Anytime my family eats or shops in the vicinity of Youngerman Circle, my kids will request a pit stop here for frozen yogurt. This location seems to have taro each time we've gone, so that's a plus. I have been a fan of YOBE since they opened up at St. Johns town center, that shop closed so the next closest was at Blanding. These few times we've gone had been ok until last time, foreign accent cashier working there was extremely rude. We gave her our card to pay and she didn't even wait for us to take out our rewards card, she didn't want to re-do transaction so we'd get our rewards card accounted for, she literally told us what to do by saying next time take the cards out first and then confessed that she didn't know how to re-do a transaction. We e-mailed customer service to complain and they did not even care enough to reply with an actual useful response. This saddens me because it makes me not want to go and buy Yobe with that lady there. But other than that, clean place, best froyo in Jacksonville, worst service I've encountered. read more

I got the New York Cheese cake and added all the fresh fruits that they had. It was a very refreshing treat. Clean, quiet and an employee (possibly male co-owner) who seems absolutely miserable. This is NOT my first visit to this location, and it always looks clean and well-kept. However, business always seems slow despite the fact that it is located off a major expressway (295) and Blanding. There are several yogurt options: taro, vanilla, chocolate, creamy coconut, strawberry, and cheesecake, for example. The toppings look fresh, which include what appear to be fresh, cut fruit (i.e., pineapple, strawberries) and a variety of syrup-like toppings (i.e., peanut butter, marshmallow, fudge, caramel, etc...) I am a very customer service oriented person who doesn't ask for anything other than a warm greeting and maybe a smile. I mean, I am choosing to come into YOUR establishment. Changing my 4 stars to a 1. They are under new management. Yogurt tastes watered down, toppings aren't as fresh as they used to be. Customer service is lacking. I miss the nice young women. 7/12 This was right next door to Ted's Montana Grill and after stepping out into the sweltering heat, I decided some fro-yo was in order. It was my lucky day! It's $4 on Wednesdays. As I was reading the sign that said something about not overfilling the cup, the young woman behind the counter said we could fill it as high as we wanted with yogurt or toppings. It's set up identical to Cherry Berry back home and if the regular prices are similar, I'm extra thankful to have come on $4 Wednesday! There were flavors I'd never heard of - taro was one. Isn't that poi (taro root)? I decided not to be adventurous and got the strawberry. It was pretty good. Got brain freeze about three times. :) Clean place, only about eight selections, but the price (today) was right. Good stuff! read more

I've came in here late one day probably around 9:30 and my wife wanted a smoothie - I'm sure the gal wasn't very happy about having to clean the containers again but whatever. We stopped in here the other day after eating at the Panera and I got a bowl with as many topping as I wanted. We decided to eat in and the place is well kept and clean. I went here on a whim because I wanted some frozen yogurt and it was the closes to me. The worker was kind of rude. Even more disappointing I believe she was the store owner or a manager. My only topping (Oreo crumbs) was also very stale as if it had been sitting out all day. The product here is pretty good. They don't have as large a selection is the sweet frog chain but they have an adequate selection of toppings. Everything looked fresh and it was very clean. Apparently this location you can also buy ice cream by the quart. I saw the sign but I didn't know that there was a special container for it. Apparently the paper containers are for the regular customers and there is a clear plastic container that you are supposed to use for the quarts. I was getting ice cream to go so I put some in a clear plastic container only to be accosted by the young girl working at the counter. She told me that those containers are only for the purchase of the quarts. I had no idea and I told her they should probably post a sign to that that effect. She pointed to the sign that said quarts of ice cream $12 like I am supposed to know that the plastic container I picked up which was unmarked is a court and only to be used for that. So I apologized and told her I would remember the next time but she followed me around and trying to get me to actually move my ice cream from one container to another container. I told her that it was pretty well in there in the bottom with the toppings on it and it would make a big mess so I prefer not to do that. She then offered to do it for me with a spoon which I declined. She then became quite adamant that I couldn't use that container for the regular ice cream if I wasn't buying the quart and I could not put toppings in that container. I explained to her that if I moved the ice cream to the second container then I would not only be wasting the plastic container but then we would be using another paper container also which was even more wasteful. Then she says well she would wash out the plastic container. Eeew. Health code violation anyone??? Clearly places like this should actually train their employees about health code before they stick these kids in there by themselves to work. When she saw my face after she suggested that she move my ice cream for me and then wash out the containers for reuse she eventually gave up. It's things like this that make me never want to go back there again. There are yogurt with toppings places all over town and there is no reason to deal with something like that when I can just go down the street to the next one. I'm giving them three stars because the quality of the product is pretty good but only three stars because the quality of the service was terrible. read more

She also profiled some guest which is sad because the family I saw her profiled spent over $20 yet she treated others differently. This location is very family friendly, with kiddie movies playing throughout the day. There are numerous frozen yogurt options, my favorite being cake batter. The toppings (fruit) are always fresh and well stocked. They aren't currently accepting gift cards. The owner remembers you and engages in friendly combo, during checkout. Clean. I will never patronize this location again. I don't know if there recently has been a change in owners, but the previous people working the store were so friendly and helpful. Yesterday, I went there at 9:48 pm and as I walked up to the door, one of the owners I'm assuming, locked the door and said they were closed. The business hours state 10:00 pm.
