Ynot answered my call immediately on that same day was over assessing the problem and coming up with a solution to replace the unit. It was a very, very complicated job, all underground and piping, etc. and figured out what new unit I needed, etc. They ordered the unit and then installed it flawlessly anns professionally and it's working perfectly . Full Disclaimer: Tony (the owner of Ynot) and I part of a same organization and I know him as an acquaintance, but mostly just shaking hands and small talk. I don't know him in-depth. Our home HVAC was thirty years old and finally quit. As we were without heat and it was a cold day, Tony made sure to come out the same day. He ended up coming after hours from a full day in order not to let us down. He diagnosed the problem. Our system was shot but instead of trying to sell us a new system, he provided the options of repair, replacing the system, what we could possible expect due to the age of the system, etc. He didn't push for any particular option. He took our questions patiently. We opted to replace the system. He crew arrived on time (early actually). Alex and Jesus were professional, courteous, worked quickly, and cleaned up after their work spotlessly. Their attitude was to treat us as a valued customer. They were going to work through their lunch. I had to encourage them to take a break to eat. When they finished, they ran full tests on the system , explained the system to us and the filters, and made sure we were satisfied. They went all out to make the system look good, visually as well. No gaps, all quality work. About as aesthetically pleasing as an HVAC can look. I'm writing this review in April, 2024. Since Ynot is popular in our area, they book up FAST in the summer. I'd advise anyone not to wait until your system dies in the summer. Get it checked out now. (no, I get no commission. That's just an honest opinion from a customer). I had Anthony come by to give me an estimate. After reading yelp reviews and speaking with him it was a no brainer. The replaced my plenum with new ducting so my furnace would be more efficient and heat all the rooms in my house equally. I really wanted to write a glowing review but it's been very much a mixed bag experience with Tony and Ynot. The good - I love that Ynot is independently owned and Tony is very nice and knowledgeable. I feel like he steered us right in the purchase of our Heat Pump HAVC system and gave a very honest and competitive bid. His team was nice and seemed to do a nice job on what their experience level warranted them working on. The not so good - Tony is very poor at responding to phone calls and texts. Probably time for him to hire someone to help him if he's too busy to respond to customers. Also, there were multiple times were his guys were not able to complete something and needed Tony to come out to figure it out. The second time Tony never responded to multiple calls and texts so we just went with someone else to finish the job. Hopefully the downside of my experience is an outlier, but it was really a bummer to get ghosted by someone who you've written some pretty big checks to. read more

Tony is the guy. he's helped me several times with installation of a few new furnaces and AC units over the last few years. Extremely easy to work with and reasonable. He responds fairly quickly via phone and is pretty punctual. On his last visit he came out and replaced a AC unit for me in my home. Beware of this con man. I was referred to Anthony (Tony) Furtado by another hvac professional. When I first contacted Tony he was very receptive, gave me qoute on a house fan installation, and then later that day, installed the fan. He guaranteed his work and if anything went wrong just give him a call. Less than a month later I'm having a problem with the fan. I contacted Tony about the issue 4-5 times without a response. Its like he disappeared. I've been calling him going on 3 weeks now and still nothing... Tony is a con man. I payed $1400 for the job and now he refuses to answer his phone or return any of my calls. Do not use this person. He is liar, his service is unreliable, he has integrity issues, he is a crook! You've been warned. read more

If you need a new air conditioner don't look any further. Tony of Ynot Heating and Air installed our new Air Conditioner during the high heat and smoke time within the same day. While he may not be able to produce same day service to everyone, his price was the best (meaning a considerable amount less than the other bidders. He showed up on time and completed the work the same day. He and his crew were immaculate. There was no mess. They wore masks They were polite and respectful and came recommended by a friend in the building business. I spent 35 years in the property management industry and wish I had found someone like Tony before I retired. You absolutely can't go wrong with Ynot Heating and Air. Tony was amazing! So quick to come out when I called. He let us know everything was fine with our A/C unit. I had first reached out to another company for a routine service of our A/C and heating unit they told me there was a leak in the A/C. I'm so happy I got a second opinion from Tony. I would have ended up spending thousands of dollars for a "repair" that wouldn't even had been needed. Tony was the one who originally installed our unit prior to us owning the house. I wish I had contacted him in the first place to avoid all the money I spent with the first company, thankfully he saved me the extra that I would have had to spent. Anybody who has worked with people in the trades knows the frustration of trying to get somebody out to fix something on short notice, or showing up when they they say the are going to. That is not the case with Tony. I have had to call them out twice, once for my own home and the second time for a second place that we rent out. We've known for a couple of years that our AC was failing. An expensive Freon recharge only lasted a year, and an emergency basis evaporative cooler helped out last summer. It was time to make some calls and Tony was the first to respond, offer an estimate, and after two other higher bids with significant delays, Tony got the job. Tony picked up the equipment later that day and it was installed a day later. A full HVAC inspection found damaged ductwork and other issues that he quickly repaired. Anthony's team at YNOT is top of the line! Anthony was prompt with answering my initial quote, he came out and surveyed my home. I got quotes from three other companies and his was competitive with the others, I ultimately went with him because of a personal recommendation. I am so happy I did! Our project was a new furnace, adding in air conditioning, replacing ductwork, and adding in a second zone. Throughout the process he was quick to communicate over email, text, and phone. His team was professional and every day they cleaned up after their work. They were good about keeping us updated on the status of when the project would wrap up. I am a licensed Professional Engineer (PE). I design and specify air conditioning systems for industrial and commercial facilities. During hot weather in Antioch, our air conditioner failed. I checked the breaker, but it did not trip. I expected it was the fuses. I called Ace Hardware, but they were already closed. I called and Tony came out. He replaced the fuses. That was not the cause. The condenser fan motor failed. He did not charge us a service fee. Since it was an older HVAC system, our motor was not sitting on the shelf. He ordered and replaced the condenser fan motor on our HVAC during hot weather. He charged us $700 for the new motor and labor to install it. When fan vibration caused a lead to one phase of the motor to fall off, he came back and reinstalled the lead and secured it in place with wire ties, again, with no service fee. I was VERY pleased with the VERY PROMPT service, professionalism, and price. I most strongly recommend Y-Not Heating and AIr for any HVAC needs. read more

Last summer (I am late on this review) I had YNOT come to inspect our AC system as it had been on the loud side. Tony gave it a tune up in a short amount of time and it was fine! I also asked if he should take a look at our air duct system to possibly schedule a clean out, as we have an older home that probably has never had the air ducts serviced. I'd seen ads arrive in the mail from other heating & air companies advertising 50% off, etc. Tony said it wasn't necessary and it was how other companies will try to make extra money and also try to recommend total new systems to customers. I called a Heater repair shop that warned me the were expensive due to commercial overhead. But he kindly spent 30 mins trying to troubleshoot over the phone with no luck. Eventually he said call my buddy Tony. He's great and better priced than many you'll find. I called Tony and unlike the other companies that sent text appointment windows days later, he simply said let me see if my guys can swing by. Within 35 minutes; Alex and Jorge came by. They were so nice, friendly, flew in and fixed it immediately within 45 minutes and we chatted and had a nice talk with them. Super kind fellows.
