate parties of 10 arrived after us, put their names down, and were seated within about 40-50 minutes. After waiting over an hour ourselves, we asked for an update since we had arrived before them. At that point, the employee said they needed to check with the manager about our wait time. We were then told it would be another 1 hour and 15 minutes. By then, we had already been waiting for over an hour due to the restaurant's mistake. What was most disappointing was that neither the employees nor the manager seemed to know how to properly handle the situation. The manager's excuse was that it was a hectic time, but there was still no apology, accountability, or attempt to make things right. Instead, we were simply told to continue waiting, so our night was ruined and we ended up leaving. This was supposed to be a special graduation celebration for our family, and the poor communication, lack of accountability, and terrible customer service completely ruined the experience. read more

Went in to Yardkouse in person to make a reservation for a High School graduation party of 18 family members. Had called three time prior to going. Spoke with personnel advising we should come in, inperson 2hours prior to the arrival time (4pm) to make the reservation since they couldn't take the reservation over the phone for a party that large. Needless to say, I go in and was told if I can come back in an hour before the parties arrival time at 4pm. Talk about not have their hospitality serives on point. I would not recommend this place for large parties. Plus two weeks ago I went in and had the Chicken Alfredo and some of the noodles were hard and did not have a good taste. My sister and I wanted to have a late dinner. My sister had just arrived from her flight and was feeling hungry and so was I. So I suggested going to Yard House being that I have a Yard House back home in Long Beach and I totally love their friendly service. I figured it would be the same here in Rancho Cucamonga but for our surprise staff weren't so friendly here! The first thing the host asked us if we wanted to sit on the high tables. My sister and I really wanted a booth so I asked if we can get a booth instead and they say it's going to take a long wait. I asked like how long and they say 15-20 minutes. I said we can wait. In the meantime we go to the restroom since I drove from LB to Ontario Airport and needed to go. As my sister and I walk to the restroom we see several empty booths. We thought it was odd. As I'm in the bathroom my phone rings to let us know the booth was ready! The restaurant: Was good not too many people which meant it wasn't noisy and we were able to hear each other talk. The waiter: Was friendly and always checking up on us. The only thing is that he didn't keep my drink glass full. I had to ask him for a refill. The staff: So there are staff that are assigned to bring the food to the table and the guy that kept bringing our food had a problem because he kept banging the plates down on the table! He didn't seem so happy that he had to bring us our food! The Food: My sister and I opted for the Tomato Bisque soup. When we tried it, it was like we were eating a bowl of spaghetti sauce, my sister said it tasted more like a bowl of ketchup! It was too sweet! I think it needed something else to make it less sweet. The main course: I got the cheddar burger and the bottom of the meat was burnt. I asked for medium done and it was more like well done. The cheese was really melted. I ate it because I was too hungry to return it. The fries weren't even hot they were just warm. My sister got the sliders and she said they were alright, nothing great! Her fries were the truffle fries they were good but not hot either! Dessert was the Cheesecake Brûlée. It was good. The conclusion: I don't think we're coming back since there's other restaurants nearby that we can choose from where we can get better customer service and better quality of food that is not cold or lukewarm when it's supposed to be hot. read more

Had a quick date night at the Victoria Gardens Yard House. The place was clean and very lively, but they got is in pretty quick! SERVICE: Our server was very nice and got us some drinks very quickly. now who doesn't like a good late night happy hour? decided to come here with a work colleague after work, after a long day - a blue moon is sometimes needed. I am a huge fan of the Yard House. Typical service is really really good and the food is also very good. I love the appetizers especially the Poke Nachos and Cheese Curds. Also love their beers and they always have something new to try. I have found some great beers because they are inviting and don't give you a hard time when you ask to try something. We came to this location on St Patrick's Day so it was expectedly busy but we still were able to sit pretty quickly and the service was great. If someone goes to lunch, they have back up that made sure we were taken care of. We were planning on having dinner but ended up ordering all appetizers today: Poke Nachos, Bavarian Pretzel, sliders and fried calamari. It was all so good. I had a Jameson Old Fashion and it was really good. Some places don't make a decent Old Fashion but the Yard House Old Fashion was really good. The place was really jumping and lots of activity but a great crowd and service made our night a fun night. read more

I went to this restaurant for a group meet up over the weekend. The restaurant is easy to find in Victoria Gardens on N. Mainstreet (located right cross the street from FOREVER 21). I only had drinks but the majority of my group enjoyed their meals. (Lobster Garlic Noodles, Ahi Crunchy Salad, Grilled Chicken & Avocado Sandwich, Firecracker Shrimp, House Margarita, Sunset Sangria.)
