I always get a chicken gyro, with everything, and extra tzatziki. I've never been disappointed & it's the best place to satisfy your gyro cravings. It's the closest you will get to an actual gyro from Greece in Philadelphia. They use proper gyro meat, rather than that weird shaved deli meat that so many Greek places sell. I also love how they put the fries in the wrap, rather than having to ask for it extra. Highly recommend! All the Yeeroh locations are awesome.

If you take a ride on the 101 Media trolley it is a beautiful experience and best of all there is a reward waiting for you at the end of the line. This is one of the finest restaurants that Media has to offer. Authentic Greek cuisine in the most wonderful tradition of fine spices and the freshest of ingredients. The place is warm and inviting with aromas that greet you. The moment you walk through the door. They have an extensive menu that is both delicious and healthy. Come on down and experience a culinary treat. If you are a musician or an artist you understand inspiration. The food here will certainly inspire anyone who is fortunate enough to experience such incredibly well prepared cuisine. Enjoy!

Awesome place to stop in for some delicious gyros. My husband and I stopped here right before our flight out of Philly and we were very happy with the food here. We both ordered gyros, greek salads, and a slice of the orange cake. Everything we ordered was so good. The gyros were delicious, and the orange cake was the best we ever tasted. We were the only ones there when we ordered our food, so it came out quick and efficient. The workers were also very friendly. A+ customer service. We would come back again if we ever return to Philadelphia.

The yeerohs we got here were delicious! Packed with food, an excellent amount for the price! I've missed tzaziki sauce and have been trying to find a greek place that offers more than just meat options. I loved the mushrooms! Feta fries were great and abundant. The service was good and our order for pickup was ready within 10minutes of calling in. I was disappointed to hear they changed their menu from select 5 adittional toppings to now only select 2. They seemed really confused when I referred to 5 option being shown on every yelp menu that people have posted. I wasn't impressed with the lemon potatoes.. pretty bland. And to be nitpicky I wished all the food was warmer upon opening.

It took a while for the waitstaff to get drink/appetizer orders to us once placed, but I think our large party was the issue and there was only minimal staff at the bar. My Greek Island Iced Tea was meh along with the Greek Cosmopolitan my wife got. The Greek beer and wines were nice to experience. At our table, there were many different dishes. The waitress advised they were out of one item on the vegetarian menu. My dad and his wife picked out others and did you know that a true Greek salad doesn't have lettuce? Our waitress told us that and my dad said that was true when they visited Greece. So they must know what's up! My family and I shared a combo cold appetizer which was several spreads (some spicy!) on pita of which we had to order more of. Only one of the spreads did we absolutely hate. They called it caviar but it was mayo in consistency and looks. The hummus was nice, tzatziki was loved, and the garlic potato was SUPER garlic. My main dish of octopus was quite nice and I wished was a bit larger. Octopus with lettuce tomato and onion in oil. Tasty. My wife and kid had lamb shank and lamb roast. Both were delicious and tender. My friends got the cheese on fire tableside and a lot of calamari which was also well liked. Our waitress was wonderful and on top of things. She was able to split the check three ways and got well deserved tips. The restaurant itself is a little cramped as it's in a former residence, but you can get around. If you're in the mood for Greek food, I don't think you'll go wrong at Zorba's Taverna. $180 including tax and tip for three adults. Two cocktails, a beer, tea, combo appetizer, three mains, and a dessert to go.

The atmosphere is bumping! They have TVs to watch games and a bar to sit at. There was also music being played. Just an overall amazing vibe. We decided to get a whole bunch of appetizers to share. Spanakopita- INSANE. So flaky. Had a nice balance of spinach and feta. IOS chips- INCREDIBLE. Zucchini and eggplant chips, which were like tempura friends so it was light and airy. Beef and Lamb Flatbread- OMG. THIS BLEW ME AWAY. The meat was so well-seasoned. The spinach and Greek cheese suit the meat so well. The drizzle of sauce on table added on a layer of sweetness. So good. Hummus- SO GOOD. Very traditional. Greek Salad- So refreshing. Halloumi- Delicious! Kataifi - INSANEEEEEEEEEEEEEE. Sweet, flaky, creamy. Drinks were also delicious and fun! The staff were also so friendly and welcoming. Overall, everything was SO GOOD.

So flavorful and surprisingly filling! As for the crispy rice, omg we loved them so much we ordered a second. it was fresh, nice and crunchy. the addition of the olives paired perfectly with the tuna, it was not mushy like some places in the city. i may have found one of my favorite places for crispy rice! the price is also unbelievable, $8 for 4 pieces. amazing. the chicken kofta skewers and the filet skewers were fine, a bit on the saltier end and let it be known that the filet skewer comes with a spicy sauce over it. I would say skip the skewers but everything else was fantastic! would totally recommend and come again especially for that crispy rice!!

Overall Ratings Atmosphere - 5/5 Service - 5/5 Food - 5/5 Parking - Street Parking Atmosphere - The restaurant is beautifully decorated with a modern and upscale feel. Our waitress was personable, friendly, and attentive without being intrusive. The staff did a great job making sure our group was taken care of, and everything flowed smoothly despite the size of our party. What We Ordered - -Wagyu Dumplings - Filled with feta, onion, and lemon mint yogurt. Very good, rich and flavorful with a nice balance from the yogurt. -Crispy Rice - Topped with tuna, avocado, and olive. Also very good, with great texture contrast and fresh flavors. -The Spreads - Served with fresh pita bread and spiced rice crackers. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfect for sharing. -Shrimp Kadaifi - Very good. Crispy, flavorful, and a great starter. -Charred Octopus - A must-order dish. Merion Park Labneh: this labneh is thicker than other restaurants which I really like actually. the photo I insert may be deceiving, as it looks chunky. rest assured, it's absolutely smooth, just a thicker consistency than most labnehs. the spices on it are so so good. I think this is a must get along with a hummus. me and my sister are vegetarian, we share a hummus and a labneh and are decently full after those. we also snack on some small plates for the table (fries and olives) and leave full. Israeli Pickles and Olives: comes with two ramekins filled with varying sized pickles, not pitted olives, and some tiny yellow peppers I *think* are either pepper-chinos or at the very least taste similar. they also come with a small ramekin for the olive pits. The yellow peppers are very spicy, but I loved them. the olives are green, and i'd consider them friendly olives for those who are particular around olives. pickles were great as expected. French Fries: easy order for the table. portion is large and I think $8 is a steal for the quantity and quality. comes with a yummy ketchup my sister loves (she is considered a ketchup hater). COCONUT MALABI: I did not know what to expect. and honestly, first bite I was a bit confused by the texture, but by the end, I really liked it. its a thick pudding consistency, smooth, has a decent bounce to it, not too sweet at all, subtle coconut flavor. has a strawberry (I think) jam situation on top with some sort of crunchy thing. will be getting that again for sure. we had three people split this and it was enough. would consider getting two for four people though. service was quick, efficient, and kind. love the atmosphere. it has a sort of lively fun vibe to it. also we were in and out pretty quick without being rushed at all which is nice. just efficient. Also, I haven't tried them yet but they have a good little mocktail menu for those who don't drink!
