    Won ton Soup

The young man at the counter was very polite and helpful. His service was outstanding. During our visit, we were the only ones there. Through our meal, only two customers came in 42 go orders. And this was a lunchtime. Perhaps they have a larger dinner business.Hopefully, business as well. And they stay open. The places well decorated and very comfortable to dine in. The salt and pepper pork chops were tasty and tender. The one time soup was huge, and the broth was amazing. The chow mein was also tasty but seemed to lack a little something. The fried rice was the only plate I would alter. Something about the taste made it seem a little fishy. Also, it seemed like the color really wasn't there. However, overall it was a very good meal with very good service. And a very relaxing place.

We went here New Year's Day and there was nobody inside. We ordered wonton soup, shrimp dumplings, shiu mai, xiao long bao, pan-fried soup bao, pan-fried chive dumpling, wonton in red chili oil, and beef wrap roll. The food came out right away and we ate away. Not a long wait. My favorite was the shiu mai, xiao long bao, pan-fried chive dumpling, and wonton in red chili oil. Shiu mai tasted fresh. Favorites were tasty. The whole table did not like the beef wrap roll with fresh onions inside that was so strong. You have to ask for the chopsticks which surprised everybody. The staff is friendly and nice. Spacious inside. Outside there were a lot of people just hanging out so I do not know how it is at night. Thank you. Take care. Been here before New Year's on my own and tried the wonton noodle soup and the pan-fried chive dumpling. Enjoyed both dish. Just add seasonings to the noodle soup. Lots of noodles in the soup. Will go here again.

Food- very very good, but the good ol' fave of "it's not SF" is a fitting description. Service- we were the only ones there are the time so we were waited on just fine. Ambiance- place was empty. I think there was an employee sitting at one other table but other than that, empty. Kinda nuts to have illustrations of the dishes on the walls. Eh. Big arse spoons- I didn't order soup dumplings, nor soup so it was there for looks. Mmkay sure. WiFi- nope. The place next door (Domino's) had an open system so sure. The har gow (shrimp dumplings) seemed a touch bland. Extra points for them throwing in six, maybe due to their size. Kinda small. Siu mai was very decent. Noodles- weren't really pan fried even though we order the house special pan fried chow mein. Swimming in gravy and while some may find that to be too much, I thought it was fine. Just be forewarned, there was lots of gravy. Might come back if in the neighborhood. Not sure what would bring me back to this neck of the woods though. Good game.

Special order, barbecue pork chow fun

I stopped in for lunch on a weekday, thinking this was a Dim Sum-style restaurant since I'd been craving shrimp and chive dumplings. Sadly, weekday Dim Sum options are quite limited -- only about four items were available, and none of them were what I had in mind. So, I decided to go with one of my favorite comfort dishes: Chow Fun. Although barbecue pork with tofu wasn't on the menu, they did have barbecue pork and fun noodles, so I asked if they could combine them -- and they happily accommodated! The staff here are some of the happiest, most attentive people I've encountered, which instantly made the experience better. My dish arrived piping hot, with noodles cooked to absolute perfection. The mung beans, onions, and scallions were crisp and lightly sautéed, and the barbecue pork was tender, juicy, and plentiful -- exactly how it should be. The only drawback was the soy sauce; it tasted cheap and overwhelmingly salty, making it hard to enjoy without several cups of tea or water.

Enjoyed the weekend dim sum spread last Sunday along with a few dishes, like garlic green beans and salt and pepper pork chops. Although not a dim sum restaurant, there were about a dozen offerings, including soup dumplings and pan fried buns, in addition to the standard ha how, siu mai, and bbq pork buns. The service is excellent and the space comfortable.

Braised fish and tofu-this was our favorite!

