I have been here a handful of times. It's always super chilly in here so bring a sweater! Aside from that, very accommodating, welcoming, and servers seem to know their stuff. What to expect when you dine at Yard House: average food basically interchangeable with Applebees, TGI Fridays, etc. and subpar service. On my most recent experience, for lunch, our server appeared disinterested in doing much of anything. Even though the restaurant had just opened and was maybe five tables above empty, he still managed to disappear for long periods of time. Eventually, he came by to say he was taking his lunch break (which would be roughly an hour after the restaurant opened) and another equally disinterested waiter came to take his place. I'm assuming that many of you who come here do so because the line for Cheesecake Factory is too long. Do yourselves a favor and find something else. read more

I never followed up on my visit when I was finally able to get that S'mores brownie. Guest Services came thru with a gift card due to my disappointing first visit. I used the card in 2014 when I went to visit my brother in Atlanta. What an amazing tasting delight! It took me about 3 or 4 days to actually finish it. I'm writing this review now to say thanks to Guest Services for coming thru on customer service by responding to my initial review. Thanks also for creating one of my favorite memories with my brother by allowing me to visit another location. My brother passed away a month ago and I shared the story of him watching me eat that whole dessert and laughing at how much I was enjoying it at his memorial service. I see the dessert is no longer on the menu. That's sad to see as I'd already started planing to visit for his birthday and have the dessert in his memory. I'm here quite often and usually it's with a fairly large group. It's a great go-to place especially considering the hours. They crush the competition around them as far as I'm concerned. I've only ever had one meal I didn't really love and I think it was just an off day but one out of about twenty isn't bad. I appreciate that the waiters will always steer you in the right direction when it comes to both food and alcohol. Service is very attentive. I'm not a big drinker but the beer selection is impressive as well as their own mixed drinks. I've sampled a few and enjoyed them thoroughly. Get the sweet potato fries to start and try to keep the maple bacon dipping sauce to yourself because it's just that good. Mac and cheese squared is awesome and a little on the rich side so bonus - tomorrow's lunch. Southern fried chicken is a definite favorite with the slightly sweet gravy, sliders are good and consistent, the Korean short ribs are absolutely amazing and the pizza is surprisingly good. Some of the desserts are great, but I often have to choose (calorie wise) between a drink or a dessert and I usually pick a drink over the little desserts because they are honestly that good and the servers suggest nice refreshing cocktails. My little one loves it here too, always treated very well which I notice is usually the case with children there. There are off days of course like anyplace but nothing so far that would sour me on this place. This is a definite nice addition to the area and a smart move. read more

RidgeHill is a nice mall, full of restaurants, shopping and a movie theatre. I've been to the Yard House about 3-4 times and I have yet to be disappointed. It's good quality bar food. I'm a fan of the Ahi Crunchy Salad as an entree (seared rare ahi, field greens, asian slaw and crispy wontons tossed in soy vinaigrette). Their guacamole is really good, mac and cheese, and tacos. They have a great beer selection and their Mini Trio Sampler for dessert is excellent! I had really good experiences in previous visits that include both great tasting food and attentive service. I picked up some take out over the weekend and I was quite disappointed, the chicken was a bit overdone and the spinach mashed potatoes were lacking spinach and the portion was very little. Just seemed rushed and was expensive for what it was. I guess I'll stick to going during the week when the lines don't go past the door. So if you're looking for a decent dining experience go during the week. Yard house is situated in an outdoor mall called Ridge Hill. Be prepared to pay for parking here, you don't have much of a choice unfortunately. The walk to the restaurant is pretty nice, lots of fountains and benches all over the place. You're going to be waiting for a bit despite it being a huge restaurant. Once you're seated, you'll be greeted with some 100ish kegs or so on the left. The menu can be a little overwhelming, its borderline cheesecake factory style, but everything that we ate was good. Come here with friends, order half a yard, drink it all up and then get another half yard. I would recommend against ordering a full yard unless you're married to one particular brand of beer and don't want to experiment. There are tons of TV's here, but I am not too sure about whether or not they play PPV fights. read more

