He was very gentle with my hair (combing and blow drying on low heat). I also appreciated that he examined his work periodically throughout and check with me if it was to my liking (length, thinning, etc.). Prices were very reasonable. We were charged $45 for my partner's cut and $60 for mine. They completed both cuts within 1.5hrs and it also comes with a shampoo. I'd highly recommend this place!

She is thorough, methodical, and takes all the time needed to make sure the job is done right. I came in with dark virgin hair. After not having bleached in over 10 years, I wanted a balayage for a natural look and blending at the roots with my natural m, since it's so difficult to maintain my hair being a FT working mom. She suggested airtouch for a softer grow out while making sure I keep my hair healthy (without too much bleach). She absolutely delivered on technique, but I initially wasn't happy with how dark the result came out. BUT what really set Anckley apart is how she handled that moment. She was SO understanding and kind, zero judgment, and wasted no time squeezing me in to remove the darker toner and apply a toner shade much closer to what I had originally envisioned. She walked me through the entire process, explained exactly what she would do, and reassured me that my hair would not be further damaged by removing the previous toner and adding a lighter one. She used Olaplex and even did a hair treatment to make sure my hair looks and stays healthy, so you know she's investing in the health of your hair, not just the look. She was warm and professional throughout the entire appointment, always checking in, offering water and snacks, and making you feel genuinely taken care of. Olivia saved my hair…read more I had grown out my hair to 29 inches (4th picture attached) and was excited to get Long Layers. Unfortunately my cut (not with Olivia) was botched and I ended up with what looked like a bowl cut in the front and an overly thinned tail at the end. I felt so self conscious and started looking for a hairstylist to fix my hair. Olivia was incredibly empathetic. She started me with a consultation, was transparent and up front about what she could or could not fix. And checked to make sure I was happy with the length taken and the style. After such a horrible experience prior, I felt she was very considerate. She combines this empathy with incredible skill. My hair is actually quite difficult to cut because I have thick hair and I style it differently on a daily basis. Before cutting, Jacky carefully observed my hair texture, growth pattern, head shape, and even pointed out the strengths and weaknesses of my current hairstyle. I've had haircuts at many salons in both China and the United States, but no stylist has ever given me suggestions that suited me as well as his. Throughout the haircut, he paid close attention to every detail and took his time to make sure everything was done perfectly. The final result exceeded my expectations and suits me extremely well. You can really tell he cares about his work instead of rushing through appointments. I also want to compliment the lady who washed my hair. She was very experienced, and her scalp massage was amazing--one of the most relaxing shampoo experiences I've had. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with my visit.
