We went here for dinner with daughter and her new hubby. They had tried take out before and loved it so we walked from The Lace Mill for a meal. Fast and friendly family owned - the service was wonderful and the food fantastic. We did quite a bit of sampling: dumplings, beef negimaki, spicy tuna pizza, bbq whole squid, Yasuda roll which had tuna, eel tempura, mango and avocado and chicken katsu. Jolie Lives It's an hour before the 1st Election Results are going to be announced. To say I'm anxious is a gross understatement! The necessity for great food, cooked with love and delivered was overwhelming. I needed healthy and delicious food so I ordered a Phili. Roll, without the cream cheese and it was delicious! I ordered the Teriyaki Salmon Box and asked for the Shrimp Tempura to be replaced with Veggie Tempura. Whitney, the lovely and helpful voice on the other end of the phone said, "No problem!" The feast arrived surprisingly quickly and was delivered by a really polite and patient woman, Debbie. I went through my order with her verbally, to confirm that I'd received everything I'd ordered. She confirmed my order and she was right. The only mistake was that I received white instead of brown rice in my Teriyaki Salmon Box. My Phili Roll was yummy and I'd asked for the Cream Cheese to be replaced with a Veggie. Whitney had suggested Cucumber and it was perfect. I like to limit my Dairy whenever possible. This way, I can save it for when I crave it. Like some Green Tea Ice Cream, which I ordered and am so happy I did. Creamy and full of flavor, I think that it's Homemade! I ordered way too much food, but when food is really good, one tends to make room for it. Their Salad Dressing is addictive, the Salmon Teriyaki subtly sweet, even though it was white, the rice was good. I tasted some of the Dumplings and tasted Shrimp, so I didn't finish one. Though I didn't eat more than a nibble, it's sauce was delish. I am saving a lot of my Dinner for Lunch tomorrow and absolutely delighted to have found this wonderful Restaurant. I have a fabulous Lunch to look forward to eating (Depending on what happens later tonight, it all may just become Dinner tomorrow. I'm glad to have something I can depend on, to look forward to having tomorrow! Especially a bit of Green Tea Ice Cream. We all may need to have some Ice Cream tomorrow!) Yasuda is absolutely delicious! I drive 45 minutes just to go out to the restaurant weekly! There are choices on the menu that are varied and creative that I've never had in any other sushi restaurant; fresh and displayed in a rich pallet of vibrant color. The hostess is charismatic and very knowledgeable; the chefs top notch! The wait staff is pleasant and incredibly attentive. Portions are generous and yet the price is very reasonable. Great place with excellent service and creative food presentation. The tuna dumplings and Yasuda roll were especially good. There was another roll, who's name I can't remember, but it had tuna, avocado and mango and was awesome. Joyce was a wonderful waitress. A friend and I found this place on yelp and are so glad that we did! Everyone was so lovely! They even have an offer on yelp for a free roll - we tried the peanut and avocado roll. It was very yummy! We also had the Godzilla roll, the 2 roll lunch special, miso soup, and salad. Everything was so fresh and tasty! If you get a salad, you'll be able to try their in-house miso ginger dressing, which is so so good. They even sell it in a pint or quart - my friend is bringing a pint of it home with her. My boyfriend and I had a lovely date here last night. The sushi was exceptional- high quality, flavorful, and beautifully presented- a work of art( for example, carrots cut into butterflies)! There were a lot of unique touches, including mixing black rice in with their brown rice to make it more moist and healthy, and creating a roll wrapped in thin tuna instead of rice and seaweed, which was very refreshing and good if you are not that in to raw fish because it is light. The service was wonderful. Joyce was very friendly and gave us suggestions about what to order. Since they have just opened, they gave us a few things on the house, which was very generous! They will have their beer and wine license in a few weeks. They deliver, which is very convenient! If you get one of their to-go menus, there is a 15%-off coupon for dine-in and pick-up (not delivery) that is good through October 1st, 2015. read more

Sushi is my all time favorite food, so when I moved to New York, I wanted to find my new sushi spot, and Yasuda did not disappoint. The fish is fresh, the staff is polite, the delivery is fast and the food is always the correct temperature (hot food hot, cold food cold). I sat at the sushi bar and was immediately greeted by the sushi chef, who held a conversation with me while he was preparing other tickets. He was very knowledgeable​ about the fish he was serving, how fresh it all was, how they made the rice, everything. This is the 1st time I've ordered delivery from anywhere in Kingston (just moved here) and what a wonderful place to start with! I ordered 2 lunch specials. The Salmon Teriyaki lunch special and the sashimi lunch box. Everything is delicious! The salmon, miso soup, salad dressing for salad, little around dumpling things that came with the lunch box special, the sashimi, etc. The sashimi portion itself (6 pieces) was a bit on the small side but everything tasted great so I'm ok with that. Sit at the bar to get to chat with him and get suggestions if you can. While we were there many regulars came in, and all were recognized and welcomed. This place has the best sushi in Kingston. I come here all the time and the food is outstanding. The hibachi is awesome as well as many of the other cooked foods and desserts. Food is good; five stars may be a stretch if you are sushi nerd, but they really fill a niche in Kingston. The best thing of all is they are on grubhub. I thought the world would end when I moved out of the city and couldn't have click-and-deliver for everything. But now I can click for dinner while still at my desk working (or already having a glass of wine) and have steaming yakisoba and a mackerel appetizer brought to my door by friendly drivers. Went to this place a few days ago but never got around to write a review. This business stands out from the rest of the area. It's in a shady part of town but they offer some decent sushi for its price. It's not high quality but it is certainly better than a lot of sushi I've had in Kingston. The place is well kept and sitting at the opposite side of the sushi chef I was able to start a conversation and learn his passion for what he does. In the end it was an enjoyable experience and would recommend it for a quick solo lunch. read more

The food here is fantastic. This visit we had beef negamaki, soft shell crab, fried calamari and the Magic Roll. The calamari is incredible - crispy and better than most fried calamari that you find! My nine year old loves it. She also loves that they will bring her miso soup without the bits, and special kids chopsticks. Went back to Yasuda for the second time. Absolutely AMAZING! I've been to a lot of sushi restaurants and have eaten a ton of sushi and Yasuda has the best sushi I've ever eaten! The fish is so fresh it tastes GREAT and melts in your mouth. We ordered the Sushi / Sashimi Love Boat (8 pcs sushi, 15 pcs sashimi with rainbow roll and spicy tuna roll). The presentation was beautiful. Not only is the sushi good but very importantly the service is equally as good. At so many other sushi restaurants the service is totally lacking. Not at Yasuda! Joyce and the entire staff are so friendly. They greeted everyone that came into the restaurant by name and were genuinely happy to see them. I've never seen that kind of service at a sushi restaurant. When I was paying the check Joyce asked me my name and made sure to ask my husband for his name before we left.