I visited Yard House for the first time as I was celebrating my friend's birthday. The drinks were very refreshing. The Kobe beef over Jasmine rice as an appetizer was exquisite. Initially I ordered ribs but the appetizer was really filling. I told my waiter and he was accommodating in updating my order to a small order of Jambalaya instead. I would have liked prices on the beer but waitress told me price varies. Waitress-Danielle-friendly and helpful in picking out a beer. Fortunately, I also walked in during happy hour where drinks and appetizers were half off. Got to try the mouth watering firecracker wings here. I love sweet and spicy wings and these were finger licking good. They also gave me plenty of wings, I was in heaven. Some of the best wings I've had in a while. I also tried to the bbq cheddar bacon burger. I'm not big on bbq so I asked them to put the sauce on the side but they told me the burger is marinated in the bbq. Yeah, best idea ever. Biting into this burger was an experience. instead of grease leaking out of this thing, the bbq sauce squeezes out and starts a party in your mouth. I was truly happy. We ordered a bunch of drinks and food; but all the time we were there, we just kept worrying about our table's size and mannerism (wobbling); kinda awkward really since we ordered Seared ahi Tuna, Korean BBQ, Guacamole and Chips, truffle fries, Fried Calamari, Hawaiian Burger and The Jambalaya Noodles. We had creme brulee in the end. can't complain about the food except that I wish everything didn't come at the same time, kinda ruined the mood, a lot of food with a tiny and wobbly table .A let down really. Just finished an awesome dinner with my wife, daughter and friend. Upon entering the restaurant showed a large bar area with a very long tap section! They have lots of beer on tap! If beer and American traditional food is your live than this is your paradise. The seating is dimly lit so you could pass a romantic dinner here. But don't get it confused with black tie affairs ghis olace is also for a guys night of drinking and food or a family dinner. They have flat screen TVs showing a variety of sports. The food was great. I ordered the full rack of ribs which were tender, flavorful and delicious. My wife ordered the Jambalaya pasta and her friend the Avocado swiss burger. All was great... Except for our mini order of calamari. Don't get me wrong it tasted great but it wasn't quite enough to share. The portion was just too small... To accompany my ribs I ordered the traditional beer sampler. It consist of 6 5oz shooters of some of their tap beers. That was a great way to enjoy my entrée. Being soo stuffed we just shared a dessert. We had the apple cobbler with ice cream. This was just enough for one but we all had one spoonful. I've been twice and was quite satisfied each time. My first visit was in the afternoon and the food was delicious. While my second visit was on a Friday evening. The best part about YardHouse is their phenomenal beer selection and a large number of Vegan/Vegetarian selections! Their menu is expansive and diverse. They offer various fusion and American staples: tacos, wings, pasta, salad, burgers, and large variety of appetizers and snacks. My only two objections are the volume of the music and lack of lighting. But the beer and food definitely make up for it! This is a great shopping center and YardHouse provides great options for those with dietary/nutritional restrictions, while still offering hearty, tasty items for everyone to enjoy! The drinks were very good. The service was acceptable. The food was prepared as ordered. They have a lot of fancy sounding items on the menu. We were there with friends and four kids (all under 8 yrs old) so we were not there for a long dining experience. Burgers were tasty. Served on a fancy brouche bun. My only complaint is that our service was a little slow. He was very friendly and helpful, but when we were ready to leave we had to practically hunt him down. If you are eating here with the family, be warned that at some point the lights dim and the music seemed to get louder. But that is to be expected in a sports bar, but wanted to mention it. The rings came sort of dry and small but the batter was ok I must say . The chipotle sauce was good and the ranch was good but I ended up using ketchup because I'm so used to other locations rings and sauces that this just didn't compare ( red robbin ) My girlfriend ordered the orange chicken and if she can give it a 0/5 she would . She didn't like anything about it and I tried it and I didn't ether . The place is a little dark and you immediately notice many pipes leading to the bar that consist of hundreds of types of beer. I am not a drinker, but it is clear that this is a place for people who like to unwind and hang with some buddies. The food is alright. The portions are very small, and the prices are a little steep (considering the small ammount of food allotted). I had a $30 steak and I was still very hungry when I left. Typically, my fiancé struggles to finish a meal. At Yard House, she is licking her plate! I think that rating it 2 stars would be unfair since it clearly is a fun place to be at if you like to try different types of drinks with friends. However, the small portions of OK food on top of high prices does not give this restaurant a stellar review. The Onion Ring Tower is recommended as an app! read more

I'm a Yard House frequent flyer so to speak, and thought I'd finally write a review. I come here once a week during Happy Hour. YH has a terrific selection of around 130 beers on draught and a good happy hour menu. Sample selections are wings (several varieties--I'm a fan of the Firecracker) chicken lettuce wraps with 3 really good Asian dipping sauces, chicken nachos (probably the best deal on the HH menu, since they can easily feed 2 very hungry people), poke stack, burger sliders with fries, and my favorite, BBQ chicken pizza, and a couple dozen other items--all for $8 or under. If you sit at the bar and come more than a couple of times, the bartenders will get to know you and what you like to order (they know I'm an Ithaca Flower Power IPA guy). There are a lot of other things on the menu, of course, a range of salads, 10 or more types of burgers, tacos, numerous sandwiches, mac n cheese, and a large selection of appetizers and main courses. It ain't haute cuisine (and I'm too cheap for any of the entrees over $15), but the food is pretty good. All in all, a good place, which is why I keep coming back. read more
