I ordered the Alaska roll on Uber eats and it was crispy salmon skin inside the roll and some cucumber with carrot. I called and they said this is how they make it...

    Crab Mania Roll

Food is always delicious, my favorite roll is the crab mania roll, it's full of flavor and a good amount of sauce! Service is always good Ambience depends on the time you go, it can get busy. they have 10% off on all rolls on wednesday!!! one of the best Yo sushi!

    Uncooked chicken

I usually order sushi and it comes out good, but I decided to try the chicken teriyaki plate that came with sushi. Big mistake! When I bit into the chicken I realized it felt too chewy. I looked and seen that the chicken wasn't cooked! No more Yo Sushi for me

Yo Sushu has the best sushi in town (coming from a sushi-snob). every time I go in store the checkout is really fast and provides really great service. The restaurant itself is small, however, very cozy. if you're looking for somethng quick, Yo Sushi provides great quality food and service. I highly recommend! Favorite: Alaska roll, Oregon roll and north Texas

Lunch outing with a friend this past Friday. She recommended this place and had nice things to say about both the grub and the staff. My friend ordered ahead by phone and our food was ready as promised when we arrived. There wasn't any other customers inside and were able to pick any of the tables we wanted to sit in. I ordered the fire roll (deep fried shrimp, spicy tuna, jalapenos, unagi sauce..forgot what else). I loved it! I honestly was looking for more kick, but, they were out of fire sauce. *Newborn baby cry* I also ordered the cucumber sunomono (a Japanese salad with cucumber). It was refreshing and delicious to eat. I got full off the rolls alone. I didn't get to finish the sunomono...makes for a great left over later on! The grub was fire (see what I did there? Lol), pleasant staff, and a location far from work. I definitely will look to return again soon for my next sushi fix. :) Honorable mention: the wall has pictures of every single roll on the menu

Best sushi in Fairfield. They have a large selection of rolls and even my friends that don't eat raw sushi enjoy the cooked rolls.

Yelp has one dollar sign for this restaurant. Is that accurate? The prices are not on the menu. Thank you.

Yes! The rolls are $5.00 to $8.00! Which is a steal... I mean deal!

Anyone know the exact date for their reopening? I need my Yo's!

    Its back open

Does anyone know if they plan to reopen the Fairfield location?

An employee at the Albany restaurant told me that they were working through the permit process in Fairfield that can take 3 months. Hopefully they can rebuild soon.

I walked in expecting sushi…read more What I didn't expect was to discover what might be the best shrimp tempura roll yet. Like many sushi regulars, I've gotten used to the quiet arithmetic of ordering: one roll usually isn't enough, so you order two, sometimes three, and suddenly what began as a casual meal turns into a financial decision. Then I noticed something interesting on the menu: a jumbo-sized shrimp tempura roll. Curiosity won. Ayemi's jumbo portion is roughly twice the size of a typical roll, yet priced around what many places charge for a regular one. Naturally, I had to try it. The first bite had everything you want from good tempura sushi. The shrimp was crisp and light, not greasy. The rice was soft and balanced. But there was also something else...a subtle flavor running through the roll that I couldn't quite identify. Not overpowering, just a pleasant note that made each bite feel a little more intriguing than the last. Perhaps a touch of fusion. Perhaps a house seasoning. Perhaps just careful attention to balance. Whatever it was, I was hooked. The textures layered beautifully: warm tempura crunch, cool rice, and that mysterious flavor that kept me going back for another bite. And another bite. And another bite... And here's the rare part: the jumbo roll was actually enough. For once, I didn't feel the need to order a second roll just to feel satisfied. The pricing was so fair that it left room to do something I always appreciate being able to do: tip the gracious hosts generously. The owners were incredibly kind and welcoming. It was as if they welcomed me into their home and seated me at their family dining table to break bread with them. While I was enjoying the meal, the restaurant slowly began to fill. Then it filled some more. Soon the room had that lively buzz of a place locals clearly know about. That's always a good sign. Great food has a way of revealing itself in real time. By the time I finished my meal, the place was packed. And honestly, I wasn't surprised. When a restaurant serves food this good at prices this fair, word gets around.

The only thing that upsets me about Hot Stone, is the fact that it took me almost 6 years to try it…read moreout. Had dinner on a Friday night with my husband and son. We did the AYCE and I definitely got my money's worth. The service was courteous and prompt. The ambiance was typical for a K-BBQ spot- the open floor plan makes for a slightly louder place, but at least the music was not blasting so loudly that conversation was hindered. The menu has meat and other dishes that can be ordered a la carte, if all you can eat is not your thing. (Or if you don't want to have to grill your own meat.) We ordered: -Pork belly (regular, thin sliced, and soy garlic. All great, but the thin sliced has always been my favorite). -Marinated beef (tasty). -LA ribs (well marinated and not too salty). -Bulgogi and the Hawaiian bulgogi (the Hawaiian was good and I like the pineapple chunks to grill,, but preferred the regular because it was less sweet). -Shrimp (head and shell on, be prepared to peel and de-vein after grilling). -Marinated baby octopus (one of my son's favorite things he had there). Some highlights that will bring me back: -Sliced pickled radish to wrap the meat for a low carb option. -Glutinous rice paper to wrap the meat (nice and chewy texture, great touch to the marinated meat). -ALL of the banchan was spot on. Zingy kimchi, firm broccoli, not too sweet fishcakes, and seasoned bean sprouts were among our faves. -Last but not least, the crispy chicken wings. Crispy like Korean fried chicken should be with delicious sauces (we tried the sweet and spicy, and the soy garlic). Worth it to come back just for that. We will definitely be going back soon!

The Hawaii roll is my favorite and they slice the lemon very thin, not like some rolls with large chunks on top that are all rind. My friend got the fantasy roll, also incredible. But the MAGIC FIRE BALL? I hate mushroom, with a passion, and this was the most delicious thing I think I've had ever. It's listed as a new menu item and I hope it never goes away. Hello all, first thank you to all my followers, let me tell you, I moved here from living in Hawaii…read morefor 18 years, the food is Amazing for the most part, but, now that I live in the mainland where do I go for a good poke bowl? Haruki sushi that's where, it's in Vacaville and next to Jack and the box, the food is so good, I've been here a few times and it's busy but never full, always room at a table. Ambiance, is Japanese fish on the wall kitty cats waving at you, the whole kitten kaboodle ( see what i did there) Anyway, it's a nice place to come enjoy a great meal with the family or a date. The food, oh man let me tell you, my two grown boys treated me to dinner, I had two ordes of the ahi poke salad sounds like alot but when you taste it you will shake your head yes, and nobody is asking you questions. Just in your head celebrating with a yessss! The seaweed salad is out of this world, it definitely satisfied my poke cravings. As a family we had Dragon, Dynamite, Sumo, Dancing Spider and Fantasy rolls. Sounds like alot but man it's sooo good, we all know how to use chopsticks but about halfway through my Asian wife gives up and asks for a fork, lol (I got scolded for adding that) I asked my boys 3 times which was their favorite, they said they loved them all. I asked if you could only have one which would it be, they said the Dragon roll, The spicy edema had great flavor. The service, the service was friendly and ready to fill your glass as needed. Not big on conversation but I assume the language barrier had something to do with that. In all its a great place bring the famBam and enjoy, Price is 10- 15 bucks a roll. Worth every dollar Enjoy
