Burnt Medium Rare Hamburger - 1/10
    Thomas Y.

So, apparently you can't order a medium cooked burger without getting it charred black on the outside here! My burger came out medium rare which I love for a good steak but not for a burger. Ok, that's not great but almost acceptable but then the outside is charred black! The manager came and tried to come back with a proper burger but came back again more bloody red and again charred black on the outside. He really didn't apologize and tried to justify it was because they use open flame grills and it's not possible to get a medium burger without burning it - uh what! So - if you want a medium burger without a burnt crust - it's not possible at Yard House!

    I tried

I had the lobster garlic noodles after reading the reviews but what I got was a lot of flavorless noodles with very little lobster about 10 leafs of Spinach 6 shrimp nothing like the pictures what a dissatisfying purchase the few shrimp had flavor the one lobster claw was okay and the lobster scraps really give someone this mess the Satake mushrooms were good. The few I had and that's it. The dog enjoy the noodles so I guess it didn't go to waste no garlic taste.

One of the few bars that carry gluten free beer and have enough items on the menu that are gluten free. I love their tacos, maui chicken and steak. Service is always good except the one time we had an issue with one of the cleaners. It's a great atmosphere to hang with your friends or grab a quick bite even if you're alone.

I went to Yard House on a training work trip, as I was looking for some good food and good service. I went during the day and it was really packed with people waiting. This was around afternoon time, around 4pm. I didn't want to wait for a seat, so I went to the bar and ate there. The drink that I got was okay, the food was fine too. The service was okay, neither good nor bad but they were attentive. It was very brightly lit in there, so it was a very nice place to take pictures. I may go again if I am in the area, but it was just standard lunch/dinner, no complaints from me.

We had a really great experience here! We came in on a Friday night around 7:30 and put our name in for 5. They told us it would be about 10-15 minutes. We went to the bar to order drinks while we waited and by the time our drinks were there our table was ready! We had a really nice table that was squished. We ordered the nachos as an appetizer and they were great!! It's a very large portion and also was very tasty. We ordered our entrees as well and they came out quickly. I had the steak bowl which was great. Our server was very attentive and kind. Overall had a great experience and would come back!

In terms of appearance and ambiance, Yard House at first glance looks like your standard bar for casual eating and to watch sports, however, their menu is slightly more elevated than most bars and also more diverse. The poke nachos appetizer surprised us and had very fresh tasting marinated raw ahi tuna on top of crispy wontons as the "nachos". The shiitake garlic noodles appetizer was also a hit with plenty of garlic flavor and soft flavorful shiitake mushrooms. The beef in the carne asada tacos were also marinated and cooked very well.

From our server Quinn to the amazingly prepared and fresh tasting food, it was back to what I originally thought of this chain. It was a Monday night so it was not busy and there were 7 of us so we were seated right away. Our food arrived very quickly after we ordered and looked amazing. I love that they offer seasonal menus so you are almost always going to find something new on the menu. Additionally, the summer menu is all under 600 calories. That's a bonus! I ordered the Grilled Corn Flatbread, hubby had the Avocado Toast, and my niece got the Filet Mignon. I didn't take a pic of every person's orders - just those flanking me. The Flatbread was excellent - it had cheese and spiced bacon as well as sour cream so the taste combination was excellent. Hubby said his Avocado Toast was the best he had ever had. I had a taste and it was very good. My niece said her Filet was perfectly cooked and not dry or tough. I'll be back again - thank you, Quinn, for how personable and helpful you were to our family.

She was amazing and not only made menu recommendations, but she also took a series of photos of us. The restaurant bar area was lively but not overly boisterous. Ambiance is nice with dim lighting. Super clean restrooms and overall spotless. Staff quickly turned over tables and booths and were thorough in cleaning. This was my first time dining at this location. Plenty of well-lit parking and security drives through the parking lot frequently. There's also an entrance from the mall(Somerset). Great evening of celebrating and catching up with my Sorority sisters. We're already planning our next visit!

