You can scan the QR code at your table or order at the front counter. We ordered from the front counter. We ordered the highly recommended Mousaka, the 3 piece plate with a side of green Greek salad. We chose the chicken skewer, pork skewer, and bifteki for our 3 meat choices as well as an order of Spanikopita. Our food was delivered to our table promptly. I grew up eating my Mom's Mousaka and I've eaten it in Athens, Naxos and Santorini. Let me tell you, their Mousaka was excellent. The eggplant, potato, meat filling and béchamel on the top were perfect. It's definitely a must try. The three skewers of meat were so flavorful and juicy. Both my husband and I loved it!! The pita bread it came with so warm and soft. The Spanikopita was fresh and hot. Delicious flaky phyllo dough with a savory spinach interior. The salads that came with each dish were also wonderful. Their feta on the top was so good and I loved the Kalamata olives. Customer service here was great. The young lady that helped us when we ordered was very friendly and helpful. It started getting busy inside while we were eating and I can see why. This is delicious homemade Greek food made from the heart. We will be coming here more often, now that we know about this place. There are many other things we are looking forward to trying.

The food here is really good. I always get the chicken souvlaki and it never disappoints. Good size portion as well. So why the 3 star rating? A couple of reasons... the cleanliness of the place loses 1/2 star. Every time I eat there, I wonder if I'm going to be spending the evening in the bathroom or not. And 1/2 star lost to the speed of service - it always take sooo long to get your food here. They are certainly not in any rush to feed hungry customers. Overall, the food is tasty but bring your hand sanitizer and wipes and be prepared to wait a bit for your food. read more

I am a greek food fiend, so when there are places like Yiassoo that are super afordable and quick to pick up I am in love! I'm always in a hurry so I need fast service and great food to satisy me. The rice here is unbeliavable, I have been to Greece multiple times and it brings me back everytime I eat the rice here ( weird,right?) The lamb souvlaki and the falafels are amazing!! I love it! Been here a few times many years ago. Went again last week, it was ok. The place was empty, and we were there Friday at lunch. The food was good, tasty, but not great. The gyro was a bit dry but maybe it was just the day. I had the salad, and the veggies were fresh, the dressing tasty, the tzatziki sauce was a bit bland. Service was super quick, and the cashier was ok.. she could have smiled. Will come back again but not one of my regular places. read more

I stopped by here on my lunch break the other week and I was so happy to discover that Yiassoo was so close to work! I've been to the other location on Saratoga-Sunnyvale Rd, but the food here was even better. My chicken souvlaki wrap was flavorful and piping hot. I also tried the avgolemono soup, which was very good. The restaurant was busy during the lunch hour, which seems like a good time to go because then the food is even fresher. read more

This place is amazing. You have to try their gyros. I've been going here for years and they never disappoint. If you're going at lunch I highly recommend calling in a to go because they're always packed. Their staff is always friendly and helpful. My daughter left her sweater there once, and I couldn't believe it. The next time we went the server remembered us and gave it back to her. They definitely have a family friendly place! read more

I've only had catered sandwiches, but they were fricking amazing. The pastrami was delicious. It wasn't traditional in flavor, but it had fat and juice. Oh man. This is a great fast food greek restaurant. I've been here many times and the gyro is always heaping and well made. The food quality is very good for a fast food restaurant - Yiassoo is a great find. My wife usually gets the falafel sandwich and that is pretty good, but I think the meat dishes taste better. read more

Have been here too many times to count, tonight the young lady at the register was extremely friendly and nice. My S/O had his usual lamb plate and I tried the falafel sandwich. The gyros here are awesome. I've never had a bad one. Very consistent and filling as well. The only down side is the ambience inside (a little dated), but is more of a take-out place anyways. If you like gyros you'll love Yiasso. read more

The restaurant is a cozy size, clean and was decorated with lots of soccer stuff as we came during the FIFA World Cup. This place was amazing, very satisfying meal and highly recommended! Double Combo Plate - Turmeric Rice - Chicken Shawarma and Gyro Beef - The Works (Everything included) - Tzatziki sauce - Falafel (Side) - Waffle Fries (Side) Okay, the presentation of the combo plate wasn't the most aesthetically pleasing, but I looked past it. Unfortunately, the chicken and beef were lacking in flavor and were pretty dry. The portions were generous, though the gyro beef was sliced pretty thin. The veggies were actually fresh, which was a plus. The hummus was on the lighter side flavor-wise, while the Baha Ghanouj had a solid roasted aftertaste. The Achilles spread was... interesting. It was very fatty with a garlic aftertaste. It just wasn't my thang. The waffle fries were cool. They were fried well and had a good crunch, but nothing special. The falafel, though, was pretty disappointing. I'm not sure if I just got a bad batch. They were very crunchy, but had a weird dish-soap aftertaste that I couldn't get past. I couldn't finish the rest. Sorry, but I'll be on the lookout for another Mediterranean spot.
