This Yellow Basket has a huge menu with lots of variety to choose from that could satisfy anyones hunger cravings. Wether its breakfast, burgers, Mexican food, or a quick snack from the side dish menu, Yellow Basket may be a good choice for you. Upon my last visit, my friend and I shared an order of "Carne Asada Fries." I have had these fries on numerous occasions and have always found them to be a great side dish and item to share. The fries are covered with sour cream, tomatoes, and chopped carne asada and also topped with sliced avocado! The avocado, which is gold to me, is really good and compliments the taste of the carne asada. This is really a good meal that can be easily shared between two people as it is a generous portion of food. It can be a little pricey, as the same could be said for many of the items on the menu, but it is great to enjoy every now-and-then. I have never sat at the tables inside and experienced the overall service, but I have noticed that there are many available places to sit in this large dining room. Its actually pretty nice inside and relatively clean and brightly lit. Large televisions are planted on the walls that are displaying either sports or CNN News for customers to enjoy while eating. I suggest phone ordering in advance because this Yellow Basket can be very slow at times. The Drive-Thru, in particular, can get really backed up and slowed by the numerous hungry customers and their incoming orders. I had an experience one early morning where I used the Drive-Thru and ordered a breakfast item and was faced with a fifteen minute wait! In addition, to make the inconvenience worse, there was no one else in the Drive-Thru with me! It was just me, my appetite, and a long wait for something that could have been done in no less that five minutes. Overall, give Yellow Basket a try if your in the Menifee area as there are not may locations, with exception to the spots in Santa Ana and Temecula. Be prepared to pay a little more than expected, but always come ready to eat. Yellow Basket has been one of my go-to restaurants for years, and I've always appreciated the consistent service they provide. Recently, I visited the location off the 215 Freeway at the Newport exit, situated on the corner of Haun Road and Newport Road near Texas Roadhouse. This time, I brought a group of friends from Orange County who were visiting for Thanksgiving. We were looking for a place where we could enjoy good conversation and a satisfying meal, and Yellow Basket did not disappoint. What truly made this visit stand out was the exceptional service we received from a young man named Cole (I believe that's his name- he was the tallest employee there). Not only did he provide great customer service by promptly bringing us condiments and napkins, but he also took the time to have a genuine conversation with us. It's rare to encounter staff, especially the younger generation, who go above and beyond to make you feel welcome, and Cole's friendly and attentive demeanor made our meal extra special. I wish some of the other food establishments in the area would provide this type of customer experience. Yellow Basket's menu offers a wide variety of options, and I've had the opportunity to try many of them over the years. Some of my favorites include their burgers, breakfast items, pastrami, salads, and sandwiches. These dishes are always good, and the portions are generous. The restaurant is mostly clean and organized, with seasonal decorations that add a nice touch to the atmosphere. It's a great spot to grab a meal with friends or family, whether you're looking for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The food is consistently tasty, the environment is pleasant, and the service--especially from staff like Cole--makes it a place worth coming back to. Yellow Basket continues to be a nostalgic favorite of mine for its excellent service, delicious menu options, and welcoming atmosphere. I'm happy to recommend just about everything else on the menu. If you're in the area and looking for a place to enjoy a meal and good conversation, Yellow Basket is definitely worth a visit. Where do I even start?!? I would rather eat toe jam then nasty old yellow basket! Every time I try to give this place a chance I am more and more disappointed and I really hope they close this place down! One time I went there and I ordered the most simple thing ever, CHEESE FRIES, can you believe these nincompoops gave me my food and the styrofoam box was MELTED! I called to ask them why the box was melted and they tod me that they MICROWAVE the cheese fries in the styrofoam box! i was so disgusted i told the "manager" that I was speaking to that it is dangerous to do that and that it causes cancer, the moron just laughed at me!! I wanted to strangle him but unfortunately it was a telephone call!! please do yourself a favor and do not eat here, unless you want to eat crappy prepared food.. oh and all the girls here are just a bunch of dumb bimbos who look like they hate life and cant wait to get home to facebook and write about their crappy jobs. I have never Yelped before. This is my 1st time ever. Only reason I decided to start a Yelp account was to tell you about my experience at yellow basket. Not only was to service beyond amazing the food was out of this world. I went in and asked the waitress if they had fried chicken dinners since it was only 10 am. She replied with yes, of course we do. I then went on and asked her how many pieces and which sides it came with. With everything she had to say about the chicken dinner. I told her I really wanted it but it was way to big for me to eat and that fried chicken is always great reheated. She then offered me the senior chicken fried dinner which was pretty much the same thing as the dinner just 1/2 the portion. And let me tell you. For being a fast food restaurant I was shocked at the quality of the food. Just recently moved to Menifee. So I decided to try something new so I stopped in for some breakfast this morning before heading out. Ordered the California Breakfast Burrito. Holly moly this thing was a beast but worth every bite. Took me a while as I decided rather to finish or save it for later just so that I could save room for something else. I wanted to order something for later before leaving. I decided to go on Yelp and saw that another customer had ordered something that wasn't on the menu. I figured why not, order the same thing. So I ordered a Philly Cheese Steak with pastrami and a side of well done fries with some ranch. I decided to munch on the fries and ranch while it's still fresh. AMAZING ranch dressing ever. Which lead to me trying the philly cheese and pastrami and boy let me tell you. I'm so glad I only ate 1/2 of my burrito. I guess I'll be stopping by more often. read more

Decided to come here with my son for lunch. For the 1st time ever. My son had mentioned that this place only has 2.5 star and that the food and service isn't all that great. I told my son if this place was as bad as people had yelped. They wouldn't be opening another location. I figured it doesn't hurt to try and form our own opinion. So we went in. Need to say we're here again for the 2nd time today per my sons request. Yep the one that was going off of Yelp and others opinions. Asked to come back for the 2nd time in one day. Food was great so was the service. So I really don't understand all the negative comments and why this place would get such a low rating.
