A solid ramen spot. The menu offered the typical selection you see at most ramen shops, and I ordered the tonkatsu ramen. The person at the counter was very helpful and the seating is casual. Overall the broth was tasty, not as creamy as other offerings but still salted that umami flavor I was looking for. The portions were decent given the price and I walked away full and happy.

I absolutely loved the ramen. I ordered the tonkotsu ramen spicy without mushrooms or bamboo shoots. The broth was very flavorful, noodles cooked al dente, pork was tender and spicy was the perfect amount of spice. I could eat it everyday. 10/10 highly recommend. The shrimp tempura was a bit inconsistent, with 2 of the 6 pieces being darker than the other 4. The flavor was bland and I would not order these again. The soda fountain was out of order, but the restaurant had bottled and canned sodas and juices. Overall, I enjoyed my experience here and will definitely come back or order to-go the next time I'm in Vacaville.

It's a really negative vibe when you go to this place. They have signs everywhere telling you what not to do and what to do. Don't sit at the tables till you order. The lids don't fit on the water cups. If you want soda you need to pay for it. I did appreciate the sign on the inside of the bathroom door telling you how to tell if the bathroom door is locked or not. They must have a lot of issues to need to put signs all around the establishment. For me it just really put me off and took away from the ambiance. When we arrived we went to the register to order. The person taking our order was very quick and lacked pleasantries. Once we placed our order we were directed to a specific table. We sat at our table and one of us got our waters. The food came out quickly. The service was much quicker then anticipated. The food came out boiling hot and ready to eat. It was delicious. Better then expected. For the food we'd return. For the ambiance and service it was a no go. Now you know what to expect. It's up to you to choose to come here.

Not bad for a fast ramen spot! Good food, clean environment and nice customer service!

My wife and I visited during a lunch break and ordered the Black Garlic Ramen. The dish was satisfactory, though it did not exceed expectations. Additionally, there is room for improvement in the staff's customer service.

I have no idea why this place has a 3.4/5 on yelp. This place is insanely good. I've ate at almost every restaurant in the Nut Tree plaza, except this one. So I decided to try it today. I had the black garlic ramen (spicy) and chicken Karage. The ramen was splendid. Noodles were perfect, broth was creamy and spicy, pork was tender and the egg was perfectly cooked. Then, the chicken karage came out and it was actually perfectly cooked. Super juicy on the inside but still crispy on the outside. This is one of the better foods I have had in months

Ramen 101's takoyaki is the kind you grab when you are craving something crispy and comforting. The outside has a nice light crunch, the inside stays soft, and the sauce mix hits the sweet-savory balance well. It is not Osaka-level authentic, but it is tasty and worth adding on. Their rice meals are straightforward and filling. The chicken katsu and teriyaki plates come out fast, the portions are generous, and the flavors are reliable. Nothing fancy, just solid comfort food that does not miss when you need something satisfying without overthinking it.

Good food. Ramen was very tasty. Service was very quick. Chicken rice bowl was also with good flavor. They had it somewhat of a self serve for utensils and such. Would appreciate complementary cups for self serve water.

The service was amazing, the food was good but honestly the egg was nasty, and the ambience was honestly not that good but it was fitting for how many workers were there.

The girl at the register was sweet & professional. The black garlic ramen bowl with chicken was soo delicious. Full of flavor. I have pneumonia so I can't account for the different flavors but from whatever I could taste let me tell you it was amazing ! Fresh, and the soup was spicy and delicious. Will definitely be back. :)

Good ramen. Not authentic Japanese cuisine but it's delicious. The employees are kind. I had the Tonkotsu ramen and shrimo tempura. Both were good choices. If you like spicy, ask for them to make your ramen extra spicy as regular spicy might not be enough. By the way, you have to order and pay at the front counter before sitting down.

Nice place to get a bowl of ramen. Decent service today for takeout. It was only 4pm on a Friday, so it was not busy. There are plenty of empty tables for dining in, but can get busy around dinner time. We got Tonkatsu Ramen and Black Garlic Ramen that were both tasty. The roasted egg is made well. There could be more ingredients in the ramen, but you can opt to add more ingredients for a cost. There is better ramen 20-30 minutes away, but if you are in Vacaville and want to eat some ramen, then try it out. They do offer other items such as appetizers (starters) and rice plates, so if you are not in the mood for ramen, you can order something else. Today's experience and flavor of the food is a solid 4.5/5.

Just in your head celebrating with a yessss! The seaweed salad is out of this world, it definitely satisfied my poke cravings. As a family we had Dragon, Dynamite, Sumo, Dancing Spider and Fantasy rolls. Sounds like alot but man it's sooo good, we all know how to use chopsticks but about halfway through my Asian wife gives up and asks for a fork, lol (I got scolded for adding that) I asked my boys 3 times which was their favorite, they said they loved them all. I asked if you could only have one which would it be, they said the Dragon roll, The spicy edema had great flavor. The service, the service was friendly and ready to fill your glass as needed. Not big on conversation but I assume the language barrier had something to do with that. In all its a great place bring the famBam and enjoy, Price is 10- 15 bucks a roll. Worth every dollar Enjoy

You can order by the tablet or a server can take your order. We decided to order by tablet which is very easy to do. Food: - Bento Box A $19.00 (choose 2 items): Teriyaki Beef and Shrimp Tempura. The beef is a decent quality steak unlike other restaurants that use cheaper cuts of beef. Teriyaki sauce has good flavor and is not too salty or too sweet. Shrimp tempura was a crunchy and decent size. The salad is organic mix greens with their house dressing which tasted good. The bento box also comes with miso soup. Their miso soup is not watered down and had strong miso flavor with bits of tofu, seaweed and green onions. - Bento Box B $19.00 (choose 2 items, 1 item is a sushi roll): Some rolls are extra cost. Teriyaki Beef and Futomaki Roll (+$2.50): The Futomaki is very good, has good amounts of kampyo, shiitake mushroom, sweet egg and other veggies with minimal rice. - Sashimi Trio $23.50 (or roll, nigiri, sashimi): Good portion size with thick cuts of fresh fish sashimi. Comes with miso soup. Service was excellent! We were checked upon many times by different servers. Water was refilled without waving anyone down. The owner even came by and gave 1/2 a bowl sample of their Japanese curry to try out. Was told they will be offering Japanese Curry soon. Overall, a great dining experience with really good food.

The setup was pretty interesting with tables on the side and a conveyor belt with the center where the chefs are working and seating lined around that. The staff were kind and helpful in explaining how it all worked being that it was all you can eat. First, there is a menu where you can place orders with the staff for things like appetizers and drinks. We got some sodas and ordered items such as edamame, miso soup and grilled salmon teriyaki. Then in the center where the conveyor belt is, you can walk around to it and pick up plates that you want to try. It mostly seemed like nigiri and rolls that they were commonly making. In the center, the chef station is between the conveyor belt area and there you can order more specific items you want to try like a roll, sashimi or handrolls. We chose to order some different sashimi like salmon and yellowtail and handrolls like the spider and alaska. They also make a bunch of extra dishes that you can take off the shelf as well. For the price and the experience, we thought it was very enjoyable from the multitude of options to the freshness of the items.
