The salad bar has the usual dishes and dressings, as well as chili and mustard sauces. Shrimp and faux crab are included. The desert bar has fruit pieces, puddings, and macaroons. Several serving bars have fish dishes both grilled and stewed, chicken, beef and a variety of stir fries. The sushi bar is extensive and next to a pick your ingredients and they will stir fry it station. There are multiple seating areas, well-cleaned and comfortable. Tables for everyone from singles to families. The lunch and dinner prices are prix fixe but you can also serve yourself up very reasonable carry-out by the pound. When questioned, the young boy running the cashier said, he didnt know, and that I should ask the waistress/owner, who said it was a "service fee (tip)," and shes RUDE. Do not come to this location. Their website is over 6 years old and the pricing is WAY off. We looked at the senior pricing, which said it was $6.50-8.50 for early senior meals. However when we got the bill is was over $38. I showed the "so called" manager what was on their website site and she couldn't have been less interested and was sort of combative about their OUTDATED information. Food was decent but was definitely not worth the money. For half that amount we could have gone to Chinatown down the street for a much better meal. So be wary if you come here. Reminds me of a "bait and switch". Definitely won't be coming back here. The restaurant has no posted prices and the only price signage talked about was for the "to go" pricing by the pound !!! Well, darn! Yichiban Buffet fell short of our expectations. Though this restaurant is 'help yourself at the trough' style buffet, you'll still have a server that'll bring drinks and bus the table. Our server was excellent. I didn't have to ask for a refill, and she kept the table clean. In general, the food service area was clean, and the food was refreshed before the food ran out. No complaints at all with their service. The food, well, is low quality, and tastes like every other all you can eat Chinese food restaurant. Nothing was really spicy, and nothing tasted freshly cooked. I did appreciate that I could have cantaloupe with my meal. That's really hard to get these days. The Szechuan Beef and Chicken was pretty good, but not spicy at all. Overall, the food is disappointing. The ambiance leans towards communal. You may have to wait at the trough for someone else to finish filling their plate(s). This restaurant is kid friendly, and the kid noise is hard to miss. And, why would someone come to any public place coughing up a lung? Seriously! Well, they were there. That's a HARD no for me! I get the impression Yichiban Buffet food was made fresh yesterday. Yichiban Buffet This is one of my go-to stops for buffets in the Euless area. It's right off of 183 and industrial rd, easy to get to. Now for the price they offer a hibachi Grill, fresh sushi and the buffet is always pretty nicely stocked. You definitely get your money's worth here. read more

Good but not great, They do have a decent variety, they even have some items that I have never seen on other buffets But with a few exceptions the quality was severely lacking. I know I know it's a buffet but I have been to some quality buffets, Such as King Buffet just down the road That has higher quality standards and is comparable in price. Just to give you an example of what I'm talking about, I went to the sushi bar and grabbed a few things that I later regretted because the sushi was room temperature/warm, now I am no sushi expert (And feel free to correct me if I'm wrong) but I feel like it should be kept cold because of the raw fish but I don't actually know. But what I do know is On top of it being room temperature it also smelled extremely fishy compared to other Sushi I have had in the past So I personally will not risk it again and if I ever re-visit this Buffet I will more likely than not stick to the hot dishes. With that in mind one Hot dish in particular that I did like that I have never seen on any other Buffet was deep-fried crispy pork which was amazing and I ate quite a bit of it. All in all, it wasn't horrible or anything and I'm not going to say I wouldn't eat there again because I do love me some Buffet and there is a video arcade In the same parking lot which makes it that much more enticing for a visit So who knows I may be riding a follow-up review to this one sometime in the near future that Includes somewhat of a better experience read more

I absolutely love this place. The food is delicious, especially the pork belly and wonton soup. The wonton soup is my favorite because I use to eat is as a child. The pork belly is very flavorful. I have been there dozens of times and have seen many of the things described in other reviews. However, I go there to eat, and not to be treated as Royalty either. Nor do I judge the accents of the servers, who are good to me, and i hope I am good to them. The food is a Chinese buffet, with sometimes sushi and Mongolian available. Recently moved to the area and decided to try the Yichiban Buffet since we got a 50% off one buffet with purchase coupon in the mail. The buffet selection was great and all the food tasted fresh. Very large sushi selection, a few different sashimi to chose from which I don't usually see at buffets. TONS of seafood! The cream cheese rangoons are my favorite, and theirs contained a ton of filling. The spicy shrimp was perfect, I could have eaten a whole plate of just that. When we went to checkout, we learned that our coupon wasn't valid because it required purchase of two drinks, and I had ordered water. The man who I assume is the owner offered us a 15% off discount anyway which was awesome. read more

Brand new buffet in the neighborhood. A beautiful building - everything is clean, bright, and new, and the owners obviously are trying to put out a very quality product. I went at lunch, and still had a tremendous variety including boiled shrimp, hot crawfish, roasted pork and a selection of sushi rolls in addition to the typical Chinese food dishes seen on the buffet. Almost every sushi roll had cream cheese in it, which I find pretty gross, so I did not enjoy the sushi as much as I wanted to. Everything else I tried was pretty good. Decided to try this place out for dinner and it was ok. The food was okay, wasn't anything to call home about. Right after I grabbed my second plate, I heard screaming near the front register. The two workers there were screaming and physically fighting each other. It lasted for about 10-15 minutes, but it was so uncomfortable. I didn't touch my second plate, quickly paid and left.
