Nice and inviting owner. Papaya was good but on the sweet side if you like sweet papaya definitely recommend portion size was good.

The service is excellent and the menu is perfect. I love how you are greeted and seated immediately when you walk in. If you have questions about the menu, the servers are helpful in answering. The appetizers are tasty. I loved how we had the option of steaming or frying the potstickers we ordered. The main dishes were great too. I learned about mama drunken noodle being thinner than just the drunken noodle. I was curious about what the love drink was so I will have to order that next time I dine here. Overall, I had a great experience. I want to come back with my husband and friends. I wish I had room for dessert this trip. I will definitely be getting some next time! This place is really good and I highly suggest you dine here!

This place has been running for about 4 years but kept so well that it looks pretty new still. Place was clean and service was excellent. Husband really raved about the best sausage he has ever eaten hahahhah I didn't have any so I cant say YAH GET IT - BUT he knows his food so you probably should. I didn't like the pad see ew at all (flavor or ingredients - where's the broccoli or egg?) and the kaopoon needed a lot more coconut milk. I also prefer thicker noodles for my kaopoon. The ones they used were like angel hair thickness compared to the spaghetti sized ones i like. The Thai tea tasted fresh, but I've had better. My bf got the yellow curry and said it was good. I don't like curry so it was a no for me. Prices were fair and much better than most places. Service was also good. Order at the window. Seat yourself and the lady walks around to the front to bring the food to you. You grab napkins, utensils, and sauces yourself. Cute outdoor vibes, but not great in winter or extreme weather. It was windy and cold when we went, so not ideal but it wasn't horrible. Parking was easy. We parked on the street across from Smart & Final. There are some parking spaces right across the alley, but I'm not sure if it's ok to park there.. there weren't signs saying it was only for residents or a specific business, but the street parking wasn't much further so we didn't bother moving our car. Overall, I wanted to love it, but it just wasn't my personal taste preference. For reference, my favorite Thai place right now is Tuk Tuk. But, I would still recommend that people try it. Others seem to really love it, so I guess it just depends on how you like your Thai food. 3.5 stars rounded up to 4.

Nothing fancy, nothing upscale. Hole in the wall, you order your food through a written menu in a makeshift kitchen window to order and have a seat until your food is ready. As for the food, it is everything authentic and delicious as you'd expect! As for a lack thereof, the flavors and spices and textures you get from any dish would make you miss home as they make each plate so cozy and comforting. It's a home away from home style. The staff were so heartwarming and nice, they treated each guest as family. The noodles in the soup were made to order. The broth in each was thick and flavorful. Kao poon was rich and creamy while the kao piek was aromatic and herbaceous. You know you're getting great food when this place is giving you PURPLE STICKY RICE and home made JEOW!

Despite it being late and at times crowded, we are always taken care of and our food comes out in a timely manner. The restaurant itself is pretty clean. The tables, chairs, and restroom aren't usually clean when we are here late at night. I took away one star since the jumbo wings almost always has feathers. So I pick them off before eating. Overall, still a staple for dinner.

Few things why it gets 2 stars 1. Our table when seated were not wipes clean, still had grease marks and had a bug on the table. While we killed the bug with a napkin and were wiping the table, the waitress came and clearly saw us doing so, she didn't even bother to offer to clean it with a sanitized towel. She just carried on with giving us a menu. 2. I ordered large beef pho, the broth was bland and tastes watered down, the portion was decent however the 3 beef meatballs they added tasted bad like it's been sitting out in room temp all day. I ended up spitting it out. 3. My wife ordered papaya salad and a order of wings. The 4 deep fried wings took 20 minutes to come out and unfortunately it also tasted slimy upon biting in and she ended not eating it. Place gets 2 stars because bathroom was clean and although it was not the best pho, it was decent and I finished my pho bowl.

The basil fried rice with chicken did not contain much basil or chicken. The flavor was good, however it was lacking ingredients such as vegetables and meat. The green curry was tasty and contained a decent amount of veggies and chicken. The eggplant and chicken were tender and my favorite part of the dish.
