Our kids seem fine but they also only shared a keikei burger and said they didn't like it so they didn't finish their meal. They probably only ate a quarter of the burger each and some fries. We rarely eat out and this was a splurge for us, I'm also pregnant and food poisoning can be super dangerous for a pregnancy so I'm super worried. Overall just sad and disappointed.

By that point, we were already finished with our meal and turned it away. Kitchens get busy, and guests understand that. But setting expectations upfront ("Hey folks, the kitchen is backed up about 30 minutes today") or proactively offering a small courtesy early on would have changed everything. Leaving guests in the dark, ignoring a cancellation, and then offering an unwanted item at the very end isn't good service. I'm normally a generous tipper, and frankly, a tip wasn't deserved here at all. I left $2.00 strictly out of habit, but the front-of-house service severely let down what was otherwise a great meal from the kitchen.
