    Sangria

Great place for Taco Tuesday or any other night of the week. They have daily specials which were reasonably priced. One Tuesdays they have buy two tacos get one free which worked for me. I started off with a Sangria (during happy hour) and it was very good. I ordered the fish, lobster and cajun shrimp tacos with the Mexican corn. The fish and lobster were very good but I didn't really care for the shrimp - it didn't have much seasoning or taste. That corn though was really good - I had it on the cob but you can get it off the cob if you want. I ended with the brownie with vanilla ice cream not that was absolutely delicious! My waitress was very nice - everything she recommended was on point (especially that brownie lol). Definitely a place to go to again and again - the food and price is worth it.

Great interior and service! There is so much to choose from on the menu that you want to try it all. My fav is the Kung Pao Shrimp Tacos. I've had the chicken teriyaki bowl, not my go to, but I love the tacos. It may be busy as it's on the strip of a bunch of restaurants and right across a college, close to a high school, so be aware of your timing. Wish I had photos of the food but I don't because I ate it as soon as it came lol, it's that good.

My job catered from Westchester Taco Grill and the food was such a hit! They provided a variety of tacos with all the fixings and even packed separate boxes for chips and guac! The beef empanada and dipping sauces were my favorite.

I got the cheese steak taco (VERY cheesy) and the spicy pork taco (which was tasty, but not really spicy). I also got a plain cheese quesadilla, which was fine, but very plain with minimal cheese and no seasoning. And that's not their fault--I ordered a plain cheese quesadilla, and that's what I received. I just didn't anticipate how bland it would be compared to the tacos. I would order from here again, but next time get a flight of tacos. They have friend and grilled fish tacos, steak chimichurri, several styles of chicken, and veggie. You can order their signature tacos or can make your own. They also have burritos, bowls, empanadas, and various sides and entrees. Tacos are a little more expensive than what I'm used to--all between 5.00 and 5.75--but it wouldn't stop me from eating here! I didn't have any of their drinks, but people seem to enjoy them!

tried they coconut shrimp (mango taste was different but good) and Mexican street corn off the cob. Service is a bit slow and $7 for one taco is a joke !

So glad i found this random taco spot when looking for a meal one day. I was originally going to go to the restaurants next door when their TACOS sign drew my attention. I Love me some tacos. When we first entered the waiter greeted and and allowed us to take our time looking through the menu before deciding if we wanted to dine. We appreciated that he didn't bombard us or make us press pressured. When we decided to sit in, we wanted a corner and they respectly had one of their employees Move from our table to allow us to be seated. We looked at the menu which was physical, not a QR code and we ordered three nonalcoholic drinks. It was the hibiscus tea water, raspberry lemonade And peach Arnold Palmer. All the drinks were delicious but my favorite of them all was the hibiscus. We decided to get the Mexican corn and the guacamole and chips as appetizers. To be honest it was one of the first times I have ever gone to a Mexican restaurant that perfectly balanced the guac and chips without having leftovers of chipS. The Mexican corn was alright but that's because I'm not a fan of mayonnaise. The aDuya rice bowl was probably the best for the buck from the restaurant. It was a huge bowl and the food was seasoned so well!!! My best friend decided to make her own rice bowl with teriyaki chicken. I'm not gonna lie I did enjoy the tacos but that rice bowl, especially for the price and quantity, was BOMB! Some of the tacos that we got were the Buffalo cauliflower (wrapped in lettuce), Kung pao shrimp with black sesame seeds, tequila lime taco, coconut shrimp taco, and the steak chimicurri taco. All the tacos were delicious. For dessert we got fried churro sticks and the filling inside was to drool over. A must have spot if your ever in the area or looking for a good Mexican spot.

A modern sports bar/tapas bar vibe. Interesting dishes, mainly Mexican with a Asian and American twist. The bowls were huge, couldn't finish. Friendly service & good cocktails.

Ordered 3 tacos. Kung pao, tequila lime, chipotle shrimp taco. I'll be honest and say they were just okay. My favorite was the kung pao which was sweet and crunchy. The chicken tequila lime was very spicy as it seemed someone took a handful of jalapeños and threw it on the top. That was truly the only flavor I got from this one. And the avocado was already browned. The chipotle shrimp taco was also underwhelming. The mango was very much unripe and hard/crunchy. The chipotle on the shrimp wasn't prominent. All in all, not bad tacos. Just meh.