My bf wanted to try a new place for dim sum in natomas so we came here-we got the xiaolongbao, braised fish and tofu, chili wontons, and scallopfried rice. The scallop fried rice paired super well with everything we got. My bf got it because we normally don't see scallop fried rice being offered as a carb at a lot of places. The chili oil wontons were our least favorite, but were still delicious nonetheless. Its just that everything else was a bigger standout to this place. I def highly recommend the xiaolongbao and braised fish and tofu which i can see myself getting both again-even my bf who doesn't normally love cooked seafood really enjoyed it, and the good thing is that if you eat with a person who also has that preference, a good chunk of the dish is tofu. It also had a generous portion of onions, shiitake, and green onions, so I felt like I wasnt missing out on not ordering a separate veggie dish One of the most notable things about every dish we got was that nothing was too oily or salty despite still being packed with flavor, which was mentioned in a lot of reviews that i saw. The food also came out really quickly and came out piping hot which I always appreciate! Service was also really friendly. The portions were HUGE. we ended up having to pile up two to go boxes, but Im not complaining lol

Nice option in South Natomas. Located in a strip mall near Popeyes. Inside is clean and well maintained. Ordered and served quickly. Unfortunately, it was a holiday weekend when they were busy in the morning so they were out of a lot of of the things we asked for. They were out of veggies, boba, chive dumplings, egg tarts. What we ended up with was good though, and my family enjoyed it. 4/5 beef chow fun 5/5 soup dumplings 4.5 spicy chicken 4/5 wontons in chili oil

Heard there was a change in ownership so I tried this place again. They still have their lunch specials which is a good deal. They serve a large plate with rice and a main course which can be enough for two meals. ordered their pan fried dumplings which is supposed to have soup in it but there was none. It also had way too much dough and not enough meat. I really liked the way they pan fried their dumplings in the past with the crispy skirt but they no longer have this option. Service was decent though the strip mall they're located in seems more sketch now. There were multiple homeless people in the parking lot and it smelt smoky.

My mom and I wanted Chinese for dinner on Saturday and I found this place on Yelp not too far from where we live. They are located in Natomas next to Bel Air and Popeye's. We arrived around 5pm and there were already a few tables full of families. The inside was clean and spacious. Staff was very friendly as well. We ordered the Honey Walnut Shrimp, Chicken Fried Rice, Combination Chow Fun, Pan-Fried Chives Dumplings and the BBQ Pork Bao Buns. Everything tasted very fresh and I liked that the Pan-Fried Chives Dumplings and BBQ Pork Bao Buns were made fresh to order - they took longer than the entrees to come out. There was so much food - we took home leftovers that lasted us through the weekend. I loved everything we ordered, but I would definitely like to come back and order different entrees to try next time like their Dimsum. One lady walked by our table on the way out raving about their Green Beans. We'll definitely be back soon! Check them out!

This place is so good I already want to go back. I got their salt and pepper pork chops as well as their dry-cooked green beans and a side of rice. The pork chops were just so deliciously cooked and so crispy too and did not have much bone with it so it was just *chefs kiss*. The green beans were also very good but i wasnt expecting it to be spicy so i wish they would indicate that on their menu with a symbol because the picture looked like they were just steamed green beans. But i do like spicy food , i just wasnt prepared to eat spicy food that afternoon. Other than that, it was also the right type of service that i personally feel like was right for me. They checked in on me from time to time but not often, i liked that they just left me alone to eat and enjoy my food. Restaurant was very clean and beautifully decorated. I will most definitely be coming back :)

    Hot and Sour Soup (Large)

My first time, but since it was Ash Wednesday, I didn't get to try any of the dumplings or dishes with pork. Still lots of good options with shrimp, seafood, or veggies, though! Thanks, friends, for understanding. We shared a large order of the Hot & Sour Soup, Garlic Noodles, Shrimp Dumplings, Crispy Shrimp Balls, and Walnut Prawns. Clean, and instrumental music in the background ambience. Service was quick, one person at the counter handling takeout orders, and our main server lady was prompt with water refills, each dish as they were ready, answering questions about the menu, and bringing the check. The hot and sour soup was great, not sure if it had any meat but the usual tofu, mushrooms, bamboo shoots, egg drops were present. It was not too spicy, hot, or sour -- just right! The shrimp dumplings (hargow) were pretty big! These come in the flour wrapper, steamed. The crispy shrimp balls reminded me of the ones at dim sum with the strips of spring roll wrapper on the outside then fried. Both orders were good, but I'll definitely be back to try the shumai, soup dumplings, etc. The garlic noodles were simple but yummy. No butter or parm like you'd find elsewhere. The walnut prawns were also very good size, and ratio of batter/mayo. Located in a South Natomas Bel Air-anchored strip mall next to Domino's Pizza, a few doors down from Popeye's.