The eggs and chicken were fine, but the tortillas were a soggy mess. The server never asked how I liked my food, not even when she took away a mostly full plate. I do want to start with some thoughts before I give the highlights. We were charged a percent for using a credit card. I cannot speak to the in-person menu, but I combed the online menu and it did not mention that. We were also charged for ranch. Most places do not do that, and we were not informed there would be an upcharge. Most places allow you a sauce to go with fries. Also, for my meal, there is an image of an extra sauce which it did not come with, but we were charged for two small portions of ranch. Last, the server was just okay. I always enthusiastically ask questions to get to know more about a place. I asked if they had any other fruity drinks. She pointed to the drink menu and indicated just the Paloma. I said, but you have a full bar, this is the only fruity drink you make? She did not want to ask the bar, but I asked her to. The bar apparently only came up with one other drink idea, which I ended up getting two drinks listed on the menu (both very good) but it seemed like work for her to go out of her way to inquire. I also bet they could have made many fruity drinks, like maybe a Mai Tai, or some equivalent. Oh well. On the other hand, the Paloma was actually very good. It was a quality Paloma and I do recommend. Their other drink was seasonal with lavender, also a very nice drink. Most of the other places, like Honcho, I have no problem with getting a variety of drinks or inquiring about them, and the bar tender here did a great job. I came here because I was targeted by an ad on Instagram. This place was not on my radar, but since they created a meal (Steak-frites) very similar to Le Relais in Paris and New York, etc... I wanted to try it. It came with bottomless parm fries. The fries were crispy, savory, and delightful. The steak was super well cooked and was like butter. You did not even need a knife, it cut with a fork. Since I love next day leftovers, the steak was still super delicious and tender the next day. It was still like butter and cut with a fork. I would absolutely come back for that and bring the rest of my family. We also tried the tri-tip sandwich. We were told the bread was made fresh. I thought it was very good and very tender. My husband would have liked an au jus or horseradish sauce. He would try the hamburger next, but I would love another steak-frites, like right now! We were sad the coffee and pastry section closed early. In the past, at Honcho, we would get coffee and pastry after dinner since their coffee tends to be really good and quality. I would consider coming for brunch to try some. We talked to a gentleman who was part of the business as he was working hard. He was very kind and knowledgeable and took the time to hear our thoughts. I told him I was here for the steak. He thought I had a "but". I did not, it was great and I hope they can maintain that price point and the second serving of fries, because that was my main reason for visiting. He let us know the menu recently changed. I am not able to compare since this was my first time, but I liked that they had a steak dinner and pizza. If we come back my oldest loves this group's pizza, she gets it at Vinsetta, and this one looked very good.

For a kid with sensory sensitivity, this was the perfect timing to dine in. I was a bit sad to see the restaurant so empty and hope it was largely our timing. However, I can't negate the construction and horrible economic conditions as questionable contributors. The space is vast, clean, and today was peaceful. Generally, it's a lively atmosphere, cricket and kids in the background, and lots of gathering and conversations. The staff is always friendly and warm. One of the staff made sure to come by our table to check in mid-meal. It's a simple gesture and it makes me feel warm and welcome. We ordered gobi manchurian, masala dosa, veg fried rice, a mango lassi for my son and sugar cane juice for me. My son's favorite was the masala dosa- a comforting blend of flavors and textures, sambar was absolutely scrumptious. I practically inhaled my gobi, which is one of my favorite dishes. Perfect spice/heat level, well balanced and nice crunch from the bell peppers and onions. The veg fried rice was a safe third dish in the event my son was craving something familiar, and it ended up being satisfying but our least favorite of the order. I will say it was prepared well and I love the threads of vegetables throughout. Mango lassi was a nice buffer for some of the heat for my son, and my sugar cane juice was a surprisingly savory/sweet quencher for the ride home. Oh. And a scoop of butterscotch ice cream for the boy. Overall I am a loyal Neehee's fan and look forward to many more visits.
