    Salmon Kani Salad
    Jerry R.

Clean and pleasant restaurant. Staff and Service excellent. House hot green tea on point. Appetizers: Shrimp Tom yam soup. Excellent. Perfectly seasoned. Would like 3 shrimp instead of only 2. Salmon skin salad. Excellent. Sushi rolls: All very good. They Use a little rice on the rolls which gives more taste in the fresh ingredients. Pricing is fair. Will def. Return.

What a great experience here. Clean and spacious interior. Fast and friendly service, nice genuine people. Excellent tiger house roll. My daughter enjoyed her salmon avo and sweet potato tempura rolls. Gyoza soup and edamame were solid. Fried banana and green tea ice cream. Affordable. Go there!!!

This place was great! Food was made quickly and tasted amazing. Service was excellent, wait staff were very attentive. The place is small but has decent seating. It was very clean. Everything is made in house, sauces and all. We were impressed.

    Shrimp Tempura Lunch Box Special
    Laura D.

Came to lunch with my daughter today. She got spring rolls & hibachi noodles. I got the shrimp tempura lunch box special. This came with California rolls, white rice, veggies and Shumai. There was also a salad & miso soup (which we devoured before I could take a picture. Oh dear! It's a lot. I'm going to be eating this for a while. (Because I have a small stomach) SO good. The waiter is super nice and patient. The music is soft and just a nice ambiance in the background. It's not overly lit up but the front wall is all windows so it's plenty light enough. I really do enjoy eating here. Though I usually get it to go.

Loved the sushi sandwich and the rest of the rolls were great too. Also tried the tuna dumplings which were a favorite. Service was quick and friendly. Will definitely be back when in the area.

Good sushi in ''midtown" Kingston! Great lunch specials make it one of our favorites. They even have loyalty rewards program (a free app or miso soup yes pls!). I like their speciality rolls but all the simpler options never disappoint either. Even for dinner prices are very reasonable and always tastes fresh. Casual vibe inside. Staff is always very friendly and accommodating! Only good things to say about Yasuda!

    Seaweed Salad

Great experience at Yasuda! We started with the seaweed salad, gyoza, and spring rolls. All were very tasty and it came out very quickly! We then got vegetable and shrimp fried rice which was absolutely perfect. The shrimp was cooked so well and the veggies were tender. So delicious! For our sushi, we got the rainbow roll and the Kingston roll. Again, just very well done. Couldn't get pics because I dove right into eating. Our service was great, our waitress was so friendly and happy to serve us. The place is very quaint inside! We were so happy to hear music playing from the Studio Ghibli movies! Will 100% be coming back.

Great place for sushi in Kingston! This is one of my favorite places to go with my friends, it never disappoints. I took a friend this weekend and the meal was delicious, and everything is always super fresh. We got 2 of each roll, spicy tune, eel and avocado, and the Kingston roll, the presentation was great! Our waiter was attentive and very kind, as well as the other staff. They quickly greeted us when we arrived and were incredibly helpful. I will definitely be back, and recommend you give Yasuda a try!

Salmon Teriyaki Dinner Bento box with soft shell crab
    Shirley L.

Came by to Yasuda during my visit to Catskills. Their waitresses are all very friendly and provided wonderful service. I got the Salmon teriyaki bento box and the salmon was cooked just right. It came with salad and miso soup. The soft shell crab appetizer was a bit disappointing since it seems like the breading is either the breading is over cooked. Overall I would definitely come back in the future if I am in area! Can't go wrong with great staffs and decent food.

I like the large Mexican/Asian fusion menu. There is something on it for everybody. I started with the Malay curry wontons. Dumplings in a red curry sauce. They were delicious! They were tender, the generous filling was delicious, and they had just a little bit of a gentle heat to them. I could feel my forehead sweat just a little bit. I liked them. For my main course, , I had the Asian rice bowl with teriyaki beef. I chose the seasoned rice, and it came topped with cabbage, carrot, cucumber, bean sprouts, broccoli, bokchoy, cilantro, and egg. I had mine with Teriyaki Sauce. The bowl was huge, and it was delicious. The meat was tender and had a good flavor, the veggies, and the rice were done just right, and I like the addition of the egg. Everything played very well together. It was rich, but not overly so. There was a lot of food, and I took some of the dumplings and the rice bowl home for later. I had a soda, but they also offer Boba tea, beer, even soju, among other things.. The price was very reasonable, especially for the fact that I got two meals out of it. I will be back. Thank you.

Our trusty Yelp app led us to this historic building and restaurant. I'm really glad we came to see some truly great architecture and learn some cool history of life before these United States. Even though the British tried to burn it down during the Revolutionary War, the family restored it to previous glory and it remained in their possession for over 200 more years! Now let's talk about the restaurant experience.... We were seated immediately and given a choice of indoor or covered outdoor seating. Laura came to get a drink order and offered some kids specials. She also put in our daughter's order right away so that she would be occupied and well fed. A chicken quesadilla with fries won her over and filled her up nicely. A bowl of New England clam chowder to start for me followed by a delicious Mushroom Omelette special. So fresh and tasty. The Mad Ukrainian ( formally MR or Mad Russian until the war broke out) had a delicious Reuben Sandwich with fries and a Garden Salad. After the salad and a half sandwich, she decided to save some room for dessert at another place nearby. Pair that up with a couple of local Beers and some soft drinks and coffee and we had an enjoyable lunch. Pricing is excellent compared to home prices and we ate with leftovers, drank, and got a historical glimpse back in time for less than $70. Home run in my book!

The meatball was amazing, words cannot describe it and the pastas were perfect with handmade noodles and the mushrooms just melted in your mouth. The portions were generous and they had great wine pairings available. Highly highly recommend. We texted to make a reservation which was very easy.

The restaurant layout is a little eccentric, but cute in a erratic way. There was the restaurant, an alcove, and a back patio. We sat in the alcove. We ordered the fresh made pasta with tomato and basil. That was very soft and the five year old ate up the half portion. (By the way they do have half portions.) We ordered the lamb ragu, which was very hearty and filling. I also ordered the pasta with seafood, which had heaping amounts of seafood. I think all were pretty fairly priced, considering the quality. The waitress we had was amazing. She helped us get our kid settled and knew exactly what she needed. She made some great suggestions and was overall the best. Great place!

We enjoyed the Figgy chicken sandwich (fig jam, plentiful greens, cheese and chicken, bun could have been better quality) with salad (pretty fresh), and the Caesar chicken sandwich with fries. The server (owner?) was very friendly and explained the menu, saying specifically that the chicken sandwiches are made to order. There were only two other occupied tables on a Saturday afternoon and the food took a little while to come out (not very bad but not super fast). It also seems like a place that should be crowded but wasn't. Coffee was self service. They also had a pumpkin pie in a plastic container (didn't look homemade) in the front. There's a little children's play area in the back. And the unisex bathroom was very large. It's located on a street with lots of shops and other eateries (pizza etc).