We didn't order any of their dim sum. We ordered their dishes and had them with white rice. We had black pepper beef, walnuts, shrimp, braised fish, tofu, and Kung pao chicken. They all taste flavorful and delicious. The meat wasn't too chewy. They cook it right. I like the fish and tofu. They are not too salty. The walnut shrimp were good, as they were crunchy when I bit. We didn't like Kung Pao chicken as the chicken is a little tough. The price was decent for that portion. We couldn't finish them all, so we got them to go for dinner. The staff was nice, and the restaurant was clean.

*** UPDATED REVIEW*** What a difference new owners make! Everyone was craving Chinese, and no one wanted to hit up our regular spots, so I figured let's give Yi Long another chance. Wow! So delicious!! What we ordered: Sesame balls. Delish! There's only three per order. You'll want more! Shrimp, pork, chive dumplings. It's an extra dollar for pan fried. Not worth it. Keep in mind, these weren't my favorite. More chive than meat, and the pan fried, was closer to burnt. Sweet & sour pork, tasty and thankfully not filled with a ton of onions and bell peppers. Made well, and worth trying. The sesame chicken. - I'm the only one that was iffy about it. Definitely tasty. The sesame noodles. Tasty. They are a thinner noodle. They would have been tastier if they weren't so dry. Bbq pork bao bun- three to an order. Great texture and filling! Definitely delish and a must try. I'm so glad that I have Yi Long another chance! I'll be back soon.

Yum. Delicious- again well seasoned. I can see why this restaurant is rated highly!

Service was fast as well! I've eaten at a few popular Thai places in Sacramento and have to say, this place is in my top 3! Their mango sticky rice is SUPER GOOD too. I arrived right when they opened @ 11a & there was no one there. I started taking pictures like I always do as soon as I arrive to a new place I'm trying. Staff asked what the pictures were for. I told her it was for my Yelp review. I immediately already had a bad vibe, because no one has ever asked me why I was taking pictures. She later apologized & explained a situation to me. I'm so glad she did as it explained so much more cause this review could've been so different. I ordered the seafood pineapple fried rice and the green chicken curry. In the seafood pineapple fried rice the seafood included shrimp, scallop squid, and I love the little pineapple chunks. I wish there was more cause I actually love pineapple. The green chicken curry was so good plenty of eggplants, which I love. Loved the scallops! There's a spicy kick in the green curry chicken but it was like a perfect spiciness. everything was very tasty. Both dishes were really good. I had some leftovers and she boxed everything up. I could've done it but it's really nice she took the time to box it up. Staff were friendly. There's both indoor and outdoor seating. I really wanted to try the mango sticky rice, but I was too full and I got super cold as I think the vent/ac was turned on and it was blasting really cold air. I'll have to come back and try that next time but staff mentioned they have another restaurant off Rush River, which I will try soon. It's called Sai Varee. When I left, I totally forgot my Crossbody bag and luckily staff ran out just in time. Just wanna say thank you to the lady cause I had a lot of stuff in my Crossbody so I appreciate her. my day could've been really bad if I lost it. I'll be back to visit again, and I can't wait to try the other location soon. Definitely come stop by and check this place out

(Cleanliness is a BIG plus for me.) Once I got to place my order the woman at the register made it a note to advise that while the menu didn't list it all, they did offer traditional dishes other Chinese restaurants offer. I ordered, Chicken Chow Mein, BBQ Pork Fried Rice, Mongolian Beef and BBQ Pork with their Chicken Egg Rolls to go.