Ok so the wife and I were in the mood for Mexican and looking to try a new place and this came up on my search in yelp. Reading the reviews I figured I had to give it a shot. I honestly would never have expected such fresh tasting food to come from a place located right across from a college. One of my pet peeves is a Mexican place that does not bring chips and salsa to the table, it's like an Italian restaurant not bringing bread to the table, it should be a staple! Anyway my wife told me to get over and not be so cheap and just get the guacamole and chips. The chips had a nice crisp and a slight taste of salt but not over bearing, the guacamole had great flavor and a nice kick to it, my wife did not like the spicyness of it, if they included tomatoes in it, it would become my favorite of all time! My daughter had the cheese quesadilla and was a fan, she took it out of my hand when I went to try it, so that means two things, 1. She really liked it or 2. She was starving because she did not like what they gave her at day care for lunch, I'm going with option 1. My wife had two tacos, I know for sure the coconut shrimp and I think the beer battered one. She said they were amazing and fresh and full of flavor. I had the fajita wrap which was great nice flavor in the dipping sauce and very cheesy!! My wife also had these garlic plantains she said they were very good I liked the garlic dipping sauce with them. And to finish the meal off who could resist dessert. I had the churros and she had the tacos. The tacos came in a bath of ice cream, honestly I think the guy just forgot about it in the heating window, it was soup with taco shells in it with chocolate chips. The churros were good nice and fresh, chocolate sauce was a nice touch but I would have preferred caramel or raspberry sauce. A lot of food coma to a large amount when it comes to pay, we each had an adult beverage and the bill was closed to 100.00. I will be back and I will be bringing friends. Truly a great local place!!!

Large serving size especially in a 4.5 soft taco yet it was simply not hitting the spot in terms of taste. The mojito also was giving margarita vibes. Nonetheless, the ambiance was very appealing and cozy. Definitely a spot to hit up after a game at Iona or another school in the area.

Wow. I just went to here with my boyfriend's family for his birthday and I'm so glad I did…read more The food was amazing. We ordered the porterhouse, creamed spinach, calamari, baked clams, the jumbo baked potato, and some pasta. The porterhouse was perfectly seasoned, and it was enough for three people to share. Whatever sauce the baked clams were doused in, I need that recipe. I used the complementary bread to soak up some of that juice and it was amazing. Their espresso martinis were also really good and strong. The only thing I did not like was the jumbo baked potato. It just felt like there was Velveeta cheese slathered on top, so if there's an item I would pass on, it would be this one. Just get regular mashed potatoes. The service was amazing. The owner came out to meet with us multiple times. Our waiters were very attentive and gave us ample time to order. They literally cut our meat and served it for us. The ambience was really nice. It's your usual steakhouse joint, with dim lighting. However, the best part about this dinner was that they seated us in a private room with one other party. It was very intimate and nice and I don't think I could've asked for better service. The cherry on top was that they came out with limoncello shots to end the night. If you're in the Westchester area, please definitely come check this place out. It is worth the money, time, and effort. You will not be disappointed.

The owner was very gracious and offered us six complementary oysters since we couldn't sit at the bar. The oysters weren't our favorite that evening, the rest of the meal more than made up for it. The rest of the meal was very enjoyable. The crab cake was enormous, the grilled octopus was excellent - my son loved it - and the veal with prosciutto and melted cheese was tasty. The baked potato was huge and cooked perfectly. I ordered a cocktail and they made me one with elderflower which was nice but a little sweet for my taste. My friend's Manhattan was nice and strong. What stood it the most was the hospitality. The owner went out of his way to make sure we had a good experience, and that level of service is sobering we really appreciated. Next time we'll probably make it an adult only happy hour so we can enjoy the bar menu.

However, I'm happy to report that I dined here recently and had a better experience. Since the time of my initial review, La Casa remained in my periphery - mainly because my parents periodically visited and it was a frequent stop of one of my friends who lives in Bronxville. That being said, I was curious to check out La Casa again - and that opportunity came when my mother chose here to celebrate Mother's Day. La Casa is located just off the main commercial strips. The interior is pretty spacious with a bar towards the front of the restaurant and the main dining room split in two sections. The decor is somewhat under-toned with a cool color scheme and tasteful decor. This is in contrast with other Mexican restaurants that tend to go overboard with the kistch and warm colors. I will say the seats look a little tired, they could use some re-upholstering - and were a little lower to the ground than I expected. In addition to the indoor space, they have an outdoor section which was done up very nicely. The brunch menu contained a selection of apps, sides, quesadillas, tacos, and sides. We decided to start by splitting a few apps: brisket and al pastor tacos, a quesadilla, street corn, chips and guac, and more guac with tuna. All the apps were tasty - the biggest standouts for me were the quesadilla and the tacos which were all generously filled and had good flavor. For my main, I got the camarones a la diabla which were shrimp in a red pepper sauce placed atop beans and paired with bok choy. The dish was pretty good - the shrimp could have been a bit snappier, but I appreciate that they de-shelled them and the sauce and beans worked well with them. Dare I say the bok choy was the star of the dish? It had just enough flavor and added a needed green. We opted for dessert, and I got the grilled pineapple which was paired with (per the menu) vanilla ice cream or guanabana sorbet. I wasn't asked to choose, and was served the sorbet. I would have liked to have been given the option, but maybe that's all they had - fwiw the sorbet was good. The pineapple was candied and came as a large, thick ring - definitely needed a knife and fork to cut it up (which they provided); this was a good dish in concept but I think it can be executed better. Service was good, everyone was friendly and efficient. In my experience, service tends to be the weakest component of a meal on a holiday, but they did a great job. Overall, I had a good experience at La Casa. Even though it's not in my backyard, I would definitely return if the opportunity presented itself.
